Since epidemiological associations have demonstrated the effects of long-term air pollution to OSA through a physiological mechanism linking particulate matter exposure to OSA. We enrolled 81 participants from the Excellence Center for Sleep Disorders at King Chulalongkorn Memorial hospital, Bangkok, Thailand. This study consists of two seasons (the wet and the dry seasons), which it started during the period of January in 2016 to April in 2017. Migrant workers are distributor of Plasmodium species and their patterns of migration affected on malaria transmission. The study aimed to identify migration pattern of border migrant people and the factors associated with malaria infection in Myanmar-Thailand border area especially in Tanintharyi region, Myanmar. Routine administration of Sulphadoxine Pyrimethamine (SP) to pregnant women for intermittent preventive treatment (IPTp) of malaria during pregnancy leads to improved maternal health and pregnancy outcomes. This study explores determinants for IPTp-SP utilization among mothers of under-one children in rural Lilongwe, Malawi. Using multi-stage sampling method, this cross sectional study recruited 355 mothers of children under the age of one year from six health facilities. Respondents were aged 18-49 years and were interviewed using an interviewer-administered questionnaire. This study aimed to identify the patterns of heroin use, risk behaviors and level of addiction among male prisoners in Sri Lanka. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the court-type traditional Thai massage (CTTM) in treating patients suffering from frozen shoulder in comparison with topical diclofenac (TD). A randomized controlled trial was conducted at the Thai Traditional Medical Service Center, Sukhothai Thammatirat University, Nonthaburi province. The participants of idiopathic frozen shoulder were diagnosed by the orthopedic doctor. The present study was performed to determine the differences of some seminal plasma proteins, i.e., glutathione peroxidase 5 (GPX5) and fibronectin 1 (FN1), and some spermatozoa proteins, i.e., triosephosphate isomerase (TPI) and ACRBP (acrosin binding protein), in the boar semen having good and poor freezability. This study aimed at examining the effects of different concentrations of hydroxyethyl starch (HES) on quality of equine sperm following cold storage and cryopreservation. In experiment 1, the semen was collected from 6 stallions (3 replicates). The semen was diluted with extender for cold storage containing different concentrations of HES (2.5%, 5%, 10% and 15%). Extender without HES (0% HES) served as a control group. The temperature of extended semen was gradually decreased to 4 ºC. However, the information on establishment of rabbit pluripotent stem cells (PSC) and differentiation potential especially cardiac differentiation in this species has been limited. This research aimed at establishing and examining in vitro cardiogenesis of rabbit embryonic stem cells (ESC) and rabbit induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC). Comparative study was conducted to measure urinary N-acetyl-β-glucosaminidase (NAG), urinary glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) and plasma glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) in cats with feline idiopathic cystitis (FIC). A standard questionnaire was designed to gather information for all cats including signalment, characteristics, environment, type of food and management of the cats’ litter box to evaluate the risk factors for developing FIC. Blood and urine samples were collected from 19 clinically normal cats and 19 aged and sex matched cats with FIC. Study involved with potassium channel KCa3.1 blocker (triarylmethane-34; TRAM-34) in doxorubicin (DOX)-induced feline kidney cells was performed. The study was divided into two parts. In part I, subtoxic dose of TRAM-34 in feline kidney cell lines was studied to determine the cytotoxicity of TRAM-34 in feline kidney cells by cytotoxicity assay. In part II, feline kidney cell lines were incubated with appropriate dose and time of TRAM-34 pretreatment for 24 h or 30 min and post-treatment for 24 h condition in DOX-induced cell toxicity. This study aimed to determine the dynamics of serological and virological profiles against Porcine Circovirus type 2 (PCV2) infection in Thai swine herds using the in-house indirect ELISA and real-time PCR techniques. A total of 10 swine herds in Thailand were divided into two groups according to their clinical history. Group A (n=5) had clinical signs of PCV2, and was routinely vaccinated by PCV2 vaccines with production loss more than 5%. Canine infectious respiratory disease complex (CIRDC) viruses have been detected in dogs with respiratory illness. The CIRDC is associated with multiple factors depending on host susceptibility, environment and pathogens. Canine influenza virus (CIV), canine parainfluenza virus (CPIV), canine distemper virus (CDV), canine respiratory coronavirus (CRCoV), canine adenovirus type 2 (CAdV-2) and canine herpesvirus 1 (CaHV-1), are all associated with the CIRDC. Environmental factors serve as the one key point for infection.
