This pilot study seeks to explore the social and technological barriers affecting user engagement in online community archives. We have explored this question using the Documenting Ferguson digital archive, which was built by Washington University Libraries at Washington University in St. Louis in response to the shooting death of unarmed teenager Michael Brown on August 9, 2014, by police officer Darren Wilson in Ferguson, Missouri, and the resulting social protests. The present study determines the extent of India’s Publication growth in Science and Technology. The data was extracted from the Thomson Reuters’ Web of Science for the period 1989-2014. The study covers a year wise growth of Science and Technology publications; Relative Growth Rate (RGR), Doubling Time (DT), Activity Index (AI) of different countries; international collaboration, productive Indian Institutes, prolific authors in Science and Technology field. The aim of this study was to investigate the information use pattern of final year undergraduate students in North-Central Nigeria. Specifically, five purposes and research questions guided the study. It adopted a descriptive survey design and had a population of 3365 registered undergraduate final year student library users from three selected federal universities. The study used proportionate stratified random sampling technique to sample 200 final years Undergraduate library users. From the above population two hundred (200) questionnaire were distributed with one hundred and eighty five (185) returned; representing a return rate of 93%. Information literacy education in Nigeria is yet to be fully developed and supported by a national standard. The paper examined librarians conceptions of information literacy in three Federal Universities in South East Nigeria and perceptions of its value for students in institutions of higher learning and draws on the implications for development of optimal formalized information literacy programmes in Nigerian universities. Objective: In this study the relationship between staff organizational commitment and providing optimal services to public libraries clients in the city of Mashhad is investigated.

Methods: In this research both library and field study have been used. The study group consists of the 70 librarians working in public libraries in the city of Mashhad, and the sample group was determined by using Morgan table. The purpose of this paper was to explore the factors responsible for publication preferences among a select group of researchers attending a research writing workshop in Ghana. The objectives were to investigate the specific motivations for publishing; to explore the factors that influence researchers’ journal selection decisions; and availability of in-house programmes for journal publishing. Swanton Pacific Ranch is an educational and research facility owned by the Cal Poly Corporation and managed by the Cal Poly State University (Cal Poly) College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences. The rancho’s original inhabitants included Native Americans, Spaniards, Mexicans, as well as various European immigrants and their descendants; currently, the staff, faculty, and students of Cal Poly occupy the land. The Summer LibGuides Revamp was a four week series, with each week focusing on a different aspect of LibGuides best practices. This session covers tips that can be used in the interview process with the professor, creating a flipped classroom, or blended instruction opportunities to enhance the learning process (including pre- or post-session), as well as demonstrating guides for assisting students in database searching techniques. This case study reviews aspects of establishing a sustainable digital scholarship center, supporting open access through the institutional repository (K-State Research Exchange - K-REx) and an open access publishing platform (New Prairie Press – NPP) along with other outreach efforts. One, in particular, had the ongoing issues of tracking different stages, individual responsibilities, information gathering, notifications, and uploads done manually.
