This study assesses the integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in library service delivery at the Ashanti Regional Library. Specifically, it sought to assess the available ICT infrastructure in the library, evaluate the extent of adoption of ICT tools by the library, examine the ICT skill level of staff and users, identify challenges in the usage of ICT infrastructure, and propose measures for improving ICT in the library. A survey research design was employed to gather responses from 66 library users/patrons and 25 library staff through the use of questionnaires. Despite comics' popularity and cultural significance in Italy, its integration into Italian libraries has been slow, problematic, and uneven. This is reflected in the scarcity of academic research on the topic, which demands further in-depth exploration.

In the context of Italian libraries, characterized by chronic underfunding and staffing shortages, comics might be perceived as a low priority. However, as essential cultural institutions, libraries must strive to reflect both the contemporary era and the evolving reading habits of their audience. Academic libraries have changed and evolved, yet they remain a staple of academic life, supporting students by providing them with the space and materials they need to succeed in their courses. Beyond housing physical collections, library space holds a special significance and fulfills a vital need in the community to which it belongs. In studying Library as Place, three qualities of libraries emerge that are also deeply rooted in the Christian tradition: scholarship, silence, and hospitality. An exploration of these traditions demonstrates how libraries provide spaces for these practices to flourish.

One of the tenants of the Christian faith is service to God and others. Serving others is typically a front-facing activity, but not always. This paper describes the nature of service, how academic libraries in general serve their patrons, and focuses on how behind-the-scenes activities in the Technical Services department serve patrons in impactful ways. The personal librarian program was embedded into the First Year Student Success classes at Kankakee Community College to ensure freshman instruction in resources and supports available within the library while focusing on creating campus community connections with librarians. As a part of this collaboration, new library curriculum was created to involve students in the library using a variety of different modalities. The study investigated registration status, reading interest level, and library use habits of teaching staff in Akwa Ibom State University, Nigeria. The study adopted survey research design, with a total population of 467 teaching staff from eight (8) academic faculties. Out of the total study population, a sample of 212 was selected using an online sample calculator known as Survey Monkey Sample Size Calculator at 95% confidence level and confidence interval of 5%. Library censorship efforts in the U.S. have broken records annually since 2021, spurred by social, technological, and political developments. These censorship efforts most frequently target diverse media representing Black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) and/or lesbian, gay, bisexual+, trans+, queer, intersex, and asexual+ (LGBTQIA+) communities in and at libraries. The current surge in attempts to censor library materials constitutes part of a greater conservative political strategy in the contemporary culture wars. This literature review analyzes the academic and professional literature alongside the gray literature regarding these censorship efforts to make sense of these trends.
