The demands and expectations placed on student affairs professionals can lead to stress, burnout, a lack of work-life balance, and decreased job satisfactions. Accordingly, it could be beneficial to teach graduate students and professionals in student affairs graduate preparation program how to use self-care practices focusing on mindfulness. This mixed method study examined the perceptions of graduate students in a student affairs graduate preparation program regarding mindfulness training in increasing self-care, awareness, and coping strategies.

In 1996, employer branding was introduced into the lexicon of human resources and marketing. Twenty years later, many of the foundational concepts of employer branding have been researched. Despite the volume of literature on employer branding, many key aspects still warrant investigation. This article provides an overview of the work that has been done on employer branding, highlights recent developments in the research, and suggests future research directions.

Medicare fraud and abuse costs are estimated at 3%-10% of overall Medicare spending, which is expected to expand considerably until 2024 and as such the amount of fraud dollars would be expected to increase proportionally. The purpose of this research was to determine how recent reforms, especially the Patient Protection and Accountable Care Act, may affect Medicare fraud and abuse and to uncover the best strategies to combat Medicare fraud. What role do local governments play in promoting sustainable economic development? This article uses a 2014 national survey to analyze the relationship between local environment and social equity motivations and the kinds of economic development strategies local governments pursue (business incentives or community economic development policies). Municipalities that pay more attention to environmental sustainability and social equity use higher levels of community economic development tools and lower levels of business incentives. These places are also more likely to have written economic development plans, and involve more participants in the economic development process. The overall aim of this study was to investigate the views of students to on-campus catering, student preferences with food and to gather information and opinions on the current catering provision in a large third level educational institution. The survey sought to acertain factors influencing the type of food eaten by students, the type of establishments frequented for food, spend trends, how far students would walk to purchase food, the meal most frequently purchased during the college day, and factors important to students when eating out while at college.
