Harrison Price Company (HPC) and Grady Larkins Associates conducted an analysis of recommended improvements for Suzuka Circuitland Amusement Park (SCAP) AND Tamatech (TT), two long Motopia or motorsports based attractions developed by Honda Motor Corporation. This report is organized as follows, Sections 2 and 3 deal with essential economic factors in present operations in SCAP AND TT related to attendance and capacity. Section 4 treats profitability of the two parks. Section 5 presents Larkin’s observations on thematic and design approaches at the two parks which influence the reinvestment program. It was hypothetical , as opposed to conceptual or definitive, because one week was not deemed enough time to fully think of, (let alone articulate and validate), a development strategy for such a complex project as an "information power plant," as had been described to the Harrison Price Company by Westinghouse. The purpose of the charrette was to define a plausible scenario, a hypothetical development strategy, for the successul development of the power plant, and document the scenario's key assumptions so that its feasibility may be judged.

Overall, the majority of the survey respondents were interested in visiting a religious theme park or attraction. Approximately two-thirds of the sample expressed interest in visiting a religious theme park in Central Florida upon hearing a brief and general description of the concept. The proportion of respondents interested in visiting the park increased after respondents were told more about what the park would include, that no effort would be made to convert anyone from one religion to another, and that the park would not be involved with any television evangelist. Financial signaling theory has hypothesized that signals are backed up by improved cash flow. The relationship between signals and cash flow, however, has never been empirically investigated. The purpose of this paper is to conduct such an investigation by examining the relationship between cash flow and dividend signal, the most frequently employed financial signal. In particular, this study examines if there are false dividend signals that are not supported by better cash flow and how the market reacts to them. 1. The median party size of visitors to Wet N' Wild's Summer Night was four. This was consistent in both phases of the survey. 2. Over one third of the respondents decided to come to the Summer Nights event on the day of their visit, one quarter decided a day prior, and one quarter decided 2-7 days prior to their visit. 3. The purpose of the focus group sessions was to identify significant perceptions about Spain from Los Angeles residents who traveled to Spain and other foreign destinations. In particular, the discussions focused on the image of Spain as a vacation destination, their experiences there, motivation to travel to Spain, and exposure to promotion in the Los Angeles area. The methodology used was to start each discussion by introducing broad issues of vacation travel, traveling to foreign destinations, and incrementally narrow down to a full discussion about Spain as a vacation destination.
