At present, the wildfire smoke detection algorithm based on YOLOv3 has problems, such as low accuracy and slow detection speed. In this article, we propose a cross-layer extraction structure and multiscale downsampling network with bidirectional transpose FPN (BCMNet) for fast detection of wildfire smoke. First, a cross-layer extraction module, which combines linear feature multiplexing and receptive field amplification, is designed. It can improve the speed and accuracy of wildfire smoke detection. Second, a multiscale downsampling module with different convolution kernels and maximum pooling operation is designed to preserve the details of the image while downsampling. Since the presidency of Enrique Peña Nieto, affordable housing developments in Mexico have been produced in a massive, unsustainable scale. The speed at which these developments are produced equates to the carelessness that goes into their planning. At large, the developments’ monotonous design is aesthetically dehumanizing and fails to promote a sense of community. These developments lack basic infrastructure, and their residents have abandoned them, which has incentivized increased criminal activity.

This research explores the current physical conditions of motorcycle taxi stands located near the BTS stations in the central business district (CBD) and the comfort conditions experienced by motorcycle taxi drivers at those stands. Stand conditions were assessed using design and location standards for transit stops. A total of 25 stands were surveyed and compared with design standards, considering factors such as location, physical form, and features. Stands that share similar characteristics were classified into stand typologies. Indiana is known as the ""Crossroads of America"" for its historic investment in vehicle infrastructure. This focus on automobiles has shaped Indianapolis's urban landscape, to the dismay of many cyclists. Based on semi-structured interviews with a range of stakeholders in the Indianapolis cycling community, including urban planners, bike commuters, IndyGo employees, city government officials, and bike advocates, this project identifies and evaluates the current barriers that prevent Indianapolis residents from riding their bikes. To uncover the experiences of parenting Generation Z pre-teen children in rural communities impacted by the Stay Home Missouri order from April through May 2020. Researchers have focused on urban parents, leading to gaps in understanding the impact of the COVID-19 quarantine on rural parents and children. A qualitative study employing interpretive phenomenology. 14 white cis-male-sexed fathers and cis-female-sexed mothers living in midwestern rural communities participated in this study. Semi-structured interviews with 14 participants parenting pre-teen children were conducted. The interviews were analyzed using interpretive phenomenology. The COREQ checklist was followed.
