The “Degrees in Action: Utilizing Public Relations Students' Expertise to Expand the Reach of OER” poser presentation highlights a collaboration between a Public Relations (PR) Campaigns Course and OER and Digital Scholarship Department. PR students were empowered to apply their skills in developing and executing a public awareness campaign that highlighted the benefits and availability of OER on the University of Texas in Arlington campus.

This article explores the impact of embedding a research and instruction librarian within the graduate school at East Texas A&M University to address the unique research challenges faced by graduate students. Relocating the librarian to the graduate school increased accessibility to library services, promoted personalized support, and enhanced visibility among students and faculty. Data collected through LibInsight and user feedback revealed significant increases in research consultations, workshop attendance, and faculty engagement following the relocation. The initiative also led to the development of targeted instructional resources and collaborative research tools. This study examined the usage of electronic information resources (EIRs) for improved nursing research and health-care delivery in Nigeria. A descriptive survey method was used for the study. The population consisted of 120 nursing and midwifery students and 5 healthcare providers at Grimmard School of Nursing and Midwifery, Anyigba, Kogi State of Nigeria totalling 125. Five (5) research questions guided the conduct of this study. Analysis and discussion of the study were based on major findings of the study. Using a drawing exercise rooted in visual research methods (Hartel, 2017; Doucette & Hoffman, 2019; Bryans & Mavin, 2006), a cross-institutional research team in the United States and Canada explore these questions through an interview-based study of graduate student perceptions of research.
