Research Productivity On Knowledge Management From Pakistan: A Study From 2000-2020, Mohammad Hussain, Muhammad Shehr Yar

This study examined the research productivity on Knowledge Management from Pakistan during the years 2000-2020. The study tends to determine the year-wise publications, authorship pattern, total count of citations, citations per year, most cited publications and the most prolific authors. The data for the study was extracted from Google Scholar by using bibliometric tool “Public & Perish”. The data was further analyzed on different parameters with the help of Publish & Perish and MS Excel 2016. It was found that a total of 84 documents were published during the study period. Citation study of 10,845 citations appended to 80 doctoral dissertations in the field of horticulture awarded by Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya (BCKV), Mohanpur and Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya (UBKV), Cooch Bihar, West Bengal has been carried out to determine the authorship pattern and productivity to cited articles during 1991-2010. The paper explores the growth pattern of Alzheimer’s disease literature, published during 2014-2018. The data has been retrieved from the Web of Science database by using the keyword ‘Alzheimer’s Disease’. The downloaded articles were classified chronologically and transferred to a spreadsheet for the analysis as per the objectives of the study. The study results revealed that a total of 38936 publications were found out of which maximum publications (8355) were found in the year 2018 and the minimum 7192 publications were found in the year 2014. To meet the challenges of a data-driven society, high school students need new arrays of literacy skills. In the United States, school librarians, who work across disciplines, are well-positioned to help students improve their data practice, but they first need new domain knowledge. We have accessed the required data from 2008 to 2017 from this database and evaluated the research productivity of SAARC countries and citations in the field of social science subject. This article studied SAARC countries publications, citations, citations per document, self-citations and degree of self – citations. Present study examines the user satisfaction of library resources and services: A survey of pre-university college teachers in Karnataka, India. Well structured questionnaires were distributed among 125 teachers to collect their opinions regarding the frequency and purpose of visit to the library. Study also highlights the available information resources and services. From the study we found that the majority of the respondents 65 (63.73%) are male followed by female respondents 37 (36.27%).
