The 'Iconic Green' pre-planning study for the Monroe Park Campus of VCU provides the framework and data necessary to support the intended 'nexus' on the proposed site. A review of the existing literature on various subjects included will highlight models and successful measures that have ensured success for previous similar built works. This doctoral research advances the fields of urban sound design and acoustic planning, presenting new ways of exploring the interrelationship between individual and collective sonic experience, the dynamic potential of the urban sound environment and the complex evolution of the contemporary cityscape. It links urban sound art practices with larger urban design processes, revealing how sound contributes to the production of urban space. The research progresses by crafting a dynamic, integrative methodology that activates contrasting sonic perspectives to critically reassess the role of sound in the public realm. Studies show that within most countries, there are generally many different socio-cultural, ethnic and religious groups and this diversity inevitably creates a level of inter-group tension, with income disparities, cultural differences, and intergroup segregation leading in turn to social exclusion. This paper sets out to develop a conceptual framework to examine the relationship between that participation and the social inclusion outcomes in the plan-making process. It addresses how social inclusion can relate to the plan-making process culturally, politically and institutionally, economically and socially with high level participation. สถานการณ์ของผู้สูงอายุในประเทศไทยได้เข้าสู่สังคมผู้สูงวัยอย่างสมบูรณ์ใน พ.ศ. 2565 ดังนั้นการเตรียมความพร้อมในการรองรับสังคมของผู้สูงอายุ จึงจำเป็นต้องร่วมมือกันในทุกๆภาคส่วนไม่ว่าจะเป็น ด้านเศรษฐกิจ สภาพแวดล้อม สุขภาพ สังคมและแนวทางแก้ไขปรับเปลี่ยนรูปแบบการดูแลผู้สูงอายุให้เข้ากับสภาพแวดล้อมและที่พักอาศัยให้เหมาะสมกับผู้สูงอายุ รัฐบาลจึงได้ออกมาตราการรองรับสังคมผู้สูงอายุ ในด้านต่างๆรวมถึง การสร้างที่พักอาศัยสำหรับผู้สูงอายุ (Senior Complex) ทำให้มีการพัฒนาโครงการที่พักอาศัยสำหรับผู้สูงอายุเพิ่มมากขึ้นในปัจจุบัน โดยโครงการอสังหาริมทรัพย์เพื่อผู้สูงอายุจะมีรูปแบบในการซื้อการเช่าและเข้าพักอาศัยแตกต่างกันออกไปไม่ว่าจะเป็นแบบ , ขายขาด , เช่าระยะยาว 30 ปี , การเช่าอยู่แบบรายเดือนและดูแลผู้สูงวัยแบบรายวัน จากข้อมูลที่กล่าวมาข้างต้นนี้ผู้วิจัยจึงสนใจในเรื่องสิทธิการเข้าพักอาศัยในรูปแบบที่แตกต่างกัน จึงกลายมาเป็นที่มาของการศึกษา แนวคิดการจัดการรูปแบบสิทธิการพักอาศัยในโครงการที่พักอาศัยผู้สูงอายุในประเทศไทย จากการศึกษาพบว่ากลุ่มตัวอย่างส่วนใหญ่เลือกที่จะซื้อที่อยู่อาศัยใหม่ประเภทโครงการที่พักอาศัยสำหรับผู้สูงอายุเมื่อเข้าสู่วัยเกษียณและเลือกสิทธิการเข้าพักอาศัยในโครงการผู้สูงอายุ ในรูปแบบรายเดือน และรูปแบบเช่าระยะยาวตลอดชีวิต โดยปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการเลือกสิทธิการพักอาศัยในโครงการที่พักอาศัยสำหรับผู้สูงอายุคือราคาของที่พักอาศัยและเงื่อนไขในการเข้าพัก จึงเสนอแนะแนวทางการจัดการรูปแบบสิทธิการพักอาศัยในมุมมองของผู้ประกอบการส่วนใหญ่ คิดเห็นว่าควรมีสิทธิการเข้าพักหลายรูปแบบในโครงการเดียวเพื่อให้ผู้สูงอายุสามารถเลือกให้เหมาะสมกับตัวเองมากที่สุดและเพิ่มสวัสดิการเพื่อผู้สูงอายุให้มากขึ้น ซึ่งจะทำให้ผู้สูงอายุสามารถเข้าถึงที่พักอาศัยในโครงการได้มากขึ้นและเพิ่มโอกาสทางการตลาดกับผู้พัฒนาโครงการ

The development of San Francisco, much like many American cities, is deeply entwined with the spatial process of settler-colonialism. Fueled by White supremacist processes of appropriation, dispossession and exclusion, city officials and White San Franciscans legally, financially, and socially segregated Chinese immigrants who entered into the U.S. context to a dense and degraded ethnic enclave. Henri Lefebvre and David Harvey theorize on The Right to the City, the social production of space and the ways in which social processes can be concretized by space. With HVAC and building energy usage expected to increase, there is a strong need for autonomous thermal management solutions. In particular, there has been a growing interest in thermoresponsive (TR) smart windows that are activated by ambient temperature changes. Most TR smart windows contain a liquid solution between two panes. The goal of this research project was to develop a self-supporting smart window by forming a gel that maintained its TR properties.
