The shift from print to digital environments has created an opportunity and responsibility for educators to focus on instructional planning and practices that reflects the growing complexity of online texts students helping to ensure that their students are information literate. The purpose of this qualitative study is to explore the how 83 eleventh grade high school English students judge the credibility of information on the internet. Collaboration is central to the work of librarianship, including technological initiatives such as the establishment of a makerspace. Librarians typically understand collaboration as a rational process in which partners reach agreements to yield efficiencies. However, this predominant understanding of collaboration ignores the nature of institutions founded on structural inequities and aligns with neoliberal ideology and objectivist understandings of technology.

Abstract:

Introduction: The aim of the study was to survey the degree of cell phone use with their dependence to it and the social alienation of young teenagers.

Methods: It was a review, a survey type and in terms of application it was an observatory research on correlation between cell phone usages with student alienation in 2020.

Results: The results of the research showed that there is a relationship between the degree of cell phone dependence with social alienation among users and mostly young teenagers.

The study examines the use of ICT by school teachers in Sri Lanka for information seeking and using the internet for communication. The survey method was adapted and the questionnaire was used as the main data collection tool for the study. The results revealed that the level of school ICT capacity in Sri Lanka is not satisfied because only the half of schools survey had ICT labs. Instances of information communication technology project failure are being recorded in Nigeria. This paper focuses on a design-reality gap to assess the selected information communication technology (ICT) projects in federal universities, South West of Nigeria. We determine the success and failure rates of the selected ICT projects based on the design-reality gap model dimensions: information, technology, processes, objectives and values, staffing and skills, management systems and structures. The outcome of the study showed that, of all the ICT E-library projects assessed, only FUTA E-Library was a success, while the rest E-Library projects were partial failures and only FUNAAB E-Library project …

The paper presents Citation patterns of 6914 citations appearing in 399 papers published in DESIDOC Journal of Library & Information Technology from 2012 to 2018. The researcher identified in the paper were Volume-wise Analysis of Citations per Article, authorship pattern, forms of literature, Chronological Analysis of Citations and a ranked list of top 25 cited Library Science journals. The most cited author of DESIDOC Journal of Library & Information Technology was Gupta B.M. Background: The Journal of Computers in Human Behavior published its first issue in 1985. This study presents a general overview of the journal from 1985 until 2019 using bibliometric indicators to assess its performance.

Methods: The data for this study, dating between 1985 and 2019, was extracted from Scopus database. All the information was exported in CSV format for data analysis. This paper attempts to examine the impact of Human Resource Management (HRM) practices on the Job Satisfaction of Librarians in Jammu & Kashmir (J&K). On basis of the literature review, it is hypothesized that a positive perception among librarians regarding the HRM practices helps in developing a sense of satisfaction among them regarding their jobs. The hypothesised relationship is tested though regression analysis by using data from libraries of seven universities of J&K. The findings suggest that perception of employees regarding the HRM practices positively impacts their job satisfaction.
