การใช้และความต้องการใช้บริการข่าวสารทันสมัยของอาจารย์มหาวิทยาลัยทักษิณ, ขวัญชนก วิริยกุลโอภาศ

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา การใช้บริการข่าวสารทันสมัยของอาจารย์มหาวิทยาลัยทักษิณ วิทยาเขตสงขลา ในด้านวัตถุประสงค์การใช้ ประเภทของบริการ ช่องทางใช้บริการข่าวสารทันสมัย การนำไปใช้ประโยชน์ ปัญหาในการใช้ ความต้องการใช้บริการข่าวสารทันสมัยในด้านประเภทของบริการ ความถี่และช่องทางที่ต้องการ โดยใช้แบบสอบถามเป็นเครื่องมือในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลจากอาจารย์มหาวิทยาลัยทักษิณ รวมทั้งสิ้น 201 ชุด ได้รับแบบสอบถามกลับคืนมาจำนวน 143 ชุด คิดเป็นร้อยละ 71.14 การวิจัยได้ทำการศึกษาจากบริการข่าวสารทันสมัย 5 ประเภท ได้แก่ รายชื่อทรัพยากรสารนิเทศใหม่ข่าวสารห้องสมุด บริการหน้าสารบัญวารสาร บริการดรรชนีบทความ และบริการจัดแสดงทรัพยากรสารนิเทศใหม่ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า อาจารย์ส่วนใหญ่ใช้บริการข่าวสารทันสมัยทุกประเภทเพื่อประกอบการสอน เพื่อติดตามข่าวที่สนใจ และเพื่อการวิจัย โดยใช้บริการจากเว็บไซต์ห้องสมุดและไปใช้ด้วยตนเองที่ห้องสมุด ใช้ประโยชน์จากบริการข่าวสารทันสมัยในการรวบรวมบรรณานุกรมเพื่อผลิตเอกสารประกอบการเรียนแก่นิสิต และใช้ในการรวบรวมบรรณานุกรมที่เกี่ยวข้องเพื่อผลิต ผลงานทางวิชาการ สำหรับปัญหาในการใช้บริการข่าวสารทันสมัย 5 ประเภทที่มีค่าเฉลี่ยสูงสุด มีดังนี้ ปัญหาบริการรายชื่อ ทรัพยากรสารนิเทศใหม่ออกให้บริการล่าช้า ปัญหาความไม่สะดวกในการอ่านข่าวสารห้องสมุดบนป้ายนิเทศ ปัญหาสารบัญวารสารมีไม่ครบทุกฉบับ ปัญหาดรรชนีบทความวารสารไม่ครอบคลุมหัวเรื่องที่ต้องการ และปัญหาการจัดแสดงทรัพยากร สารนิเทศใหม่มีกำหนดไม่แน่นอน ส่วนปัญหาอื่น ๆ ที่ มีค่าเฉลี่ยสูงสุด คือ ไม่ทรายว่าสำนักหอสมุดมีบริการนี้ บริการข่าว สารทันสมัยที่อาจารย์ต้องการใช้สูงสุด คือ บริการชื่อทรัพยากรสารนิเทศใหม่ อาจารย์ส่วนใหญ่ต้องการให้จัดบริการข่าวสาร ทันสมัยเป็นรายเดือน ต้องการบริการส่งตรงถึงอาจารย์ทางไปรษณีย์อิเล็กทรอนิกส์ในระดับมาก ต้องการเนื้อหาความรู้ทั่วไป และเนื้อหาด้านการศึกษา และไม่ต้องการให้จัดเก็บค่าใช้บริการ The objectives of this research were 1) to investigate the uses of current awareness services of Thaksin University faculty members at Songkhla Campus, in terms of purposes of use, types of services, service usage channels, utilization of services, …

การรู้สารนิเทศของนิสิตระดับปริญญาตรีชั้นปีที่ 1 มหาวิทยาลัยมหาสารคาม, ภนิดา แก้วมณี

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา การรู้สารนิเทศของนิสิตระดับปริญญาตรีชั้นปีที่ 1 มหาวิทยาลัยมหาสารคาม ในด้านการกำหนดสารนิเทศที่ต้องการ การเข้าถึงสารนิเทศ การประเมินสารนิเทศ และการใช้สารนิเทศ รวมถึงปัญหาในการ เข้าถึงสารนิเทศของนิสิตระดับปริญญาตรีชั้นปีที่ 1 มหาวิทยาลัยมหาสารคาม โดยใช้แบบสอบถามเป็นเครื่องมือในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลจากนิสิตระดับปริญญาตรีชั้นปีที่ 1 มหาวิทยาลัยมหาสารคาม รวมทั้งสิ้น 540 ชุด ได้รับแบบสอบถามกลับ คืนมาซึ่งสามารถนำมาวิเคราะห์ได้จำนวน 522 ชุด (ร้อยละ 96.67) ผลการวิจัยพบว่า นิสิตปริญญาตรีชั้นปีที่ 1 มหาวิทยาลัยมหาสารคาม ในปีการศึกษา 2551 มีการรู้สารนิเทศโดย รวมในระดับมาก เมื่อพิจารณาความสามารถตามเกณฑ์ 4 ด้าน พบว่า นิสิตมีความสามารถในระดับมากทั้ง 4 ด้าน คือ ด้านการกำหนดสารนิเทศที่ต้องการ ด้านการเข้าถึงสารนิเทศ ด้านการประเมินสารนิเทศ และด้านการใช้สารนิเทศ สำหรับปัญหาในการเข้าถึงสารนิเทศ พบว่า นิสิตประสบปัญหาในระดับปานกลางและระดับน้อย โดยปัญหาที่มีค่าเฉลี่ยสูงสุดคือ นิสิตค้าหาหนังสือบนชั้นไม่พบ แต่ผลการสืบค้นแจ้งสถานะว่าหนังสืออยู่บนชั้น The objectives of this research were 1) to study information literacy of Mahasarakham University’s first year undergraduate students, in terms of information need identification, information access, information evaluation, and information use; and 2) to investigate problems in information access of Mahasarakham University’s first year students, in which data was collected …

การส่งเสริมการใช้ห้องสมุดสำหรับนักศึกษาของห้องสมุดมหาวิทยาลัย, ประภาศรี เขียวคง

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา การส่งเสริมการใช้ห้องสมุดสำหรับนักศึกษาของห้องสมุด มหาวิทยาลัย ในด้านกิจกรรม หน่วยงานที่รับผิดชอบ นโยบาย การดำเนินงานและการประเมินผล รวมถึงปัญหาการส่งเสริมการใช้ห้องสมุดสำหรับนักศึกษาของห้องสมุดมหาวิทยาลัย การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงสำรวจ โดยผู้วิจัยได้ส่งแบบสอบถามไปยังผู้มีหน้าที่รับผิดชอบงานส่งเสริมการใช้ห้องสมุด ในหอสมุดกลางสังกัดมหาวิทยาลัยของรัฐและเอกชน ซึ่งอาจจะเป็น ผู้อำนวยการห้องสมุด หัวหน้าห้องสมุด หรือ บรรณารักษ์ จำนวน 102 แห่ง แห่งละ 1 คน ทั้งนี้มีผู้ตอบแบบสอบถามจำนวน 83 คน หรือคิดเป็นร้อยละ 81.37 ของแบบสอบถามที่ส่งไปทั้งหมด ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ห้องสมุดมหาวิทยาลัยส่วนใหญ่มีนโยบายการส่งเสริมการใช้ห้องสมุดโดยเขียนเป็นลายลักษณ์อักษร มีผู้อำนวยการห้องสมุด/หัวหน้าห้องสมุดเป็นผู้กำหนดนโยบาย ห้องสมุดมหาวิทยาลัยส่วนใหญ่ส่งเสริมการใช้ห้องสมุดโดยการนำชมและแนะนำการใช้ห้องสมุด และสอนการสืบค้นข้อมูลออนไลน์ ห้องสมุดมหาวิทยาลัยจำนวนมากที่สุดมีฝ่ายบริการ สารนิเทศเป็นผู้รับผิดชอบการส่งเสริมการใช้ห้องสมุด แหล่งงบประมาณในการส่งเสริมการใช้ห้องสมุด คือ งบประมาณของห้องสมุดมหาวิทยาลัย และประชาสัมพันธ์ผ่านเว็บไซต์ห้องสมุด/มหาวิทยาลัย สำหรับปัญหาการส่งเสริมการใช้ห้องสมุด พบว่า ห้องสมุดประสบปัญหาในระดับปานกลาง โดยปัญหาที่มีค่าเฉลี่ยสูงสุด คือ ปัญหาขาดแคลนบุคลากรในการดำเนิน งานด้านการส่งเสริมการใช้ห้องสมุด The purpose of this research was to study library use promotion for students of university libraries, in terms of, promotion activities, responsible departments, policies, operations, evaluation, and problemsregarding library use promotion. การสำรวจการใช้บริการสืบค้นสารสนเทศในห้องสมุดวิทยาลัยศาสตร์สาธารณสุข จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย, สุนันทา วงศ์ชาลี

การสำรวจการใช้บริการสืบค้นสารสนเทศในห้องสมุดวิทยาลัยศาสตร์สาธารณสุข จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย มีวัตถุ ประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์แบบบันทึกการใช้บริการสืบค้นสารสนเทศของผู้ใช้บริการห้องสมุดวิทยาศาสตร์สาธารณสุข ระหว่างวันที่ 1 มกราคม 2549 ถึง วันที่ 31 ธันวาคม 2552 จำนวน 158 รายการ ในด้านหัวเรื่องที่ต้องการสืบค้น วัตถุประสงค์การใช้ สารสนเทศ แหล่งสนเทศที่เป็นคำตอบ และช่องทางการรับบริการ ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ผู้รับบริการสืบค้นสารสนเทศส่วนใหญ่คือ อาจารย์ ร้อยละ 48.7 วัตถุประสงค์หลักในการสืบค้นสารสนเทศ คือ เพื่อการทำวิจัย ร้อยละ 42.4 กลุ่มเนื้อหาหัวเรื่องของข้อคำถามที่ผู้รับบริการสืบค้นมากที่สุดคือ ด้านนโยบายสุขภาพและบริหารจัดการซึ่งรวมเรื่องการป้องกันและควบคุม เฝ้าระวัง ระบาดวิทยา โรคติดต่อ และโรคไม่ติดต่อ คิดเป็นร้อยละ 41 ผู้รับบริการส่วนใหญ่ต้องการเอกสารฉบับเต็ม ร้อยละ 96.2 โดยช่องทางการขอรับบริการคือ การส่งจดหมายอิเล็กทรอนิกส์มายังบรรณารักษ์ ร้อยละ 48.7 แหล่งสารสนเทศที่เป็นคำตอบสำหรับการให้บริการสืบค้นของบรรณ-รักษ์ คือสารสนเทศบนอินเทอร์เน็ต ร้อยละ 31 The research aims to study the use of online searching and information services in the College of Public Health Science Library, Chulalongkorn University, by analyzing 158 search request forms collected between 1 January 2006 and 31 December 2009 in terms of the needed subject headings, searching objectives, information sources as …

Organochlorines are classified as persistent organic pollutants and endocrine disrupters. They were widely used for insect control and malaria vector control programs. Although most organochlorines were officially banned in many countries, high levels have been found in ecosystem and food chain. Relationship Of The Quantity Of Blood Lead Levels And The Knowledge, Work Practice, And Attitude Of Workers In A Recycling Battery Factory In Nakhonsawan Province, Santi Keadthongthawee, Piyalamporn Havanond

This research was a cross-sectional study. The purpose was to study relationship between knowledge, work practice and attitude of workers toward quantity of lead in their blood. The study took place during January-December 2008 in a recycling battery factory in Nakhonsawan Province by means of purposive sampling. Relevant data were gathered by structured questionnaire which was tested for reliability by means of Cronbach's alpha coefficient. Analysis of the relationship was performed via Pearson's product-moment correlation coefficient. The statistical significance was considered when p < 0.05. The results of the study of total 72 workers were as followings: average score of knowledge was 12.8 out of 15 with the SD of 1.6, max score of 15 and min score of 9; average behavior score of workers was 12.9 out of 15 with SD of 1.3, max score of 15 and min score of 9; average score on attitude was 22.7 out of 30 with SD of 0.94, max score 25 and min score of 21. Hence, majority of them were in good knowledge (86.1 %) and had good work practice (93.1 %). As well, all workers (100 %) had good attitude. Significant (p < 0.05) relationship between levels of lead in blood and behavior of workers was found. The workers with high quantity of lead in their blood stream took more precaution on their work practice. This might be the fact that they knew that lead in blood could naturally be released by mechanism of body. Furthermore, the condition could be improved if they do not obtain further lead. On the other aspect, the relationship between age and level of lead in blood is also significant (p < 0.001). The workers with older age had more quantity of lead in blood than young workers. However, there was no relationship among quantity of lead in blood toward attitude or knowledge of the workers. From the study, it is suggested that annual blood test and physical examination of all workers should be implemented. Furthermore, it should emphasize on the campaign of good work practice. Especially, smoking during working hour must be strictly prohibited, since the protection mask has to be taken off and open the chance of taking the lead in.

The physical model at Hydraulic Engineering Laboratory Unit, Prince Songkhla University was used to test the efficiency of a triangular-concrete piled breakwater. The concentrations of selected heavy metals (Cd, Cu, Pb and Zn) at a depth of 0-30 cm sediments from 11 stations in a mangrove forest at Bang Ya Praeg, Tha Chin Estuary, Samut Sakhon Province, Thailand were examined. The ranges of heavy metals, in mg kg-1 dry weight (dw), were as follows: Cd (0.035 to 0.070), Cu (7.90 to 21.91), Pb (11.91 to 25.74) and Zn (55.99 to 75.05).
