Epidemiological studies have revealed that exposure to atmospheric nitrogen dioxide (NO2) increases the risk of acute and chronic diseases. This study used the WHO AirQ model to assess both the short- and long-term impacts of NO2 on human health in the city of Agadir in Morocco. The mean NO2 values were obtained from measurements taken at two locations. This study was performed in order to identify the role and work mechanism of the 33 junkshops in the recovery of valuable recyclable materials for further processing by the next level hierarchy of recycling chain actors in Iloilo City, Philippines. In the current context where all sectors aim to promote sustainable development, hospitals, as large organizations with significant human interactions, face challenges in managing not only medical waste but also general waste such as water bottles. Improper management of these wastes can lead to environmental problems and high disposal costs. This study performed a life cycle assessment (LCA) of regular (petroleum-based) and alternative (bio-based) polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles used in Ramathibodi Hospital, Thailand, to identify effective strategies for mitigating environmental impacts. Global warming and rapid urban growth, compounded by the urban heat island (UHI) effect, are posing substantial challenges for urban populations and ecological well-being due to increased heat stress risks. This study aimed to analyze the spatiotemporal patterns of land surface temperature (LST), UHI, and potential heat stress risk areas (PHSRA) in two distinct cities, an inland city, Nakhon Ratchasima, and a coastal city, Si Racha, during the summer. Agriculture is vital to Sumbawa Regency's economy, with key activities such as rice cultivation, corn production, onion farming, and cattle rearing. This study applies artificial neural networks (ANN) to predict land cover changes, focusing on agricultural land expansion. Using land cover datasets from ESRI, digital elevation model, and topographical maps, we analyzed land cover changes from 2017 to 2023 and generated future projections for 2050 with the MOLUSCE plugin in qGIS. The predictive model achieved an 85% accuracy rate when comparing 2023 actual data with predictions. Results indicate a significant increase in agricultural land cover by 2050. The key finding …

Due to the increased usage of tires, the accumulation of worn tires has become a significant environmental concern and necessitates environmentally friendly waste management strategies. Conventional methods, such as tire incineration or improper disposal, contribute to environmental degradation. It is reported that organisms, such as Tenebrio molitor larvae, can degrade a wide range of polymers. This study explores the promising potential of Tenebrio molitor larvae in addressing this concern. Through a series of experiments, Tenebrio molitor larvae were fed with cut-worn tires to facilitate degradation. The aim of the present work was to examine the hydrocarbon degradation potential of yeasts isolated from the mangrove sediments. Mangrove sediments around the world were considered to be heavily polluted with oil contaminants and the microbes dwelling in them were believed to be highly active in metabolizing and detoxifying the oil fractions. In the present study, 70 yeast isolates were screened for their lipolytic activity qualitatively and 35 of them which showed comparatively higher lipolysis were tested for their crude oil degradation ability. Mangroves are vital in coastal ecology and for sustaining and securing coastal communities. However, several factors such as human activities and climate change have changed mangroves' quantity and quality. This research analyses land-use/land cover (LULC) changes focusing on mangroves in Mui Ca Mau National Park (MCMNP) from 1995-2022. Collected Landsat imagery in 1995, 2003, and 2022 were applied to perform this research. Overall accuracy and Kappa of land cover classification were 88.5% and 0.86 in 2003, and 87.6% and 0.85 in 2022, respectively. This study aims to establish the optimal regression model for predicting total suspended solids (TSS) and Turbidity based on in situ data and spectral regions of Sentinel-2 images. Various machine learning models were evaluated, including Multilayer Perceptron Regression (MLPR), Random Forest Regression (RFR), AdaBoost Regression (ABR), Multiple Linear Regression (MLR), and K-Nearest Neighbors Regression (KNNR). These models were applied to different band combinations of spectral regions: visible (VIS), near-infrared (NIR), shortwave-infrared (SWIR), VIS+NIR (VNIR), and VIS+NIR+SWIR (VNIR+SWIR). In this study, data were collected and analyzed by triangulation from in-depth interviews across 32 case studies of academics, community leaders, civil servants, government officials, pensioners, and representatives of non-profit organizations (NGOs). The research found a significant emergence of diversity among leaders in the Thai context compared with the past, tending toward individualistic characteristics. บทคัดย่อ

การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างรายได้ประชาชาติต่อหัวของประชากรกับอายุคาดเฉลี่ยด้วยวิธีการทดสอบความสัมพันธ์เชิงเหตุและผลของ Granger Causality ข้อมูลที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์เป็นข้อมูลทุติยภูมิ (Secondary data) ของประเทศในกลุ่ม CLMV (C: ราชอาณาจักรกัมพูชา L: สาธารณรัฐประชาธิปไตยประชาชนลาว M: สาธารณรัฐแห่งสหภาพเมียนมา V: สาธารณรัฐสังคมนิยมเวียดนาม) เป็นประเภทอนุกรมเวลา โดยมีลักษณะเป็นรายปี ตั้งแต่ปี 2000-2018 ผลการศึกษาอายุคาดเฉลี่ยของกลุ่มประเทศ CLMV ทั้งประชากรชายและหญิง พบว่า การทดสอบความนิ่งของข้อมูล ค่าสัมประสิทธิ์ของ ADF test และ KPSS test ณ ระดับนัยสำคัญ 0.05 ที่ระดับต่างๆ และทำการทดสอบ Residual Tests พบว่า ไม่พบปัญหา Autocorrelation และไม่พบปัญหา Heteroscedasticity หลังจากนั้นได้ทำการทดสอบระดับความยากของค่าล่า (lag length) ที่เหมาะสม ผลการทดสอบสมมติฐานเชิงเหตุเชิงผล (Granger Causality) พบว่า การเติบโตทางเศรษฐกิจเป็นต้นเหตุของอายุคาดเฉลี่ยของประชากรชายหญิงของประเทศราชอาณาจักรกัมพูชา และสาธารณรัฐแห่งสหภาพเมียนมา ประชากรหญิงของสาธารณรัฐประชาธิปไตยประชาชนลาว และประชากรชายของสาธารณรัฐสังคมนิยมเวียดนาม แต่ผลการศึกษาที่ผลกลับกัน คือ อายุคาดเฉลี่ยเป็นต้นเหตุของรายได้ประชาชาติต่อหัวของประชากรชายหญิงของสาธารณรัฐประชาธิปไตยประชาชนลาว ประชากรหญิงของสาธารณรัฐแห่งสหภาพเมียนมา และสาธารณรัฐสังคมนิยมเวียดนาม

This paper explicates the relationship between women’s empowerment and children’s malnutrition by taking Cambodia as a case study and adding new empirical evidence to the debate. Background: In Thailand, there is a lack of studies investigating the assistance provided for children who are economically disadvantaged. Therefore, in this study, we aimed to develop assistance specifically designed for economically disadvantaged students (EDSs) which takes into account both psychological and social dimensions.

Methods: We utilized a design-based research (DBR) approach for a study with 33 participants. The key participants consisted of nine Thai EDSs, aged between 13 to 15 with trauma resulting from emotional abuse by parents. อิทธิพลของความเค็มและอัตราการรับน้ำเสียต่อการปลดปล่อยก๊าซมีเทนจากระบบบำบัดน้ำเสียแบบพื้นที่ชุ่มน้ำเทียม, นิสา แก้วแถมทอง, สุวันชัย นิติศรวุฒิ

งานวิจัยนี้เป็นการศึกษาถึงอิทธิพลของความเค็มและอัตราการรับน้ำเสียเข้าระบบบำบัดน้ำเสียแบบพื้นที่ชุ่มน้ำเทียมต่อการปลดปล่อยก๊าซมีเทน โดยใช้ความเค็มในรูปของค่าการนำไฟฟ้า (Electrical Conductivity) สูงถึงระดับ 16 dS/m. และควบคุมระยะเวลาของน้ำเสียให้อยู่ในระบบบำบัด 2-5 วัน ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ค่าเฉลี่ยของการปลดปล่อยก๊าซมีเทน มีค่าอยู่ในช่วง 4.0-75.7 มก./ตร.ม./ชม. ปริมาณการปลดปล่อยก๊าซมีเทนลดลง 40-50% เมื่อน้ำเสียมีความเค็ม 16 dS/m. เนื่องจากความเค็มยับยั้งกิจกรรมของแบคทีเรียและการเจริญเติบโตของพืชนอกจากนี้ยังพบว่าบริเวณที่อยู่ใกล้กับตำแหน่งที่ปล่อยน้ำเสียเข้าสู่ระบบจะมีการปลดปล่อยก๊าซมีเทนที่สูงกว่า ทั้งนี้เนื่องจากมีปริมาณสารอินทรีย์สะสมอยู่ในบริเวณดังกล่าวมากกว่า อย่างไรก็ตาม การเพิ่มปริมาณสารอินทรีย์ลงในน้ำเสียจะไม่ส่งผลให้มีการปลดปล่อยก๊าชมีเทนที่สูงขึ้นในช่วงเวลากลางวัน เนื่องจากน้ำเสียในระบบมีความลึกไม่มากนักประกอบกับการเกิดกระบวนการสังเคราะห์แสง ซึ่งส่งผล ให้เกิดสภาวะ aerobic ในบริเวณชั้นน้ำ

นักวิทยาศาสตร์ได้มีการตระหนักถึงการรุกรานของชนิดพันธุ์ต่างถิ่นในระบบนิเวศบนบกมาช้านาน แต่เมื่อไม่นานมานี้ที่ได้มีการพบถึงผลกระทบของชนิดพันธุต่างถิ่นที่มีต่อระบบนิเวศทางน้ำ การรุกรานของชนิดพันธุ์ต่างถิ่นมีผลกระทบอย่างมากต่อระบบนิเวศ เศรษฐกิจ และสุขภาพของมนุษย์ การนำชนิดพันธุ์ต่างถิ่นเข้ามาในระบบนิเวศมีได้ 10 รูปแบบ แต่อย่างไรก็ตามชนิดพันธุ์ต่างถิ่นส่วนมากจะถูกนำเข้ามาโดยน้ำอับเถาในเรือส่งสินค้าต่างประเทศขนาดใหญ่ ชนิดพันธุ์ ต่างถิ่นจะสามารถคุกคามต่อระบบนิเวศใหม่ได้สำเร็จนั้นก็ต่อเมื่อชนิดพันธุ์ต่างถิ่นสามารถแพร่กระจายในสิงแวดล้อมใหม่ได้ ปัจจัยที่ส่งเสริมการรุกรานของชนิดพันธุ์ต่างถิ่นมีหลายอย่างประกอบกัน แต่สิ่งที่สำคัญคือ เมล็ดพันธุ์ของชนิดพันธุ์ต่างถิ่นที่เข้ามา ที่อยู่อาศัยใหม่ที่เหมาะสม และความสำเร็จของการรุกรานของชนิดพันธุ์ต่างถิ่นในที่ต่างๆ Global Invasive Species โปรแกรม ได้พัฒนาแนวทาง 10 รูปแบบ สำหรับการป้องกันและแก้ไขปัญหาชนิดพันธุ์ต่างถิ่น แนวทางนี้ควรที่จะมีการปฏิบัติทั้งในระดับประเทศ และระดับนานาชาติ

งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความเป็นไปได้ในการพัฒนาระบบร่วม BPAC-SBR (Combined Biological Powder Activated Carbon-Sequencing Batch Reactor) สำหรับการลดสีและสารอินทรีย์ในน้ำชะมูลฝอยด้วยน้ำเสียที่ใช้เป็นน้ำเสียจากกองฝังกลบขยะมูลฝอยที่กำแพงแสนโดยควบคุมความเข้มข้นซีโอดีเข้าระบบเท่ากับ 1,000 มก./ล. หรือคิดเป็นค่าอัตราภาระบรรทุกซีโอดี 0.571 กก./ลบ.ม.-วัน ความเข้มสีเท่ากับ 170.7 Su ทั้งนี้ศึกษาถึงผลของชนิดและปริมาณผงถ่านกัมมันต์ที่ความเข้มข้นต่างๆ และ อายุสลัดจ์ของระบบที่ 20 และ 30 วัน จากผลการศึกษาพบว่าระบบที่เติมผงถ่านกัมมันต์ชนิด PL-75 ด้วยความเข้มข้น 20 ก./ล. และอายุสลัดจ์ของระบบที่ 20 วัน สามารถกำจัดซีโอดี และสีได้ สูงถึง75.6และ 75.4% ตามลำดับสำหรับกลไกการบำบัดน้ำเสียของระบบส่วนใหญ่เกิดจากการดูดติดผิวร่วมกับปฏิกิริยาชีวเคมี ภายในถังปฏิกรณ์

การศึกษาการบำบัดโลหะในน้ำเสียจากห้องปฏิบัติการวิเคราะห์คุณภาพน้ำด้วยชานอ้อย มีวัตถุประสงค์ในการ ศึกษาประสิทธิภาพในการดูดซับ สภาวะที่เหมาะสม และค่าใช้จ่ายในการบำบัด ซึ่งโลหะที่ปนเปื้อนในน้ำเสีย ได้แก่ โครเมียม, แมกนีเซียม, เหล็ก, แมงกานีส, แคดเมียม, เงิน และปรอท ทำการวิเคราะห์ด้วยเครื่อง Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP) และ Mercury Analyzer และทำการทดสอบนัยสำคัญของข้อมูลด้วยวิธี Turkey's Honesty Significant Difference (HSD) ที่ความเชื่อมั่น 95% (p < 0.05) จากผลการศึกษาแสดงให้เห็นว่า สภาวะที่เหมาะสมในการบำบัดโลหะ ได้แก่ พีเอช 9 ปริมาณชานอ้อย 25 กรัมต่อลิตร และระยะเวลาในการสัมผัส 90 นาที กลุ่มชานอ้อยที่มีประสิทธิภาพในการบำบัดสูงที่สุด คือ ชานอ้อยที่ ปรับสภาพ ขนาด 0.045-1.00 มม. และมีความแตกต่างอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (p <0.05) จากชานอ้อยกลุ่มอื่นๆ ซึ่งความเข้มข้นของโลหะภายหลังจากการบำบัดในสภาวะที่เหมาะสม ได้แก่ แคดเมียม 0.021 มก./ลิตร, โครเมียม 0.053 มก./ลิตร, เหล็ก 0.078 มก./ลิตร, ปรอท 3.010 มก./ลิตร, แมกนีเซียม 35.920 มก./ลิตร, แมงกานีส 77.100 มก./ลิตร และเงินไม่สามารถตรวจวัดได้

การบำบัดน้ำเสียฟาร์มสุกรโดยบึงประดิษฐ์, พิจิตรา ชโยปถัมภ์

การวิจัยนี้ได้ทำการศึกษาเพื่อหาประสิทธิภาพการบำบัดน้ำเสียฟาร์มสุกรโดยบึงประดิษฐ์ และเพื่อหาแบบจำลองทางคณิตศาสตร์การกำจัด BOD ของบึงประดิษฐ์โดยใช้น้ำเสียฟาร์มสุกรที่ผ่านการบำบัดขั้นด้นจากบ่อผึ่ง และ ได้ทำการศึกษาบึงประดิษฐ์โดยใช้พืช 2 ชนิด คือ กกกลม (Cyperus corymbosus Rottb.) และ ธูปฤาษี (Typha angustifolia Linn.) ที่เวลากักพัก ชลศาสตร์ 4-27 วัน ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ประสิทธิภาพการกำจัด COD และ BOD อยู่ในช่วง 64-92% TSS อยู่ในช่วง 70-97% TKN อยู่ในช่วง 72-96% NO3N อยู่ในช่วง 47-83% TP อยู่ในช่วง 39-81% และ Total Coliform Bacteria อยู่ในช่วง 52-85% สำหรับแบบจำลองทางคณิตศาสตร์การกำจัด BOD ของบึง ประดิษฐ์คือ Ce/C0 = Fxp(-0.7KTAv 1.75t) ซึ่งจากการวิจัยได้ค่าคงที่ F ของบึงประดิษฐ์กกลมและบึงประดิษฐ์ธูปฤาษีเท่ากับ 0.463 และ 0.566 ตามลำดับ และค่า KT ของบึงประดิษฐ์กกกลมและบึงประดิษฐ์ธูปฤาษีเท่ากับ 0.00012 และ 0.00020 ตามลำดับ โดยสามารถใช้ค่าคงที่ดังกล่าวได้ก็ต่อเมื่อบึงประดิษฐ์มีเวลากักพักชลศาสตร์อยู่ในช่วง 4-27 วัน คำสำคัญ : บึงประดิษฐ์ การบำบัดน้ำเสียฟาร์มสุกร, แบบจำลองทางคณิตศาสตร์การกำจัด BOD

ประสิทธิภาพของถ่านกัมมันต์ที่เตรียมจากกากขี้แป้งของโรงงานน้ำยางข้นในการกำจัดตะกั่วและปรอทในน้ำเสียสังเคราะห์, ธเรศ ศรีสถิตย์, ปนัดดา คำรัตน์, วรรธนา วงษ์สุด

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความเป็นไปได้ในของเสีย คือ การนำกากขี้แป้งจากโรงงานน้ำยางข้น มาเป็น วัตถุดิบในการผลิตเป็นถ่านกัมมันต์ โดยได้ศึกษาประสิทธิภาพของการกำจัดตะกั่วและปรอทในน้ำเสียสังเคราะห์ เปรียบเทียบระหว่างถ่านกัมมันต์ที่จำหน่ายตามท้องตลาดทั่วไปกับถ่านกัมมันต์ที่ผลิตจากกากขี้แป้งที่ใช้เกลือแกงเป็นสารกระตุ้น และทำการล้างสารกระตุ้นด้วยกรดไฮโดรคลอริค 5% เมื่อนำไปศึกษาลักษณะทางกายภาพ พบว่าถ่านขี้แป้งมีค่าไอโอดีนนัมเบอร์ 510 มิลลิกรัมไอโอดีนต่อกรัม ถ่านกัมมันต์ และมีพื้นที่ผิว 566.39 ตารางเมตรต่อกรัม จากนั้นได้ทำการทดลองแบบแบตซ์ เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการดูดติดผิวตะกั่วและปรอท ได้แก่ พีเอช ความเข้มข้นของโลหะหนัก และปริมาณถ่าน โดยใช้การทดสอบไอโซเทอมการดูดติดผิวแบบฟรุนดลิช พบว่า ที่พีเอช 4 และความเข้มข้น 10 มิลลิกรัม/ลิตร มีเปอร์เซ็นต์การกำจัดตะกั่วและปรอทดีที่สุด จากการทดสอบไอโซเทอม การดูดติดผิวแบบฟรุนดลิชโดยใช้น้ำเสียสังเคราะห์แสดงให้เห็นว่าถ่านกัมมันต์ที่ผลิตจากกากขี้แป้งมีความสามารถในการดูดติดผิวตะกั่วและปรอทได้ 116.18 และ 18.78 มิลลิกรัมต่อกรัมถ่านกัมมันต์ตามลำดับ และถ่านกัมมันต์ที่จำหน่าย ทั่วไป มีความสามารถในการดูดติดผิวตะกั่วและปรอทได้11.07 และ 98.85 มิลลิกรัมต่อกรัมถ่านกัมมันต์ ตามลำดับ การทดสอบแบบต่อเนื่องในคอลัมน์ได้ใช้ถ่านขี้แป้งที่มีดินเหนียวเป็นวัสดุเชื่อมประสาน และทำการป้อนนำเสียอย่างต่อเนื่องแบบไหลลง ด้วยอัตราการไหล 3 แกลลอน/(นาที-ลูกบาศก์ฟุต) พบว่าถ่านกัมมันต์ที่ชั้นความสูง 30, 60, 90 และ 120 เซนติเมตร สามารถบำบัดตะกั่วในน้ำเสียได้ 5865.58, 3910.39, 3909.50 และ 3054.47 BV ตามลำดับ และสามารถบำบัดปรอทได้ 28.87, 16.04, 11.76 และ 9.62 BV ตามลำดับ จากผลการทดลองแบบฟรุนดลิชและแบบต่อเนื่องแสดงให้เห็นว่ากัมมันต์ที่ผลิตจากกากขี้แป้งมีความเหมาะสมในการกำจัดตะกั่วมากกว่าปรอท

การวิจัยนี้เป็นการศึกษาความสามารถในการเป็นสารสร้างตะกอน (Coagulant) และสารช่วยสร้างตะกอน (Coagulant aid) ของกากของเสียอุตสาหกรรมเพื่อนำกากของเลียมาใช้ในการบำบัดน้ำเสียโดยมีการทดลองนำกากของเสียอุตสาหกรรม 4 ชนิด ได้แก่เถ้าลอย, เศษยางพาราของโรงงานผลิตน้ำยางข้น,กากของเสียจากอุตสาหกรรมทำ กาวยางและกากตะกอนจากระบบทำน้ำประปา ทั้งนี้ได้ทำการวิเคราะห์คุณสมบัติพื้นฐานทางกายภาพและเคมี,การวัดประจุของสารช่วยตกตะกอน และทำการประเมินความสามารถในการเป็นสารตกตะกอนและสารช่วยตกตะกอนเทียบ กับการใช้สารส้มเพียงอย่างเดียว ผลการทดลองพบว่าคุณสมบัติของกากของเสียอุตสาหกรรมที่นำมาทำการวิเคราะห์มีประจุเป็นลบ จึงเหมาะกับการเป็นสารตกตะกอนร่วมกับสารส้มในการทดลองใช้กากของเสียอุตสาหกรรมเป็นโคแอกกูแลนด์นั้นพบว่าสามารถกำจัดความขุ่นได้ดีในช่วง 100-200 NTU ส่วนที่ความขุ่น 300 NTU ประสิทธิภาพในการกำจัดความขุ่นจะลดลง สำหรับประสิทธิภาพในการกำจัดความขุ่นเมื่อใช้กากของเสียอุตสาหกรรมมาเป็นโคแอกกูแลนด์นั้น มีอยู่ในช่วงร้อยละ 30-85 ที่ pH 6-8 และเมื่อนำกากของเสียอุตสาหกรรมไปตกตะกอนร่วมกับสารส้ม พบว่าประสิทธิภาพในกำจัดความขุ่นเพิ่มขึ้นเมื่อเทียบกับการใช้สารส้มเพียงอย่างเดียว ความสามารถในการลดความขุ่นของกากของเสียอุตสาหกรรมแต่ละชนิด แตกต่างกัน โดยเถ้าลอย,กากของเสียจากอุตสาหกรรมทำกาวยาง และกากตะกอนจากระบบทำน้ำประปามีค่าประสิทธิภาพในการลดความขุ่นลงได้ร้อยละ 98.5,97.5 และ 96.5 ตามลำดับ สำหรับเศษยางพาราของโรงงานผลิตน้ำยางข้นไม่เหมาะในการใช้เป็นสารตกตะกอนเนื่องจากฟล้อคไม่แข็งแรง สำหรับค่าใช้จ่ายในการจัดทำสารโคแอกกูแลนด์จากกากของเสียอุตสาหกรรมคิดเป็น 2.5 บาทต่อกิโลกรัม ส่วนสารส้มคิดในราคา 6 บาทต่อกิโลกรัม ดังนั้นการนำกากของเสียอุตสาหกรรมมาช่วยสร้างตะกอน จึงมีราคาถูกกว่าการใช้สารส้มทั้งหมด และสำหรับเถ้าลอยนั้นไม่มีค่าใช้จ่ายในการจัดทำ จึงควรพิจารณามาใช้เป็นสารช่วยสร้าง ตะกอนร่วมกับการสารส้มในการบำบัดน้ำเสีย.

Background: This hospital-based cross-sectional study aimed to examine the association between diabetes-specific quality of life (QoL), diabetes-related clinical characteristics and glycemic control among type 2 diabetes (T2DM) patients.

Methods: 335 T2DM patients receiving treatment at the diabetes clinic of a tertiary hospital in Bangkok, Thailand, were recruited into the study. The Audit of Diabetes-Dependent Quality of Life (ADDQoL19) was used to assess QoL. The ADDQoL scores were split into two groups using quartiles. The group in the lower quartile was considered as “having low QoL.” Hemoglobin A1c (A1C) was used as an index of glycemic control.

Background: Workplace violence against nurses has increased attention worldwide. This study aimed to investigate the prevalence of workplace violence (WPV) and related factors against frontline nurses in a university hospital in Bangkok, Thailand.

Method: A cross-sectional study was conducted among 275 nurses. Bivariate and multivariate logistic regression was applied to identify any associations.

Results: Findings indicated that the prevalence of psychological WPV was 60.0% and physical WPV was 9.1%. Factors associated with physical WPV included working in the emergency, outpatient or psychiatric examination units (aOR= 4.62; 95% CI: 1.86-11.50). The river water quality index (RWQI) of the upper Ganga canal has been computed to assess the effect of lockdown and unlock phases lead down by COVID-19 in India. Geospatial distribution of RWQI from January 2019 to December 2021 in the study area revealed significant impacts of lockdown on water quality. However, unlock phases (post lockdown) have deteriorated water quality since August 2020 and reached to actual conditions of the river by August 2021.
