There is much the MENA/Gulf region can teach regarding the ever-narrowing hegemonic perspectives in the literature - from selfhood, agency, empowerment, women, collectivism, intersectionality to consumption and business practice.
This paper focuses, briefly, on several very large areas of scholarship to consider the issues raised and the opportunities uncovered, as they pertain to the region. Advertising’s purpose is to create a state of mind conducive to purchase. This study seeks to identify, measure, and understand the intrinsic motivators communicated within print advertisements and quantify their intensities. The theory is that ads with more intense motivator content - distributed somewhat evenly across all four quadrants of the Whole Brain®Model - will be more effective in influencing that state of mind.This research is the first step in identifying, quantifying, and visualizing motivators communicated within print advertisements. The study analyzed 15 print ads found in contemporary magazines.

The purpose of this study is to find out the availability of the local dishes of the city of Batman in the menus of the accommodation establishments. Therefore, at first, the local dishes of this city were compiled via document analysis technique. As a result of this compilation, for the study, semi-structured interviews were conducted with the managers or head chefs of 13 accommodation establishments located in Batman. Purpose of the Study: This study aims to improve the implementation of live cases (client-based projects) in marketing classrooms. Live cases involve direct interaction between companies and students and can be valuable pedagogical tools improving student learning and skill development. The clean beauty industry has gained increasing popularity in the last couple of years. This has spurred the development of many brands and impacted what consumers look for in their products. This Note engages in the existing conversation in the beauty industry pertaining to "clean" products by showing that the lack of interference from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to set definitional criteria for what constitute ''clean" products has resulted in an increase in the commercialization of health-conscious consumer beliefs based on ambiguous and misleading information.
