Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melakukan uji perbandingan motivasi berolahraga antara atlet atletik dan atlet tinju di Pusat Pendidikan dan Latihan Pelajar Provinsi Nusa Tengara Timur dengan melibatkan 26 orang sampel (13 atlet atletik dan 13 atlet tinju). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain komparatif. Data penelitian dikumpulkan menggunakan The Sport Motivational Scale (SMS) yang dikembangkan oleh Luc G. Pelletier, Michelle Fortier, Robert J. Vallerand, Nathalle M. Briere, Kim M. Tuson, dan Marc R. Blais pada tahun 1995. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keyakinan diri dan hasil belajar guling depan pada siswa putri kelas X Madrasah Aliyah Sunan Pandanaran melalui integrasi latihan imagery pada pembelajaran Penjasorkes. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri empat tahapan yaitu: persiapan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Pappasang is a Mandar Tribe cultural product which contains advice. This advice has a characteristic describes the tribe identity of Mandar Tribe. This study aimed to examine the social identity of the Mandar Tribe adolescents in Pappasang as well as the foundation of guidance material. The qualitative study of gadamerian hermeneutics interpreted the social identity of Mandar Tribe adolescents in Pappasang. The findings showed the social identity are: empathy; remind each other; mutual help; solidarity; keep the disgrace on a secret; obedient; generous; democratic. Then, the social identity in Pappasang constructed to be material for guidance and counseling.

This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of bibliotherapy to improve three factors of resilience, namely: aspects of I Have; I Am; and I Can, for orphaned students who live in orphanages. The research subjects were 21 orphaned students selected using purposive sampling technique. The quantitative research used the latin square method and statistical analysis paired t-test to analyze the data. The analysis technique of the instrument validity use Spearman. Meanwhile, the analysis technique of instrument reliability used Alpha Cronbach. The results showed that bibliotherapy can significantly improve the three factors of resilience.

The study aimed to determine the authoritative parenting; gender; gender and the influence of authoritative parenting significantly toward big five personality. This quantitative research with descriptive analysis techniques of Multivariate Analysis of Covariance (MANCOVA) test involved 62 students of eleventh grade of Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 2 Kupang as a respondent. Data collection technique used the scale instrument of Parental Authority Questionnaire and the International Personality Item Pool. The study aimed to develop CSFCM to improve student self-regulated learning. CSFCM is an application of solution-focused counseling integrated with creative arts. The developmental research consisted of three stages: (1) identify the self-regulated learning level; (2) formulating a hypothetical draft of CSFCM to improve student self-regulated learning; and (3) conducting product feasibility testing by experts and practitioners. Data analysis technique used quantitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that the CSFCM which consisting five stages of counseling was categorized as feasible to be implement in the schools.

This five week investigation determined a relationship exists between parental involvement and reading achievement. Students were separated into two groups, Group A and Group B. Group A contained students who received below the average amount of parental involvement points obtained and Group B contained students who received above the average amount of parental involvement points obtained. Students in Group B made a 1.14 text level gain above students in Group A. Group B also made a 6.34 sight word gain over Group A as well as a 5.57 oral reading fluency gain over students in Group A. This dissertation study extends on current understandings of gesture and embodied interaction with the eco-social environment in second language development (SLD) while introducing new aspects of movement analysis through dynamical modeling. To understand the role of embodiment during learning activities, a second language learning task has been selected. Dyads consisting of a non-native English-speaking student and a native English-speaking tutor were video recorded during writing consultations centered on class assignments provided by the student. Background

Transcutaneous vagus nerve stimulation (tVNS) is a new, non-invasive technique being investigated as an intervention for a variety of clinical disorders, including epilepsy and depression. It is thought to exert its therapeutic effect by increasing central norepinephrine (NE) activity, but the evidence supporting this notion is limited.

Objective

In order to test for an impact of tVNS on psychophysiological and hormonal indices of noradrenergic function, we applied tVNS in concert with assessment of salivary alpha amylase (SAA) and cortisol, pupil size, and electroencephalograph (EEG) recordings.

Innovation occurred by choosing team members who were committed to a creative team environment. Team creativity online was strengthened by providing opportunities for the global virtual team to meet in person. Alternative brainstorming methods outside the scheduled team meetings also added to the overall innovation of the team. This research aimed to study the relationships between students’ future goals (FGs) and their immediate achievement goal orientations (AGOs) among 5733 Singaporean secondary school students (M age = 14.18, SD = 1.26; 53% boys). To this end, we hypothesized that the relationships between like valenced FGs and AGOs (both intrinsic or both extrinsic) will be stronger than those of opposite valenced FGs and AGOs (intrinsic–extrinsic) and tested two alternative models: Model A positing the prediction of AGOs by FGs and Model B positing the prediction of FGs by AGOs.
