Developing The Nomological Network Of Perceived Corporate Affinity For Technology: A Three Essay Dissertation, David Earl Fleming

Technology is changing the face of both the sales and service domains. Honebein and Cammarano (2006) note that properly implemented self-service technologies serve dual purposes of decreasing firm overhead costs, while simultaneously engaging the customer in a way encourages the co-create of value for both parties. To get these benefits stakeholders must be willing to adopt and use the technologies that are available.
Traditionally, this has lead to the research question "How do firms do this?" However, according to a recent article by Woodall, Colby and Parasuraman (2007), consumers are now demanding more technology-based options and becoming more technologically savvy. …

Finding aid only for Manuscripts Collection 294. Two letter press books containing outgoing letters from the firm, E. A. Porter & Bros. of Bowling Green, Kentucky. These letters deal almost exclusively with the manufacture and marketing of a piece of agricultural equipment called the "corn cob crusher." A small amount of correspondence also documents Mr. Porter's personal agricultural pursuits.

Finding aid and scans (Click on "Additional Files" below) for Manuscripts Small Collection 2102. Draft weaving pattern for a "Snail Trail" coverlet originally included in a 1781 letter from a young soldier to his sweetheart in western Virginia (present day Kentucky). The pattern was a memento given at a 1977 weaving convention. Distributed by Bousman's Little Loomhouse, Louisville, Kentucky. Includes an inscription on the verso from Bousman.

"Whether Vietnam, Iraq, or now Afghanistan, wars come and go, but the real battle is a philosophic one between two sects of conservatives. In The Forty Years War: The Rise and Fall of the Neocons from Nixon to Obama, authors Len Colodny and Tom Shachtman challenge readers to examine the role of a little-known Pentagon figure named Fritz G.A. Kraemer. Colodny and Shachtman argue that Kraemer was the leading intellectual behind what became known as the neo-conservative movement, witnessed by the fact that Kraemer influenced so many high-ranking conservative figures over the course of six decades."

Lake Salt: A Creative Thesis, Erica Lindsay Plummer
Theses and Dissertations
This collection of short stories explores the different ways in which women experience suffering. The narrative focuses on the daily lives of women who have undergone some type of heartbreak. While the stories occasionally include the incident which leads to despair, the collection is more concerned with the way women function after a personal tragedy. The stories show the grace of people who continue to move forward when their lives are filled with suffering. Sexuality enters the stories and exposes both the triumph and destructive nature of sexuality. A critical introduction which explains how complication and beauty amplify story proceeds …
