This collection consists of scripts for five WPBY programs. Each program is divided into tapes. Program one is composed of three tapes, while programs two through four are composed of two, and program five is composed of three. These tapes are transcripts of televised conversations with Jim Comstock in 1980, where Comstock speaks with the host “Dick” about subjects relevant to West Virginia, including poetry, politics, his lived experiences, and history.

Miss Enslow collected numerous newspaper and magazine clippings on a variety of subjects, especially those dealing with socially prominent individuals on the local, national, and international levels. Too, she saved many items of correspondence between members of her family. Magazines, booklets, scrapbooks, and books are also included in this part of the collection. Most notable among the books is the Kelly Family Bible, which belonged to her maternal ancestors.

Tyler commenting on his purchase of six copies of her book “Facts and Falsehoods”; and asks him to read “The Master of Red Leaf.”

Ms. Enslow was a Huntington, West Virginia journalist. Photographs and slides comprise a major portion of this collection. Many of the photographs were for use by the newspaper; there are also a great number of informal snapshots, family photographs, and photographs of Miss Enslow herself. Photographs of notable persons and old photographic portraits dating from the 19th century complete this part of the collection. The slides are primarily those which Miss Enslow took in Europe while she was tour director for the Huntington Publishing Company.
