Bladder cancer represents the 6th most common for men and is classified into muscle-invasive bladder cancer (MIBC) and non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC). NMIBC (T1, Ta, Tis), accounting for approximately 75% of new bladder cancer diagnoses, is limited to the mucosa, submucosa, and lamina propria. Studies have approximated the rate of recurrence in NMIBC between 50 - 70%, which sometimes progresses to muscle invasive disease. For example, mitochondria undergo fission and fusion cycles depending on the energetic needs of the cell. Additionally, regulated cell death pathways also function at the mitochondria. Cyclin C is a transcriptional regulator of stress response and growth control genes. Following stress, a portion of cyclin C translocates to the cytoplasm, where it interacts with both the mitochondrial fission and apoptotic machinery. Levetiracetam has a wide margin of safety and patient-friendly pharmacokinetics that distinguish it from other currently available antiepileptic drugs.

Most common side effects are fatigue, somnolence, dizziness, and upper respiratory infection. Neuropsychiatric symptoms are reported. Psychotic symptoms, paranoid ideation, hallucinations, and behavioral problems may occur in adult and pediatric patients. Acute traumatic posterior sternoclavicular (SC) joint dislocation is a serious injury given its potential to cause cardiovascular and airway compromise that typically will require emergent closed reduction. Posterior SC joint dislocations are usually caused by a high energy mechanism. Typical treatment involves closed reduction followed by observation. There is limited data on the rate of return to sport following this injury pattern when treated in a closed fashion.

Intraoperative proximal femur fractures (PFF) occur in 3.7% of total hip arthroplasties (THA) using the standard mallet broaching technique and increase a patient’s risk of revision surgery from 3.4% to 10%. The Depuy KINCISE automatic broaching system is designed to attenuate the risk of these fractures by applying consistent co-linear force to the broach. The aim of this study is to determine if the KINCISE system decreases the rate of intraoperative PFF fracture during THA compared to the standard mallet technique.

Calciphylaxis is a rare vascular disorder that presents with painful skin necrosis due to calcium accumulation in skin and adipose tissue. Most commonly, cutaneous manifestations of calciphylaxis are seen on the buttocks, thighs and extremities. Very few cases have presented unconventional locations of these calcified eschars and ulcers such as the penis and scrotum. Risk factors for this disease include chronic kidney disease, hyperparathyroidism, long-term hemodialysis and diabetes. This case presents an atypical presentation of painless scrotal ulcers.

Over-prescription of pain medication has led to an opioid epidemic in the United States. Many factors can contribute to the amount of pain medication prescribed to patients. The amount of pain medication prescribed to patients is affected by many factors and previous research has shown:
