Teachings that undergird Catholic universities hold seemingly contradictory messages about affirming the dignity of LGBTQ+ people and adherence to some Catholic teachings. LGBTQ+ trainings that cultivate allyship are intended to increase individual awareness/ analysis, develop skills to support students, and align with aspects of the institutional culture and mission. Yet, there remains a paucity of research of how faculty and staff navigate what it means to act as an ally to LGBTQ+ populations. The purpose of this qualitative case study was to explore how homeschooling parents (HPs) conceptualize the role of motivation in early reading development and how these conceptualizations inform how they design and implement their reading instruction. This qualitative study investigated the implementation fidelity, teacher perceptions, and contextual factors influencing the use of the MajorClarity career readiness platform to support career development plan (CDP) completion among middle grade students in a North Carolina school district. Guided by Bandura’s (1986) Social Cognitive Theory and Darling-Hammond et al.’s (2001) Learning Theory, the study explored how instructional strategies, training quality, leadership support, and systemic barriers shape program outcomes. Data were collected through two rounds of semi-structured interviews with six Career and Technical Education teachers, using inductive thematic analysis to identify patterns across participant responses. This study presents a comparative analysis of the operational and human factor considerations involved in piloting mini UUV and sUASs, highlighting the key similarities and differences in control methods, environmental influences, navigation, emergency procedures, and situational awareness. A qualitative experimental field study was conducted between July 2024 and October 2024, involving real-world deployments of both systems in maritime and aerial environments. This study uses Scholarly Personal Narrative (SPN) methodology to challenge dominant narratives surrounding shelter dogs, as well as to examine how human perceptions and subsequent behaviors impact shelter dogs’ experiences in American animal shelter institutions. Drawing from personal and professional experiences as a canine behaviorist, I challenge prevailing “bad dog” narratives and introduce Canine CounterStoryTelling, a framework that I have developed which combines Standpoint Theory, Environmental Enrichment Theory, and Humane Education values. This study examines how Social-Emotional Learning (SEL)-based parent education can bridge cultural divides and strengthen family-school partnerships in increasingly diverse educational settings. Conducted at an independent California elementary school where student demographics shifted to become more diverse in the last ten years, the research addresses a critical gap: while parent education is essential to child development, it remains overlooked in SEL implementation. Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) are affected in the areas of social skills, communication, and restrictive and repetitive behaviors that can lead to barriers in accessing physical education (PE). School-based PE helps children learn how to develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence to live physically active lifestyles. Chronic absenteeism is linked to poor academic performance and lower social-emotional skills, both of which can have long-term effects on students and their communities. The California Department of Education uses average daily attendance (ADA) to determine most of the funding that public schools receive. When a student is absent, their school loses a portion of potential funding for that day. This qualitative study investigated the experiences and perceptions of caregivers for individuals with Parkinson's disease (PD) in rural versus urban settings, with particular emphasis on their access to and utilization of community resources. Through semi-structured interviews with 30 caregivers, the research explored how geographical location impacts caregiving challenges, support systems, and resource accessibility. Using Andersen's Behavioral Model of Health Services Use as a theoretical framework, the study revealed both universal caregiving challenges and location-specific barriers. While all caregivers reported significant emotional burden and healthcare system navigation difficulties, rural caregivers faced distinct challenges related to resource accessibility and specialized care availability. …

This qualitative study explores the factors influencing former State FFA Officers' decisions to pursue careers outside agricultural education and the broader agricultural industry. Despite their deep engagement with the National FFA Organization and exposure to numerous agricultural career opportunities, many former officers do not transition into related professions. Guided by the expectancy-value theory, this research investigates the personal experiences, perceptions, and external factors that shape their career choices. การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา “ชุมชนแห่งการปฏิบัติดนตรีไทยบ้านครูเสนีย์ เกษมวัฒนากุล” ในฐานะบ้านครูดนตรีไทยในปัจจุบันที่เชื่อมโยงผู้คนหลากหลายวัยและอาชีพผ่านการเรียนรู้ซอสามสาย การรวมวงดนตรีไทย และการพบปะทางสังคม โดยใช้กรอบแนวคิดชุมชนแห่งการปฏิบัติ (Communities of Practice) เป็นกรอบสำคัญในการศึกษา 3 ประเด็น ได้แก่ 1) ศึกษาที่มา ขอบเขตขององค์ความรู้และเป้าหมายร่วมกันของชุมชนแห่งการปฏิบัติดนตรีไทยของครูเสนีย์ เกษมวัฒนากุล 2) ศึกษาลักษณะของความสัมพันธ์และการมีส่วนร่วมของสมาชิกในชุมชนแห่งการปฏิบัติดนตรีไทยของครูเสนีย์ เกษมวัฒนากุล 3) ศึกษากระบวนการเรียนรู้และแนวปฏิบัติร่วมภายในชุมชนแห่งการปฏิบัติดนตรีไทยของครูเสนีย์ เกษมวัฒนากุล ผู้วิจัยใช้ระเบียบวิธีวิจัย เชิงคุณภาพแบบชาติพันธุ์วรรณา (Ethnography) ในลักษณะกรณีศึกษา โดยศึกษาเอกสารและงานวิจัยที่เกี่ยวข้อง การสัมภาษณ์แบบกึ่งโครงสร้าง และเก็บข้อมูลภาคสนามด้วยการสังเกตแบบมีส่วนร่วมในการทำกิจกรรมทุกวันเสาร์ ณ บ้านครูเสนีย์ เกษมวัฒนากุล ผู้ให้ข้อมูลสำคัญ ได้แก่ ครูเสนีย์ เกษมวัฒนากุล และสมาชิกชุมชนจำนวน 25 คน วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลและสร้างข้อสรุปแบบอุปนัยผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) ด้านที่มา ขอบเขตองค์ความรู้และเป้าหมาย (Domain) ชุมชนก่อรูปขึ้นจาก การรวมตัวของผู้มีใจรักและสนใจในดนตรีไทย โดยมีซอสามสายเป็นองค์ความรู้หลัก และมีเป้าหมายร่วมกัน ในการอนุรักษ์ สืบสาน และต่อยอดดนตรีไทยผ่านการปฏิบัติและเรียนรู้ร่วมกัน 2) ด้านลักษณะของความสัมพันธ์และการมีส่วนร่วมของสมาชิก (Community) โครงสร้างความสัมพันธ์มีลักษณะเป็นกัลยาณมิตรที่เอื้ออาทร เกื้อกูล และให้ความสำคัญกับการอยู่ร่วมกัน โดยครูเสนีย์ทำหน้าที่เป็นศูนย์กลางของความปลอดภัยทางใจ และมีเครือข่ายผู้สนับสนุนทั้งภายในและภายนอกเป็นฐานสำคัญในการขับเคลื่อนกิจกรรม 3) ด้านกระบวนการเรียนรู้และแนวปฏิบัติร่วม (Practice) กระบวนการเรียนรู้เกิดผ่านการต่อเพลง การบรรเลงรวมวง การแลกเปลี่ยน การรับประทานอาหารร่วมกัน ตลอดจนการใช้สื่อสังคมออนไลน์และเวทีการแสดงเพื่อสร้าง อัตลักษณ์ ความภาคภูมิใจ และสร้างการรับรู้ต่อสังคม งานวิจัยนี้ได้นำเสนอภาพระบบนิเวศการเรียนรู้ที่ได้จากการถอดบทเรียน เพื่ออธิบายองค์ประกอบและเงื่อนไขในการจัดการดนตรีศึกษาแบบตามอัธยาศัยแบบหนึ่งในบริบทดนตรีไทยในปัจจุบัน ซึ่งสะท้อนการเปลี่ยนผ่านของบ้านดนตรีไทยในกรอบ บ้าน วัด วัง สู่รูปแบบ ชุมชนแห่งกัลยาณมิตรทางการปฏิบัติ ที่เน้นการเรียนรู้อย่างเปิดกว้างควบคู่กับการหล่อหลอมคุณธรรมจริยธรรม

ความชุกและความเสี่ยงต่อการบาดเจ็บในนักดนตรีซอไทย, พฤฒิธเรศ แสงศิรินาวิน

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มุ่งศึกษาปัญหาความผิดปกติของระบบกล้ามเนื้อและโครงกระดูกที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการเล่นดนตรี (Playing-Related Musculoskeletal Disorders: PRMDs) ในกลุ่มนักดนตรีซอไทย (ซออู้ ซอด้วง และซอสามสาย) ซึ่งเป็นกลุ่มที่มีความเสี่ยงสูงอีกทั้งยังมีข้อมูลเชิงประจักษ์ด้านการบาดเจ็บเฉพาะกลุ่มนักดนตรีซอในประเทศไทยค่อนข้างจำกัด งานวิจัยนี้จึงมีวัตถุประสงค์หลัก 2 ประการ คือ 1) เพื่อศึกษาความชุกของอาการบาดเจ็บที่เกิดขึ้นในนักดนตรีซอไทย และ 2) เพื่อประเมินความเสี่ยงทางกายรศาสตร์ต่อการบาดเจ็บจากท่าทางการบรรเลงใช้ระเบียบวิธีวิจัยพหุวิธีแบบภาคตัดขวาง (Cross-sectional Multimethod Design) โดยเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลผ่าน 3 เครื่องมือหลัก ได้แก่ 1) การสำรวจความชุกด้วยแบบสอบถามที่ประยุกต์จาก Nordic Questionnaire ในกลุ่มตัวอย่างนักดนตรีซอไทยจำนวน 61 คน 2) การสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกในกลุ่มผู้ที่มีประวัติการรักษาทางการแพทย์จำนวน 9 คน เพื่อวิเคราะห์ปัจจัยและผลกระทบเชิงลึก และ 3) การประเมินความเสี่ยงทางกายรศาสตร์ด้วยวิธี Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) ในกลุ่มตัวอย่างผู้เรียนจำนวน 19 คน เพื่อวิเคราะห์ท่าทางการบรรเลง พร้อมทั้งวิเคราะห์เปรียบเทียบความเสี่ยงกับท่าทางขณะนั่งเก้าอี้ ที่ปรากฏในกลุ่มตัวอย่างบางส่วน จำนวน 5 คน วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลความชุก (Prevalence) ด้วยสถิติเชิงพรรณนา วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลจากการสัมภาษณ์ด้วย thematic analysis และสรุประดับความเร่งด่วนในการปรับปรุงจากเกณฑ์ Action level ของ REBAผลการวิจัยพบว่า นักดนตรีซอไทยมีอัตราความชุกของอาการบาดเจ็บสูงถึงร้อยละ 98.4 โดยเฉพาะในกลุ่มนักดนตรีซอด้วงและซอสามสายที่พบประวัติอาการบาดเจ็บถึงร้อยละ 100 บริเวณร่างกายที่พบอาการบาดเจ็บสูงสุดขณะบรรเลง คือ นิ้วมือ (ร้อยละ 91.8) รองลงมาคือ ขา (ร้อยละ 85.2) และมือ (ร้อยละ 83.6) ทั้งนี้ "ขา" เป็นตำแหน่งที่พบระดับความเจ็บปวดรุนแรงที่สุด ซึ่งมีความสัมพันธ์โดยตรงกับวัฒนธรรมการนั่งพับเพียบผลการประเมินความเสี่ยงด้วย REBA ชี้ให้เห็นว่า ท่าทางการนั่งพับเพียบขณะบรรเลงมีความเสี่ยงอยู่ในระดับ "สูงมาก" (Very High Risk) มีคะแนนเฉลี่ย 11.00 คะแนน ซึ่งอยู่ในเกณฑ์ที่จำเป็นต้องได้รับการแก้ไขทันที สาเหตุหลักเกิดจากการนั่งพับเพียบและการรับน้ำหนักแบบคงที่ (Static Loading) …

วิทยานิพนธ์เรื่อง "การถ่ายทอดวิธีการสอนขับร้องแบบตะวันตกในประเทศไทยหลังการเปลี่ยนแปลงการปกครอง" มีวัตถุประสงค์การวิจัยเพื่อ 1) ศึกษาประวัติและพัฒนาการของการถ่ายทอดการขับร้องแบบตะวันตกในประเทศไทยหลังการเปลี่ยนแปลงการปกครอง (พ.ศ. 2475 – 2531) 2) สังเคราะห์เนื้อหา วิธีการสอน และเทคนิคการสอนขับร้องแบบตะวันตกจากเอกสารการสอนในสถาบันการศึกษาภาครัฐ จำนวน 20 เล่ม และ 3) ศึกษาบริบทนโยบายการศึกษาของภาครัฐที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการจัดการเรียนการสอนดนตรีและขับร้อง การวิจัยนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพผสานวิธีการทางประวัติศาสตร์ ตามขั้นตอนการศึกษาทางประวัติศาสตร์ 6 ขั้นตอน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ประกอบด้วย 1) แบบวิเคราะห์เนื้อหาเอกสาร จากเอกสารการในสถาบันการศึกษาภาครัฐ ครอบคลุมตำรา หนังสือ แบบเรียน คู่มือการสอน และเอกสารราชการ และ 2) แบบสัมภาษณ์กึ่งโครงสร้าง โดยเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลจากผู้ให้ข้อมูลสำคัญ ที่ผ่านการคัดเลือกตามเกณฑ์คัดเข้าและเกณฑ์คัดออก จำนวน 2 กลุ่ม รวม 22 คน ข้อมูลทั้งหมดถูกนำมาวิเคราะห์และสังเคราะห์เนื้อหา วิธีการสอน และเทคนิคการขับร้อง เพื่ออธิบายปรากฏการณ์ทางสังคมและนโยบายรัฐที่มีต่อพัฒนาการการจัดการเรียนการสอนวิชาขับร้อง ผลการวิจัยพบว่า พัฒนาการขององค์ความรู้ด้านการถ่ายทอดวิธีการสอนขับร้องแบบตะวันตกในประเทศไทย มิได้เป็นพัฒนาการเชิงวิชาการที่เกิดขึ้นอย่างอิสระ แต่เป็นผลผลิตที่ถูกกำกับโดยอุดมการณ์และนโยบายของรัฐในแต่ละยุคสมัย ซึ่งแบ่งออกเป็น 3 ยุคสำคัญ ได้แก่ 1) ยุคก่อร่างแห่งการวางรากฐาน (พ.ศ. 2475 – 2500) ภายใต้อิทธิพลของแผนการศึกษาแห่งชาติ พ.ศ. 2475 และพระราชบัญญัติประถมศึกษา พ.ศ. 2478 ที่รัฐมุ่งเน้นการสร้างมาตรฐานพลเมืองแบบ “พุทธิศึกษา” ส่งผลให้เกิด “กระบวนทัศน์เน้นทฤษฎี” โดยมีพระเจนดุริยางค์เป็นตัวแทนหลัก เนื้อหาจึงมุ่งเน้นการอ่านเขียนโน้ตและทฤษฎีดนตรีมากกว่าเทคนิคการขับร้องเพื่อตอบสนองการวัดผลที่ชัดเจน 2) ยุคเข้าสู่ระบบการศึกษา (พ.ศ. 2501 – 2515) เป็นยุคแห่งการขยายตัวตามแผนการศึกษาแห่งชาติ พ.ศ. 2503 ที่เน้นการพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจและการผลิตครู ทำให้เกิดช่องว่างทางวิธีสอนที่องค์ความรู้เดิมไม่สามารถตอบสนองได้ นำไปสู่ 3) ยุคพัฒนาการ (พ.ศ. 2516 – 2531) ซึ่งเป็นยุคที่สถาบันอุดมศึกษาเข้มแข็งและมีการตอบสนองต่อแผนการศึกษาแห่งชาติ พ.ศ. 2520 ที่เน้นทั้งความเป็นเลิศและความเท่าเทียม ก่อให้เกิดการขยายตัวขององค์ความรู้เป็น 2 ทิศทาง คือ …
