This study investigates the effectiveness of the UCC-IAQ program in Thai childcare centers, focusing on BRS and indoor air pollution. It involves 81 childcare workers in Nonthaburi and Saraburi provinces, Over eight hours, air quality measurements were taken at ten settings. Data on BRS and building-related factors were collected via surveys. Statistically significant differences in pollution levels were not observed between the UCC-IAQ program's intervention and comparison groups. However, the intervention group experienced a significant decrease in BRS compared to the comparison group. This study aimed to compare the perception of gender equality between male and female staff across three different sport federations. Sports have been stereotyped with genders for decades. This study aimed to investigate the effects of co-ingestion of HBCD and dietary nitrate on physiological responses and endurance capacity in recreational endurance runners compared with an isocaloric HBCD beverage, a maltodextrin-dietary nitrate beverage, and a maltodextrin beverage during high-intensity prolong running. Microplastics pollution effects are increasingly observed as new studies emerge in different ecosystem and organismal levels. It is becoming clear that exposure to different types of microplastic can impair the nonspecific immune system of crustaceans. Therefore, this study investigated the impact of high-density polyethylene microplastic particles (HDPE-MP) in feed on nonspecific immune system gene expression of Pacific white shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei). The extent of CDV exposure in captive carnivores in Thailand has never been estimated before. During 2014-2015, several outbreaks of PEDV occurred in many provinces in Thailand, and the clinical signs were more severe than those of classical PEDV in Thailand during 2008-2012. The primary goal of this research was to assess the situation analysis and knowledge, attitude, and practices (KAP) of poultry practitioner veterinarians (PPV) and broiler poultry farmers (BPF) regarding antimicrobial use (AMU) and antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in Nepal. The study area covered approximately 88.1% of Nepal's poultry population. A total of 327 PPV from 56 districts and 500 BPF from 40 districts of seven provinces participated. AMU situation and demographic information were collected and analyzed using descriptive statistics and logistic regression analysis to determine associations between variables. However, in post-transplantation, the autoimmune destruction incidentally attacks the activity and survival of beta-cells are reported in animal and human. To address these concerns, the generation of immortalized, biocompatible beta-cells, and the engraftment platform are insightfully investigated. Porcine proliferative enteropathy (PPE), also known as porcine ileitis, is an enteric infectious disease caused by Lawsonia intracellularis. Porcine ileitis has been an economic threat to the global pork production system due to various types of diarrheas. Serological diagnosis can be applied for determining pathogen-antibodies seroprevalence and the timing of L. intracellularis infection when introduced to the herd. This study aimed to describe the AMR characteristics and transferable R plasmids in Escherichia coli isolated from meat ducks reared in an open house system. One hundred seventy-seven (n=177) commensal E. coli were previously isolated from duck cloacal swabs. In this study, all were biochemically confirmed and examined for their susceptibilities to 15 antimicrobial agents by broth microdilution method. Transfer of R plasmids was tested by biparental mating method followed by plasmid replicon typing (PBRT) and plasmid multi-locus sequence typing (pMLST). We identified the five variants from five families, three were novel, comprising c.739delA (p.(Ser247Valfs*)), c.901C>T (p.(Gln301*)), and c.1081C>T (p.(Gln361*)) and two were reported, comprising c.673C>T (p.Arg225Trp) and c.674G>A (p.Arg225Gln). In recent years, myofunctional therapy has emerged as a noninvasive treatment modality for patients suffering from obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), owing to its lower cost and reduced risk of serious side effects compared to other therapeutic options. Furthermore, myofunctional therapy may be considered for patients who cannot tolerate continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) or oral appliances. การศึกษานี้จึงมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาระดับความรู้และทัศนคติต่อภาวะหยุดหายใจขณะหลับจากการอุดกั้นของทันตแพทย์ในประเทศไทยจำนวน 494 คน ระหว่างเดือนกรกฎาคมถึงกันยายน พ.ศ.2565 โดยใช้แบบสอบถามออนไลน์ประกอบด้วย 3 ส่วนได้แก่ ข้อมูลทั่วไป ความรู้ และทัศนคติ ผลการศึกษาพบว่าทันตแพทย์มีระดับความรู้น้อย จำนวน 275 คน (ร้อยละ 56.9) เกี่ยวกับคำจำกัดความของโรค พยาธิสรีรวิทยา การวินิจฉัยและการรักษา และผลคะแนนความรู้มีความแตกต่างอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับความเชื่อมั่นร้อยละ 95 ของคะแนนความรู้ระหว่างทันตแพทย์ที่เคยฝึกอบรมและไม่เคยฝึกอบรมเกี่ยวกับภาวะหยุดหายใจขณะหลับจากการอุดกั้น ทั้งในและนอกระบบมหาวิทยาลัยทันตแพทยศาสตร์บัณฑิต และระหว่างทันตแพทย์ที่เคยมีประสบการณ์และไม่เคยมีประสบการณ์ในการตรวจคัดกรองผู้ป่วยที่มีภาวะหยุดหายใจขณะหลับจากการอุดกั้น แต่พบว่าทันตแพทย์ผู้ร่วมวิจัยส่วนใหญ่มีทัศนคติเชิงบวกต่อความสำคัญว่าภาวะหยุดหายใจขณะหลับจากการอุดกั้นอาจคุกคามถึงชีวิต และมีความมั่นใจในการตรวจคัดกรองและให้การจัดการภาวะหยุดหายใจขณะหลับจากการอุดกั้น โดยจำนวนร้อยละ 76 เห็นด้วยอย่างยิ่งว่าภาวะหยุดหายใจขณะหลับจากการอุดกั้นเป็นโรคที่มีความสำคัญเพราะอาจคุกคามถึงชีวิตได้ สรุปว่าทันตแพทย์ไทยยังมีระดับความรู้น้อยแต่มีทัศนคติที่ดีต่อภาวะหยุดหายใจขณะหลับจากการอุดกั้น บ่งชี้ให้เห็นว่าทันตแพทย์เห็นคุณค่า รวมถึงให้ความสำคัญและเต็มใจที่จะเรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับภาวะหยุดหายใจขณะหลับจากการอุดกั้น

ที่มา: โรคไตเรื้อรังส่งผลให้เกิดความผิดปกติของสมดุลแร่ธาตุและกระดูก ซึ่งเป็นปัจจัยหนึ่งในการเกิดโรคหัวใจและหลอดเลือด นำไปสู่ความเจ็บป่วยและการเสียชีวิตที่เพิ่มมากขึ้น แม้ว่าการปลูกถ่ายไตเป็นวิธีที่ดีที่สุดในการรักษาผู้ป่วยโรคไตเรื้อรังระยะสุดท้าย อย่างไรก็ตามพบว่าความชุกของโรคหลอดเลือดในผู้ที่ปลูกถ่ายไตยังค่อนข้างสูง การประเมิน ป้องกันและการรักษาที่เหมาะสม เป็นปัจจัยสำคัญที่ช่วยลดและป้องกันการเกิดโรคดังกล่าว วัตถุประสงค์งานวิจัย: เพื่อสำรวจความชุกและปัจจัยที่สัมพันธ์กับภาวะสะสมของแคลเซียมในผนังหลอดเลือดและภาวะหลอดเลือดแดงแข็งในผู้ป่วยปลูกถ่ายไต กระบวนการและระเบียบวิธีวิจัย: การศึกษาเชิงพรรณนา เก็บข้อมูลในผู้ป่วยปลูกถ่าย 1 ปีขึ้นไป จำนวน 400 คน ที่โรงพยาบาลจุฬาลงกรณ์ ผู้ป่วยได้รับการตรวจภาพรังสีช่องท้องด้านข้างเพื่อประเมินภาวะสะสมของแคลเซียมในผนังหลอดเลือด กำหนดภาวะสะสมของแคลเซียมในผนังหลอดเลือดอย่างรุนแรง โดยใช้คะแนน AAC ≥ 5.5 และการตรวจ cardio-ankle vascular index (CAVI) เพื่อประเมินภาวะหลอดเลือดแดงแข็ง รวบรวมข้อมูลพื้นฐาน การตรวจทางห้องปฏิบัติการและการรักษา เพื่อประเมินปัจจัยที่สัมพันธ์กับภาวะดังกล่าวโดยใช้สถิติการวิเคราะห์การถดถอยลอจิสติกเชิงพหุ ผลการศึกษา: ความชุกของภาวะสะสมของแคลเซียมในผนังหลอดเลือดและภาวะหลอดเลือดแดงแข็ง ร้อยละ 35.94 และ 27.75 ตามลำดับ ผู้ป่วยที่ผ่าตัดต่อมพาราไทรอยด์ ระดับแคลเซียมในเลือด ระดับอัลบูมินในเลือด และจำนวนชนิดของยาลดความดันโลหิตมีความสัมพันธ์กับการสะสมของแคลเซียมในผนังหลอดเลือด (OR 12.46; 95%CI 4.13-37.61, OR 1.70; 95%CI 1.07-2.70, OR 0.31; 95%CI 0.11-0.90, OR 1.37; 95%CI 1.05-1.79 ตามลำดับ) ความดันโลหิตขณะหัวใจคลายตัว ภาวะสะสมของแคลเซียมในผนังหลอดเลือดอย่างรุนแรง ระดับน้ำตาลในเลือด และระดับไขมัน HDL มีความสัมพันธ์กับภาวะหลอดเลือดแดงแข็ง (OR 1.05; 95%CI 1.01-1.09, OR 2.28; 95%CI 1.16-4.49, OR 0.98; 95%CI 0.96-1.00, OR 0.96; 95%CI 0.93-0.99 ตามลำดับ) ขณะที่อายุที่เพิ่มขึ้นสัมพันธ์กับทั้ง 2 ภาวะ (OR 1.11; 95%CI 1.08-1.16, OR 1.10; 95%CI 1.06-1.15 ตามลำดับ) สรุปผลการศึกษา: ความชุกของภาวะสะสมของแคลเซียมในผนังหลอดเลือดและภาวะหลอดเลือดแดงแข็งในผู้ป่วยปลูกถ่ายไตยังพบค่อนข้างสูง …
