This report from the (US) States Senate Committee on Interior and Insular Affairs, dated November 29, 1973 was written to accompany US Senate Bill 1468 which sought to establish the Knife River Indian Villages National Historic Site in North Dakota. This report seeks to amend US Senate Bill 1468 to specify funding limits for acquisition of land and for development of the historic site. US Senate Bill 1468 was passed by the US Senate as amended on November 30, 1973. This legislation was reintroduced as part of an omnibus bill that established six new national historic sites. Excavations at Korucutepe have brought to light a fortification wall of a type common in Anatolia during the second millennium B.c. The wall had been exposed in places by bulldozing operations for a government farm. Excavation revealed a plan consisting of a curtain wall with a double stone foundation (see fig. 7). Square towers project at intervals where the direction of the wall changes. Adjacent to two of the towers is a passageway, one on the south side of the mound, one on the northeast, leading out from the city. There is no indication of any cross walls, or casemates, …

This two-page copy of an after action report on the Wounded Knee occupation was sent on May 23, 1973 to the Army's Director of Military Support as a supplement to a previously submitted report. It details the potential deployment of the 82nd Airborne Division to support the seizure of Wounded Knee by force, the complexities and optics involved in this strategy, and the eventual negotiation with the participants of the occupation. The report notes the outcomes achieved by members of the American Indian Movement including the reorganization of the Bureau of Indian Affairs.

It discusses the history of United States imperialism and intervention in Nicaragua as well as prominent figures in the fight against this aggression. Fonseca seeks solidarity with the American Indian Movement.
