Graduate Session: Presentation 3 - Dietrich Bonhoeffer’S Necessary Shattering Of The Wheel, Hannah O'Brien
Graduate Session: Presentation 3 - Dietrich Bonhoeffer’S Necessary Shattering Of The Wheel, Hannah O'Brien
Life of the Scholar Multidisciplinary Conference
An exploration of Bonhoeffer's theological ethics as it relates to his participation in a resistance conspiracy that aimed to assassinate Adolf Hitler and other Nazi leaders. Many categorize him as a pacifist, but is this true? I argue that Bonhoeffer's theological reasoning should be viewed in terms of Bonhoeffer's idea of "responsible action." With this in mind, one can assume that in his specific situation Bonhoeffer saw his involvement in this conspiracy as a decision that may not be justified, but necessary.

The Mass Is The Medium: Marshall Mcluhan And Roman Catholic Liturgical Change, Ashil D. Manohar
The Mass Is The Medium: Marshall Mcluhan And Roman Catholic Liturgical Change, Ashil D. Manohar
USF Tampa Graduate Theses and Dissertations
The liturgical changes of Vatican II sought to bring a period of renewal to the Catholic laity by encouraging active participation and making the Mass more simple to understand. However, the time after the Council was characterized by confusion and disengagement by the laity. I will be discussing three significant changes to the liturgy at this time, The change from Latin to the vernacular, the change in the orientation of the altar and priest, and the change in acoustics, sound, and music. I will be examining all of these changes through the media theory of Marshall McLuhan, famous for coining …

The study aims to high light the methodology of AL FAROOK (may God be pleased with him) in administration organization and his policy in choosing leaders and governors of states, which is counted to be the first brick of state building ,whereas his era witnessed the civilized transfer in to the administration organization. The most important conclusion , is that the administration epidemic in every era is the concealment of superiors in-charged from the people that have needs ,and this way the people lose their welfares and rights ,thus he did not neglect this matter and had put an eye …

The first topic: the general foundations of brotherhood established by Islam to be the linkage among the faithful, which exceeded the limits of time and space, has been belief, love and loyalty, and I talked about the brotherhood in Mecca, and likely subsequent leveling of the impact of installing the faith, and continued advocacy, and empowerment of companionship, and …

"Living in the midst of a pandemic, we have all become familiar with the idea of contagion. An epidemic spreads through exposure to an infectious agent, like a novel virus. In a basic contagion model, the spread of a disease is a function of contact with the agent and its degree of infectiousness. Epidemiologists often model the risk of contagion as a function of contact (or frequency or level of contact) with the infected and the agent’s virulence.
When it comes to triggering radical institutional change, do ideas work the same way?
In a recent article, a team of …
