The project area consisted of two polygon boundaries, Area A and Area B, located southwest of the San Jacinto Monument. Area A was further subdivided into three sections for ease of analysis.

Montgomery Water Main project located near the City of San Antonio in Bexar County, Texas. The project will entail the installation of approximately 1,600 feet (ft) (488 meters [m]) of new water line within a 40-ft (12.2-m) wide easement. The project area will extend along the western side of W.T. Montgomery Road and will then cross U.S. Highway 90 (US 90). Investigations occurred along FM 1463 between Interstate Highway (IH) 10 and FM 359. (HDR) to conduct an intensive archaeological survey prior to the installation of the proposed North McKinney Pipeline in McKinney, Collin County, Texas. The pipeline will consist of 23,918 linear feet (ft) of pipeline, with a diameter measuring between 72 inches (in) and 84 in, along an approximately 4.53-mile (mi) long easement corridor. Of this total, approximately 3.28 mi have been previously surveyed by Geo-Marine, Inc. in 2009 (Tiné 2009). This report presents the results of an extensive photographic survey of recreational boulder climbing routes (i.e., bouldering problems) and enhanced documentation of Native American rock imagery at Hueco Tanks State Park and Historic Site in El Paso County, Texas, by Versar, Inc., for Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. Fieldwork for this project was conducted between March and June 2016. Based on the two most comprehensive bouldering guidebooks available for Hueco Tanks, approximately 1,901 published bouldering problems exist within the park. Between 2004 and 2010, Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) archeologists conducted reconnaissance level archeological investigations of selected trails at Big Bend Ranch State Park, Brewster and Presidio Counties, Texas. The purpose of the investigations was to provide cultural resources information that would be beneficial in developing a multi-use trail system in the park that would avoid both direct and potential secondary impacts to archeological sites, when possible, or provide recommendations for mitigative measures, when necessary. These investigations also provide the baseline data needed for conducting future conditions assessments on these sites.

Archeological testing of the Fivemile Crossing site, 41MN55, was conducted by Prewitt and Associates, Inc., for the Texas Department of Transportation in November 2006. Located on an alluvial terrace along the San Saba River about 4.3 miles west of Menard, Texas, the site consists of a shallowly buried Late Prehistoric or Protohistoric occupation. Eighteen hand-excavated test units sampled 13.5 m2 from two very narrow strips of intact deposits within the right of way on both sides of FM 2092. The excavations recovered chipped stone artifacts and bone-tempered pottery from a single occupation zone attributed to the Toyah culture. What remains …
