It’s been seven long months since our world was turned upside down with the onslaught of COVID-19. We all remember clearly the chaos of March 2020 transforming our in-person, on-campus instruction to remote models; frantically securing technology for students, faculty, and staff to work remotely and standing up phone and videoconference operations for all of our support and administrative services. Our campus faculty and staff worked incredibly hard to pivot teaching and learning to support students’ successful completion of the Spring 2020 semester. This study explored the anti-black lived experiences of 9 senior-level Black men who are administrators at Historically White Institutions. Black critical theory (BlackCrit) and theory of marginality and mattering are the guiding frameworks used to examine the lived experiences of the Black administrators. The purpose of this study was to reveal the ways that Black senior-level administrators process, navigate, and make meaning of their lived experiences and anti-blackness at HWIs. The purpose of this case study is to discover how the characteristics of a courageous follower are presented in the work of support staff in student involvement offices at select Midwest community colleges. This qualitative case study is relevant to grounded theory and provides a method to cultivate concepts from data to further recognize the representation of courageous followership characteristics. Unwillingness and negative attitude of librarians was observed as a factor that hinders users from accessing information resources in most developing country libraries. This negative attitude could be associated with the demographic factors of the librarians hence this study investigated demographic factors as predictors of career commitment of librarians in South-South universities, Nigeria. The properties of silicon carbide layers deposited to restore spent resources and unusable silicon heaters are investigated. The reasons for the low working life of heaters restored by applying only layers of silicon carbide are clarified. The possibility of restoring and increasing the working life of unusable silicon heaters by applying sandwich layers of silicon carbide and molybdenum disilicide is shown. In the article, mountain-brown soils differ from other soils in their development, genesis, evolution, chemical properties, especially mechanical composition, as well as many other properties and characteristics. These soils are considered as a key factor in their separation from soils, especially with their rockiness, humus content, carbonates, and rock distribution. The results obtained from the point of view of mechanical composition state that mountain brown soils are soils with medium and heavy mechanical composition.
