The treatment of growth hormone deficiency (GHD) is well-established in childhood but less understood in adults, given the more complex role that growth hormone (GH) assumes in this population. Decreased functionality of the pituitary gland, otherwise known as hypopituitarism, can present with an isolated GHD in adulthood, which may result from a number of factors including neoplasm, ischemia, infection, traumatic injury, or systemic disease. Adult GHD may be definitively diagnosed with a stimulation test, the insulin tolerance test (ITT) being the study of choice. Background: Depression and anxiety are serious complications of cancer and deemed a challenging diagnosis due to the symptoms of depression mimicking common side effects of chemotherapy and radiation. Signs/symptoms frequently are underrecognized thus appropriate treatment is delayed, compromising the health-related quality of life (HRQOL) for pediatric oncology patients.

Background: A 21-year-old female collegiate volleyball player reported to the athletic training staff after a competition upon noticing that her pupils were unequal. The patient stated that she was not experiencing any other signs or symptoms that would indicate a concussion, but did recall striking her head on the court during pre-competition warmups. The patient reported no previous history of concussion or eye injury. Further evaluation did not reveal any issues with the patient’s reflexes, balance, or memory. A 23-year-old male patient participating in intercollegiate basketball, suffered an acute shoulder dislocation. The patient was diagnosed with an anterior glenohumeral labral tear and was treated with an indirect approach to increase range of motion (ROM) and function while decreasing pain. Patient-related outcome (PRO) measures were used along with clinician related outcome (CRO) measures to discharge the patient. The immediate changes in ROM and pain along with follow-up assessments of the Disabilities of the Arm, Shoulder, Hand (DASH) Scale achieved Minimal Clinically Importance Difference (MCID) levels. Background: A 21-year-old male collegiate baseball pitcher reported to the athletic training staff complaining of thoracic back pain when throwing during the non-traditional season. The patient did not recall a specific mechanism of injury, and noted that his pain had gradually increased over time. The patient reported no previous history of thoracic or lumbar spine injury. Further evaluation revealed multiple myofascial adhesions that did not resolve with conservative treatments. This paper develops an end-to-end ECG signal classification algorithm based on a novel segmentation strategy and 1D Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) to aid the classification of ECG signals and alleviate the workload of physicians. The ECG segmentation strategy named R-R-R strategy (i.e., retaining ECG data between the R peaks just before and after the current R peak) is used for segmenting the original ECG data into segments to train and test the 1D CNN models. Strongyloides stercoralis is a soil-transmitted helminth that causes strongyloidiasis, a chronic parasitic infection in humans. S. stercoralis is one of several worm species that cause soil-transmitted helminthiasis, a neglected tropical disease. Herein, we discuss a 78-year-old female residing in a nursing home presenting with abdominal pain and shortness of breath. During a thoracentesis, physicians found multiple rhabditoid larvae consistent with S. stercoralis. However, before the procedure, a serial assessment of stool sample was performed and failed to demonstrate a parasitic infestation. Many of those infected with S. stercoralis are asymptomatic. The SANE is a PROM of recovery, which may assist clinicians in clinical decision-making and discharge planning. The psychometric measurement properties of the SANE have yet to be determined for neck pain.

Introduction
Hemangiomas are benign vascular tumors that are common during infancy. They are most commonly noted as superficial bright red lesions on the skin but can also be found deeper as subcutaneous lesions. Patients with multifocal cutaneous hemangiomas are at risk of visceral involvement with the liver being most commonly affected. Most hemangiomas can be monitored clinically as they are self-limiting. Despite this, hepatic hemangiomas can have serious complications including large arteriovenous shunts leading to cardiac compromise as well as severe hepatomegaly which can cause abdominal compartment syndrome, impaired ventilation and renal vein compression.

Acute kidney injury (AKI) is a serious and common complication in critically ill pediatric patients. The incidence of pediatric AKI continues to increase, especially in patients who undergo surgical correction of congenital heart defects. Serum creatinine and urine output are the most commonly used tools to assess renal function, with international guidelines standardizing AKI-definitions based upon these parameters. However, changes in serum creatinine can occur 24 hours or later after a renal insult event, delaying the diagnosis and potential interventions to reverse injury.
