Career exploration is the acquisition of career information that results in the formation of career maturity. This study aims to explain the role of internal factors that drive career exploration behavior. This study uses a medical center in Taiwan as an example to analyze medical staff’s emotional exhaustion by independent sample t test and analysis of variance. Eight out of ten demographic variables are considered as essential variables to influence emotional exhaustion excluding respondents reporting events in the past 12 months and job status. The results show that female employees and employees who are not supervisors/managers tend to have higher burnout. Employees whose ages are 21–30, 31–40, and 41–50 years old also have a higher degree of fatigue. In addition, nurses are more stressful than the others in this medical center. …

The purpose of this paper is to describe how the student mentoring program at California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) increased peer-to-peer services by collaborating with campus constituents to develop first-year experience program partnerships. This paper showcases CSUSB’s student mentoring program partnerships with Coyote First STEP, a summer transition program, and the Library Ambassador program initiative, and how these partnerships have evolved to engage virtually with students during the COVID-19 pandemic. Today, the common discourse surrounding student-athletes’ Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) Rights is evolving from an archaic sense of paternalism and conservative protectionism to various forms of redistribution such as salaries and endorsement rights. Although I have found the NCAA’s protectionist stance on amateurism to be outdated, I do not find the salarying of student-athletes to be tenable for the majority of higher education institutions. Data provided by the Physical Therapy Central Application System (PTCAS) suggests that despite the large numbers of applicants to Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) programs on an annual basis, a gap remains between the number of White and Black and Latinx applicants who are offered admission to DPT programs. Research has shown that students attribute stress as a major factor that affects their academic performance (Frazier et al., 2018). This suggests that the ability to cope with stress can improve academic performance. Studies have shown that higher emotional intelligence is linked to higher ability to cope with stress (Wang, Xie, and Cui, 2016). Various predictors of success have been investigated, but the literature is insufficient when examining anatomy and physiology readiness scores as they correlate to radiography curricular success. This study examined the preferences of high school seniors (N = 2901) for receiving college and career information, an area not well-studied previously. Key findings are: Parents and peers are rated to be very helpful sources of college and career information; school counselors are a helpful source of information for first-generation and low-income students; and the internet is a helpful source of information, but email and one-on-one are more preferred sources of information. This study examines the inventory properties of the Indonesian version of The College Academic Self-Efficacy Scale (CASES) which is originally Western, and was developed by Owen, S. V., & Froman, R. D. in 1988 to determine the level of student self-efficacy. The multi-stage random sampling method was used with 342 students as participants in Indonesia. Furthermore, the validity was analyzed using Cronbach’s alpha item analysis that shows the coefficient of α > .3, and the data showed that 33 items of Indonesian CASES were valid. One hundred fifty nine single-mothers in Bantul regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta, Indonesia were involved in this study, determined using quota sampling. The data were collected using social support and subjective well-being scales. Simple linear regression was used to analyze the data.
