Honey has been used to treat wounds, infections, and other diseases since ancient times. Due to the widespread bacterial resistance to antibiotics, scientists have investigated the healing power of honey. Numerous studies have documented the broad-spectrum antibacterial effect of honey and its success in inhibiting MRSA.
