Background: Adolescent dating violence (DV) perpetration is a significant public health issue affecting millions of adolescents in the United States. Adverse childhood experiences such as household dysfunction (HD) have been exhibited to be risk factors for DV perpetration during adolescence and adulthood. Furthermore, the literature is scant regarding how positive parent-child relationships can mitigate these risk factors and decrease HD-related consequences among sixth-grade adolescents. This study aimed to evaluate whether the assignment of dedicated triage nurses could reduce triage procedure time in the ED. The study employed an observational cross-sectional design using secondary data extracted from the Hospital Information System (HIS) at XYZ Private Hospital, Bogor. A medical resume serves as a vital document that compiles essential information related to a patient’s clinical management. In 2019, the completeness rate of medical resume documentation at Pesawaran Regional General Hospital was only 37.4%. This study aimed to identify factors influencing the completeness of medical resume documentation by doctors through a quantitative, cross-sectional design involving 37 inpatient care doctors. Data were collected via questionnaires and direct observation, then analyzed using univariate, bivariate (Chi-Square), and multivariate (Logistic Regression) methods. This study aims to evaluate the impact of implementing an Emergency Department Observation Unit (EDOU) combined with an Emergency Medicine (EM) specialist-led disposition process on ED LOS at a national referral hospital in Indonesia. The United States has long addressed physician shortages by recruiting international medical graduates (IMGs), often from low- and- middle income countries. This "brain drain" deprives already fragile health systems and adds to worldwide health disparities. New state legislation has eased licensing standards for IMGs and generated variable training pathways creating patient safety risk in underserved groups. At the same time, the U.S. has a sustainable, highly trained, and proven ready workforce: physician associates (PA). The purpose of this study was to understand the impact of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic and mitigation efforts on health and social outcomes for people with HIV at the individual, social, and structural levels of the Social Ecological Model. The International Nursing Network for HIV collected data for a cross-sectional survey of people with HIV in Botswana, Canada, Colombia, Hong Kong, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Thailand, and the United States from August 2021 through June 2023. [Purpose/significance] This study aims to identify the expertise domains of medical experts, and evaluates their domain levels to provide a basis for community expert recommendation.

[Method/process] This study utilized the improved OneRel model to structure community historical Q&A into entity relation triples. Then used the knowledge graph triples to test the consistency between the medical knowledge in the community Q&A and the domain knowledge, and finally obtained the doctor's domain levels by aggregating in each expertise domain.

Background Idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH) is a neurological condition characterized by elevated intracranial CSF pressure without demonstratable evident causes. The mechanisms leading to a particular predilection for women of childbearing age who are overweight and obese or who have recent rapid weight changes remain imprecisely described. If undiagnosed, it can progress to disabling irreversible visual loss. Weight loss is useful in addition to medical therapy in treating the condition. Introduction

Uterine fibroids are a common cause of infertility, and myomectomy remains a key surgical intervention to improve reproductive outcomes. However, the occurrence of an undetected pregnancy during myomectomy is rare and poses significant clinical risks.

Case Presentation

We report a 34-year-old woman, nulliparous with a history of secondary infertility and three first-trimester miscarriages. She had multiple fibroids and was managed for polycystic ovarian syndrome and hyperprolactinemia. Scheduled for abdominal myomectomy, the surgery proceeded uneventfully, with six fibroids removed and no breach of the endometrial cavity. Electronic Health Records (EHR) contain a wealth of structured and unstructured patient data that can be leveraged for computable phenotyping, the process of algorithmically identifying patient cohorts with specific diseases or conditions. Traditional rule-based phenotyping approaches, while interpretable, often struggle with scalability, portability across institutions, and effective use of unstructured clinical narratives. Recent advances in large language models (LLMs) present new opportunities for synthesizing complex free-text information into concise, clinically meaningful representations. Healthcare providers are well-positioned to connect families to home visiting services; however, structural barriers in clinical settings limit consistent and effective referral practices.
