Objective: To determine the prevalence of ECC and evaluate its association with possible risk factors in a group of preschool children in Kerman, Iran. Material and Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted in Kerman on healthy preschool children (up to 6 years old) in June and October 2021. The children were randomly selected from kindergartens using a clustered sampling method, and their height, weight, dental caries, and occlusion were evaluated. Parents completed a questionnaire assessing feeding habits (breast/bottle feeding) and oral habits during the first two years of life. Background: Ameloblastoma is the most frequent of the benign epithelial odontogenic tumours. It exhibits a unique biologic behavior which demands meticulous understanding for thorough diagnosis and management. P53 tumor suppressor protein functions as a gatekeeper of cell division, inducing either cell cycle arrest or apoptosis. While mutations in the p53 gene are often detected in human cancers; the role of p53 in ameloblastoma remains elusive.

OBJECTIVES: Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are often prescribed following the placement of dental implants, but the effects of these drugs on the osseointegration process are poorly understood. We designed a randomized, placebo-controlled pilot study to quantitatively assess the effect of NSAIDs during early implant osseointegration.

MATERIALS AND METHODS: Subjects receiving a maxillary dental implant were randomized to take naproxen or placebo for 7 days after the surgery. Implant osseointegration was quantified using Resonance Frequency Analysis device. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of decompression as a treatment approach for radicular cysts in five pediatric patients. Case report: 5 pediatric patients with five cystic lesions from 6 to 11 years old diagnosed with radicular cysts were treated by decompression. Clinical and radiograph data from pre- and post-surgery were collected and analyzed. Complete resolution of all cystic lesions and simultaneous eruption of impacted teeth within the cyst were managed. The mean follow-up time is 25.6 months, and no recurrences were observed. Jaw osteosarcoma (JOS) is a rare, distinct variant that differ from long bone osteosarcoma (LBOS) in several aspects. JOS typically appears about twenty years later than LBOS, displays a lower propensity for metastasis to other organs, and exhibits better survival rates. The dissimilarities in clinical and biological behavior between JOS and LBOS are likely due, at least in part, to variations in their respective microenvironments. This case report describes the prosthodontic rehabilitation of a geriatric patient with generalized aggressive periodontitis. The patient was advised to for full extraction. An implant supported hybrid prosthesis with multi-unit abutments was fabricated for the patient who chose a fixed kind of prosthesis. Implants were placed in the maxillary & mandibular arch. Frameworks were waxed, plastic castable abutments were used for casting, denture teeth were waxed to the hybrid framework and a final wax try-in to check and adjust the maxilla-mandibular relationships before processing, the prosthesis was placed. The clinical and radiologic results met expectations.
