The Utilization Of Cashew Shell Residues And Grease Waste For Charcoal Briquette Production, Supaporn Pongthornpruek

This study aims to investigate appropriate utilization of mixing grease waste (GW) from a canteen's grease trap with cashew shell charcoal (CSC) to produce briquette fuel by weight (GW:CSC) in the ratio 1:2, 2:2, 3:2 and 4:2. All different mixing ratios used starch paste as binding agent. The physical and chemical properties of briquette fuel were analyzed to verify its heating value components as specified by the American Society for Testing and Material (ASTM). In addition, in terms of heat utilization efficiency and pollution aspects, the content of carbon monoxide (CO) emissions from combustion were measured. The result of this …

งานวิจัยครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาคุณลักษณะสำคัญของหนังสือภาพสำหรับเด็กเพื่อสื่อสารประเด็นความหลากหลายทางเพศ, เพื่อศึกษากระบวนการสร้างสรรค์หนังสือภาพสำหรับเด็กเพื่อสื่อสารประเด็นความหลากหลายทางเพศในบริบทสังคมไทย และเพื่อศึกษาความเข้าใจในประเด็นความหลากหลายทางเพศของผู้รับสารที่ได้รับจากหนังสือภาพสำหรับเด็กเพื่อความหลากหลายทางเพศในบริบทสังคมไทย จากผลการวิจัยพบว่าคุณลักษณะสำคัญของหนังสือภาพสำหรับเด็กเพื่อสื่อสารประเด็นความหลากหลายทางเพศ คือ การสอดแทรกประเด็นความหลากหลายทางเพศลงไปในรูปแบบการเล่าเรื่องด้วยคุณลักษณะพื้นฐานที่เรียบง่ายและคุ้นเคยดีของหนังสือภาพสำหรับเด็กโดยทั่วไป ด้วยกลวิธีการใช้สัญญะ และ/หรือการลดทอนความสมจริง โดยมีจุดประสงค์เพื่อสะท้อนการเห็นคุณค่าของบุคคล, เพื่อการให้อิสระในการเลือกและแสดงตัวตน และเพื่อการสร้างการยอมรับ คุณลักษณะสำคัญในข้างต้น ถูกนำมาเป็นฐานคิดเพื่อเข้าสู่ขั้นตอนการสร้างสรรค์หนังสือภาพสำหรับเด็กเพื่อสื่อสารประเด็นความหลากหลายทางเพศในบริบทสังคมไทย เรื่อง ชุดใหม่ของลูกหมี ซึ่งมีกระบวนการทั้งสิ้น 5 ขั้นตอน โดยในแต่ละขั้นตอนได้ทำการออกแบบและสอดแทรกแนวคิดความหลากหลายทางเพศในรูปแบบของสัญญะลงไปในองค์ประกอบของหนังสือภาพ อาทิ ตัวละคร เสื้อผ้าของตัวละคร และเนื้อหาคำบรรยาย เพื่อการสื่อสารในประเด็นการให้อิสระในการเลือกและการแสดงตัวตน และการเห็นคุณค่าและยอมรับบุคคลจากภายใน ผลการประเมินพบว่า ผู้รับสารสามารถเข้าใจประเด็นการให้อิสระในการเลือกและการแสดงตัวตนจากหนังสือภาพเรื่อง ชุดใหม่ของลูกหมี ได้ แต่ต้องอาศัยการทำความเข้าใจร่วมกับคำอธิบายเพิ่มเติมในท้ายเล่มเพื่อให้สามารถเข้าใจสารได้ชัดเจนขึ้น ผู้รับสารสามารถเข้าใจสัญญะของ "กระโปรง" และ "กางเกง" ได้ชัดเจนที่สุด โดยประเด็นการเห็นคุณค่าและยอมรับบุคคลจากภายในเกิดจากกลุ่มตัวอย่างทั้งหมดให้การยอมรับความหลากหลายทางเพศโดยภูมิหลังอยู่แล้ว แต่ยังมีบางส่วนที่ปฏิเสธการเลือกหนังสือภาพเรื่อง ชุดใหม่ของลูกหมี ให้บุตร-หลานอ่าน เนื่องจากมองว่ายังไม่จำเป็นสำหรับครอบครัวตน

Thailand's fishing industry has been in the global spotlight in recent years with continued international attention on human rights abuses taking place on fishing vessels and in fish processing areas. Recently, the Thai Government, suppliers and retailers have been spurred to action to eliminate forced labour and human trafficking from seafood supply chains, including collaborating through new multi-stakeholder initiatives (MSIs). This paper explores different examples of collaboration between the public sector, industry and civil society to combat forced labor and trafficking in Thailand's fishing industry. Confucius Classroom is an educational institute established in primary and secondary schools in various countries including Thailand to spread Chinese culture and language. At present, research on Confucius Classrooms in Thailand is little, so this study attempts to examine the approaches used by Confucius Classrooms in teaching Chinese language and spreading Chinese culture in Thai schools and to what extent they contribute to mutual understanding between Chinese and Thai teachers. This study explored determinants of the utilization of three types of maternal health services in Myanmar: antenatal care (ANC), institutional delivery, and postnatal care (PNC), testing in particular the predisposing factors, enabling factors and perceived need factors. This study used a secondary dataset drawn from the Myanmar Demographic and Health Survey 2015-16 (MDHS). In this nationally representative survey, the number of households that were originally involved was 12,500, among which 12,885 women and 4,737 men were interviewed. Decolonial Epistemology And The Future Of Thai Ir Theory, Chyatat Supachalasai

This article aims to propose decolonial epistemology derived from an intellectual development of critical Latin American thinkers by suggesting it as a crucial lesson for the future development of Thai International Relations (IR) theory. It begins by addressing the limitations of postcolonial theory, and arguing that postcolonial theory does not connect its intellectual implications to the traumatised beings, either human beings or non-human beings, globally. Arguably, postcolonial theory is not instrumental for the construction of non-Western IR theories, including Thai IR theory. Therefore, the article deviates from postcolonial theory to highlight what Ramón Grosfoguel calls 'decolonial turn', a decolonisation from …

The article employs the notion of 'forced choice' to reflect on and interrogate four key theoretical dilemmas in the IR scholarship in Thailand: (1) whether Thai IR is an art of the state or an academic discipline; (2) whether it is a 'problem-solving' or 'critical' theory; (3) whether there is a Thai IR theory; and (4) whether it should be a consensual field of study. It makes a case for a refusal of these forced choices. This research paper presents a comparative study on economic development planning organizations in Thailand and South Korea during 1960-1980. Most economists have so far explained Thailand's relative lack of progress in economic development compared to Korea in terms of differences in economic policies. This article aims to explore the historical development of Buddhist nationalism in Myanmar, and the way it has been politicized by the state. According to the study, political legitimacy has been constructed by the revival of Buddhist nationalism in two ways. First, it is through policy implementation and legislation of religious protection laws, which declare Buddhism's superiority in Myanmar and to segregate as well as discriminate against non-Buddhists in the conduct of their daily lives. An analysis of the ideas and concepts of, and within, the "Philosophy of Sufficiency Economy" has been conducted on the presupposition that the ethics of Buddhism and the notion of science are two underlying tenets of this philosophy. The compatibility of ideas between Buddhism and science has been generally recognized, especially on the issue of causality in human experience, but it requires more than an assertion of this compatibility if one wishes to render it meaningful and practical. การวิจัยนี้เป็นการศึกษาอิทธิพลของโลกาภิวัตน์ทางเศรษฐกิจที่มีต่อประเทศสังคมนิยม โดยเป็นการศึกษาบรรษัทข้ามชาติจากประเทศกำลังพัฒนาที่ไปลงทุนทางตรง (Foreign Direct Investment, FDI) ในรัฐสังคมนิยมโดยใช้กรณีศึกษาของบรรษัทข้ามชาติจากประเทศไทย ได้แก่ เครือเจริญโภคภัณฑ์ (CP) ปูนซิเมนต์ไทย (SCG) และกลุ่มไทยซัมมิท (Thai Summit) ที่ไปลงทุนในสาธารณรัฐสังคมนิยมเวียดนาม วัตถุประสงค์ต้องการทราบว่าโลกาภิวัตน์ทางเศรษฐกิจที่มีตัวแสดงสำคัญคือบรรษัทข้ามชาติมีอิทธิพลหรือไม่อย่างไรในเวียดนาม และ ต้องการทราบว่าบรรษัทข้ามชาติไทยจะมีอิทธิพลในฐานะตัวแสดงทางการเมืองระหว่างประเทศในกรณีการลงทุนในสาธารณรัฐสังคมนิยมเวียดนามหรือไม่ อย่างไร การศึกษานี้ใช้วิธีการในเชิงคุณภาพโดยการศึกษาสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกผู้ให้ข้อมูลหลัก 49 ท่าน ประกอบกับการศึกษาตำรา บทความ ตลอดจนสื่อสารมวลชนต่างๆ ผลการศึกษาพบว่า เวียดนามไม่สามารถหลีกเลี่ยงจากอิทธิพลของโลกาภิวัตน์ทางเศรษฐกิจได้ แต่มีปัจจัยสำคัญคือ การเป็นรัฐเผด็จการคอมมิวนิสต์ การปลูกฝังค่านิยมตามแนวทางขงจี๊อ และค่านิยมรักชาติ เป็นเครื่องมือตลอดจนเป็นภูมิคุ้มกันสำคัญ ในการสนับสนุนให้เวียดนามเป็นตัวแสดงที่มียุทธศาสตร์ และสามารถอยู่ท่ามกลางโลกาภิวัตน์ทางเศรษฐกิจได้ ในมิติของการเป็นตัวแสดงทางการเมืองของบรรษัทข้ามชาติไทย ผู้วิจัยพบว่าในระยะเริ่มแรกของการเข้าไปลงทุน ซีพีมีฐานะเป็นตัวแสดงทางการเมืองระหว่างประเทศเนื่องจากการครอบครองเทคโนโลยีทางการเกษตร และจะมีส่วนสำคัญในการแก้ปัญหาด้านเศรษฐกิจและการเกษตรที่เวียดนามเผชิญอยู่ เอสซีจีไม่มีฐานะในการเป็นตัวแสดงทางการเมืองระหว่างประเทศจากปรัชญาการทำธุรกิจของบริษัท ขณะที่ไทยซัมมิทไม่มีบทบาทในฐานะตัวแสดงการเมืองระหว่างประเทศโดยการลงทุนของไทยซัมมิทนั้นได้ประโยชน์ในฐานะที่อยู่ในห่วงโซ่การผลิตยานยนต์ที่ได้รับการสนับสนุนเป็นอย่างดีอยู่แล้ว การดำเนินธุรกิจในระยะต่อมาพบว่าซีพีไม่มีฐานะเป็นตัวแสดงทางการเมืองระหว่างประเทศเนื่องจากปัญหาด้านการเกษตรในเวียดนามได้รับการแก้ไข เอสซีจีในเวียดนามไม่มีฐานะเป็นตัวแสดงทางการเมืองระหว่างประเทศด้วยตัวเอง แต่สามารถใช้ความเข้มแข็งในประเทศผลักดันนโยบายผ่านตัวแสดงทางเมืองของไทยได้ ในขณะที่การลงทุนของไทยซัมมิทยังคงเป็นไปในลักษณะเช่นเดิม
