This paper discusses an educational activity program for the indigenous people of Bajo in Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia, aiming to improve parenting knowledge among young mothers. It addresses issues related to their identity as indigenous people, their self-esteem, and their way of upbringing of children. The issue of low self-esteem among the Bajo community often leads to adverse effects on their learning motivation, future orientation, and exclusivity, particularly in children. Literacy influences all aspects of life. Unfortunately, a rising number of students struggle with reading and spelling, which can result in enormous educational barriers. Difficulties in literacy accompanied by learning-related problem behavior can create additional risk factors. Effective interventions for these students should consider individual needs and focus on multiple components of learning simultaneously. Various interventions with supervisees, which are aimed for supervisee reflective growth and client beneficence, are also discussed. Sexuality, Religiousness, And Mental Health Among Sexual Minority Latter-Day Saints In Other-Gender Relationships, G. Tyler Lefevor

To guide therapists working with sexual minority individuals considering entering in an other-gender relationship, we present data from 82 sexual minority, current Latter-day Saints in other-gender relationships, 155 sexual minority, former Latter-day Saints in same-gender relationships, and 123 cisgender/heterosexual, current Latter-day Saints in other-gender relationships. Results suggest that relative to cisgender/heterosexual individuals, sexual minority individuals (both in same- and other-gender relationships), report being less happy in their relationship, viewing porn and masturbating more often, and experiencing greater religious struggles. A middle school campus in a Southeast urban community used a Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA) Cycle, an inquiry method in improvement science, to address high exclusionary discipline rates by implementing Social Emotional Learning (SEL) strategies and Restorative Practices (RP) to transform school culture. A reform to a comprehensive discipline program was developed to minimize the amount of exclusionary discipline outcomes (in-school suspension [ISS], out-of- school suspension [OSS], and expulsion) among students while increasing student attendance rates, student achievement, and teacher retention. This is a qualitative phenomenographic study that uses the theoretical frameworks of Culturally Sustaining Pedagogy (CSP) (Paris, 2012), Intergroup Contact Theory (Allport 1954), and Social Constructivism (Smagorinsky, 2007) to evaluate how 7^th grade students at a Title I middle school in the Southeastern United States experience the phenomenon of peer relationships in the context of a CSP writing unit. Students created, peer edited, and shared multimodal “Where I’m From” (Lyon, n.d.) poems in intentionally created groups. The purpose of this study is to investigate and describe the present and past experiences of sibling play for siblings of children with autism. Narrative inquiry will provide participants a place for their voices, emotions, and actions to be heard, in hopes that we may glean better insight into seemingly invisible features of daily play within the sibling relationships. Because daily play is such an integral part of shaping social interactions, behaviors, and perceptions, it is important to better understand how siblings experience these potentially non-typical play experiences.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of four different models (bifactor, CTC(M-1), CTCU and unidimensional) as to optimal model selection when the wording effect associated with negatively worded items was present. A Monte Carlo simulation study was conducted to compare model-data fit and accuracy in parameter estimates of the four models. An individual's trait-like thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are characteristic patterns that occur across time, whereas state-like iterations of these variables are isolated to specific moments in time. Although highly correlated, variables at the trait and state levels measure different phenomena and should be examined separately. In this longitudinal study, we examine the disaggregation of trait and state-level psychological inflexibility among college students. Specifically, we investigated which psychological inflexibility subprocess would significantly predict positive affect, negative affect, and meaningful activity, both at the trait and state-levels. This study aims to investigate the extent to which students have misconceptions about equality, where the equal sign is the focus. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with a case study approach. A total of 35 students in the city of Bandung became participants in this study. The results of the study reported that there were several misconceptions such as closing, using all numbers in the equation, string operations, and “pindah ruas”.

The objective of this research is to investigate variances in the patterns of the correlation between academic motivation, procrastination, and GPA among students from different universities in Surabaya. This research was conducted using a correlational method involving 1,060 students from four years: 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020 (n respectively 209, 187, 232, 432). The sampling method was accidental random sampling from February to May 2021. The results showed that GPA, academic motivation, and procrastination fluctuated differently depending on the year of study. This study attempts to investigate EFL teachers’ strategies in motivating low-achieving learners in online classes from the perspective of twenty-five English teachers and thirty low-achieving learners. The data were collected through a questionnaire and a semi-structured interview. The result of the study revealed that there were some foremost motivational teaching strategies applied by EFL teachers to deal with low-achieving learners during online classes; monitoring students’ activities, showing the importance of English, clarifying difficult topics, caring about students’ learning progress, and explaining topics clearly and specifically.

Although many sexual and gender minorities (SGMs) consider themselves religious or spiritual, the impact of this religiousness or spirituality (RS) on their health is poorly understood. We introduce the religious/spiritual stress and resilience model (RSSR) to provide a robust framework for understanding the variegated ways that RS influences the health of SGMs. The RSSR bridges existing theorizing on minority stress, structural stigma, and RS-health pathways to articulate the circumstances under which SGMs likely experience RS as health promoting or health damaging.
