This thesis examines the local and transregional networks of women in Mecca during the ninth/fifteenth century, as represented in the biographical dictionaries of al-Sakhāwī (d. 902/1497), Ibn Fahd (d. 885/1480), and al-Fāsī (d. 832/1429). It combines qualitative and quantitative methods in order to analyze the family, knowledge, and travels networks of women in late medieval Mecca and the Mamluk empire. It argues that Meccan women’s social and intellectual roles extended beyond their families, to other families, scholars, and regions. This study focuses on evaluating the capabilities of Instagram translation feature in translating Arabic Islamic poetry, a literary genre rich in linguistic nuances and cultural context. Employing a qualitative methodology, this research conducts a comprehensive comparative analysis between the automatic translations produced by Instagram and manual translations done by experts. The findings reveal that, despite being useful, Instagram's translation feature often fails to fully capture the essence of Arabic Islamic poetry, with significant errors in understanding context and language nuances. This thesis investigates the perceptions of Arabic as a Foreign Language (AFL) students and teachers regarding the influence of eight textual features on reading comprehension. These features are: vowelization, word patterns, roots, vocabulary, case endings, word order, punctuation marks, and text organization. It also investigates reading comprehension strategies employed by both groups to overcome comprehension challenges associated with these features. Data were collected from 102 AFL students and 26 AFL teachers through questionnaires, and semi-structured interviews were conducted with 6 students and 11 teachers. This study explores attitudes and perceptions surrounding the Qassimi dialect within Saudi Arabia. It addresses two primary questions: What are the attitudes of Qassimi speakers toward their own dialect? and What are the perceptions of non-Qassimi Saudi citizens regarding the Qassimi dialect in terms of stereotypes and its speakers? To investigate these questions, the research employed two population-specific surveys—one for Qassimi speakers and another for non-Qassimi participants—alongside semi-structured interviews with selected Qassimi individuals to gain deeper qualitative insights. هدفت المقال للكشف عن الكفايات التدريسية وعلاقتها بكفايات التعليم الدامج لدى معلمي المرحلة الأساسية، اعتمدت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي. وكانت اداة الدراسة هي الاستبانة. بلغت عينة الدراسة (107) من معلمي المرحلة الأساسية بمديرية تربية العقبة. وتوصَّلت الدراسة إلى أنَّ نسبة الكفايات التدريسية لدى معلمي المرحلة الأساسية التي بلغت (80.1%) وهو مستوى "مرتفع"، وأنَّ نسبة التعليم الدامج لدى معلمي المرحلة الأساسية التي بلغت (77%) وهو مستوى "مرتفع"، وأنَّ معامل الارتباط بيرسون بين الكفايات التدريسية والتعليم الدامج يسأوي (0.499) وهو معامل ارتباط إيجابي مما يعني أنَّ العلاقة طردية، ولا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى دلالة (0.05 ≥ a) في الكفايات …
