This study highlights the authorship trend and collaborative research in the area of lung cancer literature based on 93512 scholarly communications appeared in the lung cancer literature during 1997 to 2016.The study elaborates on various bibliometric components such as year wise distribution of articles, relative growth rate, doubling time, authorship pattern and collaborative coefficients. The study’s aim is twofold: first to determine the extent to which Australian library and information professionals produce research literature (specifically journal articles); and second to explore the status of the use of research literature by library and information science (LIS) practitioners as evidence for their practice. All articles published in the field of LIS in 2015 by Australian authors were analysed and seven interviews were conducted with Australian librarians. The study aimed to study the perception on various factors of academic parameters to deposit in the Institutional Repositories System. Majorities of the institutions had institutional repositories and three fourth of the respondents were depositing their works in their institutional repositories. The main purpose of the paper is to study the publishing trends of the open access religious journals available in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ). The data were collected online from the Directory of Open Access Journals and quantitative method was applied for data analysis. The data were collected in December 2017 and later presented in tabular forms to reveal the findings. The findings show that 119 religious journals are registered in the DOAJ, published from the 27 countries by 114 publishing agencies in 14 languages. The historic development and subsequent "feminization" of librarianship continues to influence the gender wage gap and the disproportionate leadership bias in the field today. This article examines the stereotyping of librarians and the cyclical effect of genderizing the profession. Consideration of current trends and data in librarian demographics demonstrates a consistent decrease in gender diversity, accompanied by a troubling lack of women leaders and executives. This study aimed to investigate the relationship between perceived richness of information resources at academic library and the attitude to use them by students' of Islamic Azad University of Ahvaz; and conducted by an analytical survey method. Using stratified random sampling 380 students were selected and data were collected using researcher made questionnaire. Results showed that the students have no tendency (mean=3.2281) to use the information resources of library. UCSF faculty passed an Open Access Policy in 2012, yet it wasn’t until a partially automated research information management system (RIS) was in place in 2015 that there was any measurable increase in deposits to the institutional repository. Despite this uptick, overall engagement with the RIS as well as deposits were lower than the university wanted them to be. In an effort to increase participation with the policy, the UCSF Library embarked on a six-month project to improve the RIS search results and ramp up the deposit rate.
