Objective: To evaluate and compare the reliability of different methods to measure sensitivity caused by in-office bleaching procedures.

Methodology: A convenience sample of 34 patients from the dental clinics at Nova Southeastern University participated in the study upon IRB approval, signing consent forms and complying the inclusion/exclusion criteria. All procedures were provided by the same operator (Dr. Abuzinadah) according to the manufacturer’s instructions using Opalescence® Boost® PF 40% (Ultradent, South Jordan, UT). This qualitative research study offers exploration into Caribbean adoptee experiences related to their adoptive parent-child relationships. Existing studies focus on adoptive parent perspectives. Few accounts focus on Caribbean adoptees' experiences with adoption (Caughman, 2007). The existing research serves a purpose by helping adopted parents discuss adoption with adoptees. However, this approach does not include thevoice of the adoptee and fails to encompass the totality of adoptee lived experiences. The research does not focus on the amplification of the adoptees' voice, which in turn, neglects the adoptees' role inunderstanding their family processes. The Clinical Practice Guideline for Peripheral Vestibular Hypofunction recommends walking for endurance as a component of vestibular rehabilitation (VR). Methods: Participants aged 65 and older were recruited from two communities in Iowa and Wisconsin. Inclusion criteria: theability to stand and ambulate without an assistive device, having no orthopedic surgical procedures in the previous six weeks, living independently in the community, demonstrating corrected vision and ability to read, sufficient auditory function to carry on a conversation and ability to follow directions. Introduction: During the last decade, the results of several clinical studies suggested that oral probiotics may potentially improve oral health. The first study examining the effects of probiotics on oral health demonstrated that almost every patient with gingivitis, periodontitis or pregnancy gingivitis, had significant improvements in measurable periodontal indices when they were treated with a locally administered culture supernatant of a Lactobacillus acidophilus strain. Alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency (AATD) is a genetic condition that causes inadequate production of the alpha-1 antitrypsin (AAT) protein, which is known to protect connective tissues in the body from destruction. The purpose of this dissertation study was to identify if individuals with mild to severe AATD are at higher risk for developing obstructive sleep apnea than the general population. Objective: To explore the role of a single pre-operative pelvic floor muscle training session. Group level summary statistics from randomised controlled trials hinder exploration of highly complex SLT interventions and a clinically relevant heterogeneous population. Creating a database of individual participant data (IPD) for people with aphasia aims to allow exploration of individual and therapy-related predictors of recovery and prognosis.

Purpose: This examination of stakeholder perceptions on transitioned foster youth work outcomes is a crucial step to identify service strengths and barriers, characteristics of successful/unsuccessful outcomes, and opportunities for occupational therapy collaboration in San Antonio, Texas.

Method: A mixed-methods approach identified perceptions from two groups of stakeholders. Group I included transitionedfoster youth ages 18–24, and group II involved public/private agency professionals working with youth. Small sample sizes prevented traditional statistical analysis, but the Excel VARA (variance) statistical function analyzed numerical spread combinations from collected data, thus providing quantitative analysis.
