二零一九年毫無疑問是香港歷史上的一個重要轉折。社會運動席捲了全港十八區，持續了大半年方告平息。運動的出現難以歸咎單一因素，而是由日積月累的民怨爆發而成。在一九年後，該如何展望將來、該如何回顧歷史、該如何理解現在，便成了更為重要而複雜的問題，而這些也是許多香港作家寫作的核心。

本論文正是嘗試以文學創作的方法，從側面回應上述問題。論文以散文的形式，共六篇短散文合集而成。每篇各選香港一個具代表性的地方，或寫人或寫景，刻劃香港的社會問題與現況。六篇當中首三篇側重於對社會問題的探討，第四、五篇則描寫社會運動前後的香港，第六篇嘗試整體地回顧香港歷史，以此記錄我們身處的時代。

「我」是一個思覺失調病患，與家人關係疏遠，也沒甚麼朋友，本想着到德國作交換生逃離香港的一切，卻不想一切美夢因疫情而中斷。「我」不能再逃避，被迫面對。從隔離開始，「我」的幻覺愈趨嚴重，各種詭異的聲響與黑影逐漸使過去使「我」所畏懼的回憶浮現起來，迫使「我」正視問題。而「她」是貼體的解語花，總在「我」需要的時候伸出援手，陪「我」渡過難關。「她」看似陽光開朗，家庭和諧，好似世上一切的煩惱紛擾都與「她」無關一樣。然而「她」只是從來不透露自己的情緒，實際是與「我」一樣深受精神病困擾。故事圍繞二人發展，希望帶出不一樣的精神病人視角，其實他們不像我們想像的那樣瘋，「我」和「她」也與大家一般無異，生長於普通家庭、如常讀書、生活。然而我們一般不易察覺他們，才釀成最後的悲劇。

從英語到粵語 : 論《小婦人》的在地化及其原因, Chui Yee Lo

露意莎・梅・奧爾科特（Louisa May Alcott, 1832-1888）所著的美國小說《小婦人》（Little Women）於1869年正式面世，出版後廣受讀者喜愛，更被收入世界經典名著中。著作其後在1917年首度改編成同名默片電影，及後多次搬上大銀幕，其中較為人熟悉是1933年由喬治．丘克（George Cukor）執導的有聲電影。其後，首部彩色電影在16年後由梅爾文・勒羅伊（Mervyn LeRoy）執導。距離原著出版約一個世紀後，香港首部改編《小婦人》的粵語片在1957年由華僑電影企業公司出品，電影由吳回執導、程剛編劇，為公司一周年紀念作。

一九五O年代的香港影業蓬勃發展，取材多元，基於市場需求及當時的政治與文化環境，跨文化改編的電影恆河沙數，《小婦人》便屬一例。有論者認為改編電影的藍本不限於原著小說，更包括外國的改編電影。當作品經歷從某地改編到某地，作品的時代特色、文化背景、人文日常等必然與新地不盡相同，由此編導在接受和重新詮釋外國的文學作品時，便需要將作品「在地化（localization）」，以貼合當地人文特性。過去亦有不少關於改編作品的研究，例如電影研究者易以聞就曾探討《小婦人》由美國到香港電影的改編過程，分析原著與本地文化的融合和呈現。然而有關研究多探討香港電影如何改編原著，較少論述有關改動中在地化與當代語境的關係。

有見外國原著小說《小婦人》具代表性，而且由世界文學的文本到粵語改編電影，亦屬跨文化改編的典型例子。本文遂以前人研究為基礎，開展有關跨文化改編與在地化的討論，除探討文本與改編電影的異同，亦會結合五十年代香港環境，分析粵語改編電影在佈局、主題、人物和結局上的改編如何體現在地化，並推測當代語境與作品在地化的關係。

鴿子代表和平、聖潔、快樂，可是在程舟舟夢裏的鴿子，卻一點都不和平。每夜夢回，她總能看見那隻黑鴿的鳥啄是如何的鋒利。

葉知秋與程舟舟相識於大學時期，是形影不離的好朋友，可惜在一場爭吵後，兩人日漸疏遠，其後更是失去了聯絡。畢業後，程舟舟在酒店裏任職宴會廳的領班，某日下班後，收到了來自大學同學的電話，邀請她出席同學聚會。這一通電話看似平平無奇，卻又帶着程舟舟昔日逃脫不開的夢捲土重來。夢愈來愈真實了，那兩隻鴿子、那個黑裙女子，還有那一地的血紅⋯⋯

To explore the ways in which modern Chinese and Americans express their disagreement in intercultural communication and to reveal the reasons for their usage from the perspectives of sociolinguistics and persuasive communication and with the rapport management as the theoretical framework, this paper focuses on the discourse analysis of implicit disagreement expressions between 11 pairs of Chinese and American college students. The analysis of the four-month communication corpus reveals that Chinese and American students tend to use implicit disagreement when they disagree with each other and there are more similarities than differences in the usage of implicit disagreement. Previous sources have described the dresses, Chinese history, and Chinese fashion aesthetics, and have questioned why many people wear these dresses today. This article investigates evolving expectations for Chinese individuals to clean, cook, eat, and nourish in their private kitchens, and how certain diseases became urgent touchstones for the change in public health priorities. Reformists promoted personal responsibility and popular interest in kitchen and dietary hygiene, which increased as Chinese audiences became exposed to globally- circulating ideas of sanitation and nutrition in individual homes. Furthermore, this occurred in tandem with increased institutionalized government developments for improved infrastructure. The travel restrictions implemented to limit the spread of the COVID19 pandemic prevent fieldworkers from collecting ethnographic data in the Pacific. The possibility of collecting first-hand data about indigenous perspectives on the recent growth of the Chinese presence and influence is therefore limited too. January 7, 2021 marked the 42nd anniversary of the Vietnamese army and allied forces of Cambodian general Hun Sen overthrowing Pol Pot. Although this invasion took a mere two weeks, the consequences lasted for more than ten years with huge losses for both the Vietnamese and Cambodians. After 1975, Indochina has gone through many changes with different regimes; its geography, however, has remained the same. Demographic researchers have identified five geographic regions around the world with unusually high proportions of nonagenarians and centenarians. Studies of these longevity hotspots or “blue zones” are now trying to distill lessons for how people everywhere can live long and active lives with minimal impediments. In this study, I compare lifestyle observations and longevity prescriptions derived from studies of blue zone centenarians with long-standing recommendations for the practice of nourishing life (yangsheng) to achieve a long and healthy life in the Daoist tradition. The objective of this study is to examine the types of motivation of Thai­-Korean language learners and to find which type of motivation is dominant for Thai people learning Korean language. An online survey conducted between October and November 2021 collected 155 Thai-Korean language learners from two Korean language institutes certified by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, namely Chiang Mai King Sejong Institute, and King Sejong Institute in Bangkok. วิทยานิพนธ์นี้มุ่งศึกษาความเหมือนและความต่างของภาษาจีนปัจจุบันและภาษาญี่ปุ่นใน 3 ประเด็น คือ การศึกษาเปรียบเทียบรูปอักษรจีน การศึกษาเปรียบเทียบเสียงอ่านของอักษรจีนใน ภาษาจีนและภาษาญี่ปุ่น และการศึกษาเปรียบเทียบความหมายของศัพท์ใน ทั้งสองภาษา เพื่อ สังเคราะห์ข้อได้เปรียบและข้อพึงระวังสำหรับผู้เรียนภาษาจีนที่รู้ภาษาญี่ปุ่นเทียบเท่าการสอบวัด ระดับความรู้ภาษาญี่ปุ่น (JLPT) ระดับ N2 งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ (1) วิเคราะห์เปรียบเทียบ รูปอักษรจีนที่ปรากฏใน HSK ระดับ 5 และ JLPT ระดับ N2 (2) ศึกษาระบบเสียงในภาษาจีนกลาง ปัจจุบันกับภาษาญี่ปุ่น และสร้างคู่เทียบเสียงอ่านอักษรจีนระหว่างภาษาทั้งสอง (3) วิเคราะห์ เปรียบเทียบความหมายของศัพท์ภาษาจีนและภาษาญี่ปุ่นที่ปรากฏใน HSK ระดับ 5 และ JLPT ระดับ N2 และ (4) สังเคราะห์ข้อได้เปรียบและข้อพึงระวังในการเรียนภาษาจีนของผู้เรียนต่างชาติที่มีความรู้ ภาษาญี่ปุ่นเทียบเท่า JLPT ระดับ N2 ผลการศึกษาพบว่า (1) อักษรคันจิมีรูปร่างเหมือนกับคู่อักษรจีนประยุกต์เป็นจำนวนมากที่สุด (2) สามารถสร้างคู่เทียบเสียงอ่านอักษรจีนระหว่างภาษาจีนกลางปัจจุบันกับภาษาญี่ปุ่นที่เชื่อมโยงกัน ได้ แต่เป็นระบบที่ไม่สมบูรณ์ จำเป็นต้องใช้แนวคิดอื่นที่ปรากฏในขั้นตอนการวิจัย คือแนวคิดการเดา เสียงด้วยระบบฐานกรณ์ และประเด็นเสียงพยางค์ท้าย -n (3) ศัพท์ที่มีความหมายตรงกันทั้งใน ภาษาจีนและภาษาญี่ปุ่นมีจำนวนมากที่สุด และ (4) ข้อได้เปรียบในการเรียนภาษาจีนของผู้เรียน ต่างชาติที่มีความรู้ภาษาญี่ปุ่นเทียบเท่า JLPT ระดับ N2 เกิดขึ้นจากร่องรอยที่เด่นชัดของการยืม ภาษาจีนทั้งรูปอักษร เสียงอ่าน และความหมายของคำ แต่เมื่อยืมมาใช้แล้วก็ถือเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของ ภาษาญี่ปุ่นซึ่งมีการพัฒนาไปในรูปแบบของตนเอง พัฒนาการนี้ทำให้เกิดความแตกต่างเล็กน้อยจนถึง ไม่มีเค้าโครงเดิมอันจะสังเคราะห์เป็นข้อพึงระวังในการใช้ความรู้ภาษาญี่ปุ่นเพื่อศึกษาภาษาจีนต่อไป

การศึกษาวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์ความหมายและบริบทการใช้คำกริยา 打dǎ ในภาษาจีน และคำกริยา “ตี” ในภาษาไทย ซึ่งต่างเป็นคำที่มีหลายความหมายและถือว่าอยู่ภายใต้ มโนทัศน์เดียวกัน เพื่อเปรียบเทียบความเหมือนและความต่างระหว่างความหมายต้นแบบที่เป็นวงความหมายต้นทางของคำกริยา 打dǎ ที่สัมพันธ์กับความหมายอื่นๆ ในภาษาจีน กับความหมายต้นแบบที่เป็นวงความหมายต้นทางของคำกริยา “ตี” ที่สัมพันธ์กับความหมายอื่นในภาษาไทย ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ความหมายต้นแบบ “ตี ทุบ เคาะ ตบ ฯลฯ” ที่เป็นวงความหมายต้นทางของคำกริยาทั้งสอง จะประกอบด้วยคุณสมบัติสามประการ ได้แก่ 1) ใช้มือหรืออุปกรณ์ในมือกระทำเป้าหมาย 2) มีทิศทางการออกแรงทิศทางเดียว และ 3) มีการกระทบหรือปะทะกันระหว่างสองสิ่ง นอกจากนี้ยังมีการขยายวงความหมายไปสู่ความหมายอื่นๆ รวม 12 กลุ่มในลักษณะที่ใกล้เคียงกันมาก โดยความหมายที่ขยายออกมาจากวงความหมายต้นทางส่วนใหญ่ยังคงมีคุณสมบัติของความหมายต้นแบบสามประการ เพียงแต่อาจมากน้อยต่างกันไป ในความเห็นของผู้วิจัย อาจสามารถแบ่งกลุ่มความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างความหมายต้นแบบกับวงความหมายอื่นๆ ของคำกริยา 打dǎ ในภาษาจีนและความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างความหมายต้นแบบกับวงความหมายอื่นๆ ของคำกริยา “ตี” ในภาษาไทยออกเป็น 2 กลุ่มใหญ่ ได้แก่ 1) กลุ่มที่ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างความหมายต้นแบบกับวงความหมายอื่นๆ คล้ายคลึงกันมาก และ 2) กลุ่มที่ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างความหมายต้นแบบกับวงความหมายอื่นๆ คล้ายคลึงกันปานกลาง
