Balinese language is divided into two dialects, namely Bali Dataran(DBD), and Bali Aga (DBA) dialect. The DBD variation happens vertically, but not in DBA. Some vocabularies in DBD that are classified into low(Tak-Alus/TA) are classified as common variants in DBA. This research aims to explore the Balinese personal pronoun variations in DBD which DBA in Sembiran(DS), and Seraya Timur(DST). The results, by applying the dialectology theory and correlation method or metode padan, showed that the personal pronouns of DS and DST varied lexically and phonologically. The aim of this research is to describe the effectiveness of using Problem Based Learning (PBL) approach in Arabic Language Research Method Class. It uses a quasi-experimental (pre- experimental design). The result shows that generally using PBL is effective in both aspects of the learning process and the learning outcomes. The specific findings in this research is that the using PBL is not effective for students in the lower class category both from the aspect of competence, learning attitude, willingness to learn, learn discipline, and activeness in class.

This study aims to develop a model of entrepreneurial learning in the field of art education in secondary schools. For this purpose, teachers have developed textbooks designed in accordance with the entrepreneurial learning cycle. The study found that art education teaching materials, designed according to specific learning strategies, have the potential to improve learners' entrepreneurial mindset. The results of this study offer strategic value for the development of entrepreneurship education in Indonesia, particularly considering that the findings have the potential to be extended to other fields and subjects across various types and levels of education.

Previous research findings have led to a gap that sociopragmatic failure, instead of pragmalinguistic failure, has scarcely been resolved despite its crucial function in communication. Therefore, this paper proposes a story-based approach, particularly a joint storytelling with multi-party interaction, to deal with learners’ L2 sociopragmatic sensitivity. EFL learners with diverse cultural backgrounds need a motivating environment with agents that can co-construct experiences for optimum learning. By telling stories, learners are engaged in social relations that set them into interpersonal interaction demanding sociopragmatic awareness necessary for the development of their L2 sociopragmatic competence. This study aims to reveal the stereotypes about government formed by HTI in the propaganda bulletin articles published in Al-Islam. This study uses descriptive qualitative critical discourse analysis approach of Fairclough’s models. Based on textual analysis (micro analysis), discourse practical analysis and socio-cultural practical dimension (macro) the buletin indicates that HTI provides a solution by building a positive stigma against the struggle doctrine of HTI, namely the application of Islamic law and the need for Godly Muslim leaders. Lingga-Yoni artifact is found to be a part of various traces of Javanese civilization. The artifact was created and is still meaningful for Javanese society. Its meaning depends on the point of view taken. As a part of critical thought, there are several points of view selected to find the meaning of the lingga-yoni artifact, they are anthropological, formal-structural, mythological, philosophical, and positivistic. From the positivistic point of view, lingga-yoni artifact might be assessed as the basis of probability and causal laws viewed from the relevant construct of positivistic thoughts.

This research examines concordance errors in grammatical syntax found in Arabic phrases conducted as a case study on the written texts produced by Arabic of IAIN Salatiga’s students. The qualitative approach is used to identify the types of errors. The sources of data in this study arethe students’ thesis proposals, IndonesianArabic translations, and Arabic-free compositions. The analytical method used is error analysis. The study found 19 types of errors which comprise of four phrase structures, namely the head-modifiers, modifier-head, head-head, and the head-apposition in gender, number, and definiteness categories.

This study aimed to describe the vocabulary of low grade primary school students based on the type and form of the word, and also the type and semantics domain. This quasi experimental study aims to investigate how written retelling technique affects the reading comprehension of university students having different personality learning styles (introverted vs. extroverted). A reading comprehension test and a questionnaire were utilized to collect the data. Two groups of students were involved in the study, with the experimental group receiving the treatment of being taught using a written retelling technique and the control group being taught using the oral retelling technique. This study investigated the challenges and opportunities of formative assessment in EFL classes. It made use of qualitative research design by using indepth interviews to collect the required data. Three teachers and three students were involved as research participants in this study and they were intensively interviewed to get valid and reliable data regarding their understanding of formative assessment and the follow up actions they took after implementing formative assessment. This research aims to describe the linguistic features of the denominative verb construction (VDn) in bahasa Indonesia (bI). The construction of VDn is a verb derived from nouns, such as mengecat, menyekolahkan, berpakaian, bersepeda. This research utilizes observation in collecting the data and distributional method in analyzing the data. The Data sources are sentences on the use of bI either orally or in writing. This research shows that the VDn constructions, morphologically, are composed of derivational affixes and nouns. The aim of this study is to describe the form, function and response strategies from autistic studentson the teachers’ directive in the classroom. This study used a case study. The results showed that there are two categories of the students’ spoken responses: (1) speech production in the form of assertive, directive, commissive and expressive; and (2) the speech responses are based on the senses including auditory, visual and emotions. This study is aimed to describe the characteristics of mini fiction by explaining the structure and coherence between elements, forms of language, and discourse functions in Indonesian mini fiction. It is a qualitative study by using mini fiction discouse as research objects. The research data were in the form of tweets by the users who retweeted any tweets from @fiksimini account. This study aims to reveal the type and the function of linguistic units as the proof of the local wisdom in preserving environment towards society of Javanese Talk. The data on the study are gathered and analyzed based on two procedures; they are the analysis on the process of collecting data and the analysis after the data are collected. The result of the study shows that the type of linguistic units consist of word, phrase, sentence, and expression. Meanwhile, those linguistic units function in expressing local wisdom such as in giving name, commanding/advising, praying, and teaching sesorah values.

This study aims at describing the appropriate and correct use of prepositions in elementary school students’ composition. The design of this study is qualitative research combined with formal approaches for students in grade 3, 4, 5 and 6. The results of the study indicate that (1) there is a preposition used in all grades; (2) there are some prepositions used in certain grade; (3) some preposition functions are found in all grades; and (4) some preposition functions are found in certain grades.

This study aims to develop a teaching and learning model of kalam (conversation) based on phonetic accuracy to improve students’ Arabic speaking ability. The research was conducted through questionnaires, interviews, error analysis, and content analysis. The results of the study are as follows: there are two forms of phonetic errors in students’ pronunciation, namely segmental and suprasegmental errors; most teachers and students did not pay attention to phonetic errors in students’ speech; however, most of them considered it important to place special emphasis on phonetic elements in learning kalam; the kalam teaching materials used thus far did not specifically emphasize …
