In this technological era, basic Digital literacy is essential for competitive exam aspirants (job seekers). This paper deals with Digital literacy skills of competitive exam aspirants in Anna Centenary Library at Chennai. Random sampling and questionnaire method has been used to collect the data from 315 respondents. The paper presents a comparative study of top-ranked Asiatic region journals of the Library and Information Science discipline. SCImago Journal and the country rank was used to determine the top-ranked Asiatic journals in the domain of library and information science. Initially, the top 10 journals were considered which filtered based on the coverage and SJR Ranked. A total of 6 Journals were considered for further evaluation and comparison, which meets different parameters and criteria. A comprehensive scientometric study was also presented of these six journals. Further, the paper presents the publication patterns of these six top-ranked journals.

Information technology steered the proliferation of information resources in different formats, thus, making available a lot of information choices for the diverse needs of all types of users. To be able to obtain quality resources, the academic libraries play a crucial role in developing the information competencies of college students. This study examined the information literacy of college freshmen using a cognitive test. Scores were analyzed using mean scores, frequency, and percentage. Findings indicate that college freshmen have above average literacy in accessing information, and average in evaluating and using information. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the information and communication technology (ICT) skills as determinants of utilization of Institutional Repositories (IRs) by lecturers in Covenant University (CU) and the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN), Nigeria. The research method employed stratified random sampling and the sample size was 94 lecturers from the Covenant University and 285 lecturers from University of Ilorin. The instrument used for data collection was a questionnaire. This article examine the male and female Library and Information Science (LIS) professionals working in universities in Tamil Nadu. The study reveals that out of 441 respondents surveyed under the study, 73.7% (325) are male respondents and 26.3% (116) are female respondents. This study reveals that the male LIS professionals are very good and good at many skills while female LIS professionals are OK at many skills. Violent crime in Trinidad and Tobago has increased over the last two decades, yet the police have been largely unsuccessful in reducing violence. Between 1999 and 2016, the murder rate increased by 475%. Despite the fact that the murder rate has increased, approximately 76 homicides are cleared each year, resulting in a low-homicide clearance rate. Using 40 semi-structured interviews with community members from a high-crime, low-income community in Trinidad and Tobago, this study examines residents’ experiences with police officers, and respondents’ willingness to work with the police to clear criminal cases. Teaching using technologies has helped in making learning flexible, accommodating and increases potential learners. This study examines the information and communication technology assesses and use by teachers of community health nurses training school. The purposive sampling technique was used to select all the thirty teachers. The data was analysed using frequency, percentages, chi-square, bivariate correlation, t-test and linear regression.
