The strategy of experiencing AI is centered around AI exploration and reflection in a doctoral-level technology course. Throughout the course, students were encouraged to use AI to complete assignments. However, they were also asked to critically reflect on the impact of AI use on their academic development and understanding of the coursework. Through discussion, reflection, and exploration, students learned to navigate the complexities of AI in a way that aligns with academic values and professional expectations.

This paper proposes using a ChatGPT-generated algorithm for an indigenous game to mediate the acquisition of computational thinking skills. The paper seeks to answer the question: How can the ChatGPT-mediated algorithm for indigenous games foster the acquisition of computational thinking skills? Using a Participatory Action Research approach, 19 collaborators from 11 African countries gathered 185 indigenous games. The paper focuses on one of those games that is played in all 11 countries. The paper concludes that involving collaborators, who are indigenous members of their communities and have experiential knowledge of the game, led to their acquisition of computational thinking skills.

This mixed methods study explored the impact of PocketLab interactive mobile sensors on science content knowledge among undergraduate students in an algebra-based physics laboratory course. The study also examined students' perspectives and experiences using PocketLab to learn class concepts. While no statistically significant differences were found between the control and treatment groups for items evaluating definitions and conceptual mastery, the control group outperformed the treatment group on problem-solving items. This difference may be due to the alignment of traditional Vernier technology experiments with the analytical problem-solving approach emphasized in lectures. Choices made during video game gameplay set the stories told in that media apart from other media. Narrative-affecting choices have existed since the earliest games, from character creation in role-playing games to performance-based narrative changes in Metroid to morality-based choices in Ogre Battle. Open educational resources (OER) have been praised for revolutionizing education. However, practitioners and instructors battle keeping OER updated and measuring their impact on students’ performance. Few studies have analyzed the improvement of OER over time in relation to achievement. This longitudinal study uses learning analytics through the open-source Resource Inspection, Selection, and Enhancement (RISE) analysis framework to assess the impact of continuous improvement cycles on students’ outcomes. Panel data (i.e., performance and use) from 190 learning objectives of OER of an introductory sociology course were analyzed using a hierarchical linear model. Collaborating with Dr. JeVaughn Lancaster virtually, Lesh and Lancaster shared data from a recent study examining teachers' perceptions of AI in academic research. This study sought to explore a deeper understanding of the lived experience of students who underwent remote learning during the COVID-19 pandemic, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). Following the qualitative phenomenology research paradigm, seven demographically diverse participants took part from different universities. Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) was employed to explore how participants made sense of their experiences. A rigorous analysis of students’ reflections and online interviews revealed three overarching themes: constructive experience, deconstructive experience, and futuristic sense-making of remote learning practice. The research used a mixed-methods approach, incorporating surveys and focus groups with parents and teachers, to explore using the mobile communication app ParentSquare. The findings reveal a generally positive perception of ParentSquare among parents, who appreciate its convenience, centralized communication features, and ability to connect with teachers. Online video conferencing platforms, such as Zoom, are widely used for virtual classes. Zoom platforms bring flexibility and convenience but also contribute to fatigue, which is called “Zoom fatigue.” The purpose of this study is to investigate Zoom fatigue among international students at U.S. universities and its links to virtual classroom communication in the field of education. The study investigated how English competency and course engagement affected Zoom fatigue in virtual classes experienced by 152 international students. The adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) in academia is an emerging field of interest. However, there is scant literature that explores the phenomenon of AI adoption by graduate students in doctoral education. This study employs collaborative autoethnography to explore and better understand the nuances of how doctoral students experience AI technologies within academic pursuits. A critical analysis of data revealed that the collective researcher-participant experiences offered the primary overarching theme of adoption strategy, with four distinct subthemes: adoption fear, adoption resistance, adoption feasibility, and adoption ethics. Prolonged sitting is associated with higher health issues across all age groups, particularly affecting students’ classroom behaviors and academic achievement. In this paper, we review the psychological research on the relationship between posture and cognition, focusing on how students learn while sitting versus standing. Our findings show that there is no clear evidence favoring one posture over another in terms of cognitive outcomes. Meanwhile, studies highlight the health and physiological benefits of standing desks. Dynamic postural configurations can encourage movement and support collaboration among students and between students and teachers. This study investigated the Learning style preferences of Egyptian EFL learners post COVID-19. It aims to examine differences emerging in multimodal and bimodal learning preferences based on demographic variables of age and gender and consider the cultural educational context in Egypt during and post the pandemic era.
