This article examines whether teaching with primary sources can cultivate civic engagement by investigating the competencies involved in developing student civic engagement and aligning these with outcomes from teaching with primary sources. Using three examples from Brooklyn Connections, a primary source-based education outreach program that offers a free standards-based and curriculum-aligned school partnership program for grades four through twelve, this case study illustrates the potential for using primary sources to cultivate skills, knowledge, and student agency. Libraries are an essential element of learning on university campuses. The content housed within libraries supports academic exploration and growth. Physically, libraries are designed to provide access to materials and spaces that facilitate learning. This report explored the impact of student library resource use on student persistence to the next term.
Students' library resource use was captured with EZ Proxy log-ins and library material check-outs. Students who had a record of using library resources were compared to similar students who did not have a record of library resource use. This study aims to investigate the level of the use of the Ministry of Education and Culture Library website through the End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) model. This type of research is explanative with a quantitative approach. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 99 users of the Ministry of Education Library who used the library website. This research questionnaire was tested for validity and reliability using Cronbach's Alpha technique and IBM, SPSS, V25, software. This paper examined the attitude and use of online public access catalogue (OPAC) by students of Kwara State University, Malete. The objectives of the study were to: (i) examine the attitude of Kwara State University students towards OPAC; and (ii) ascertain student’s frequency of use of OPAC. Students at universities spend an average of $1,250 yearly on textbooks and course materials. Can a collaboration between the Library and the Instructional Design Department create value for student populations by incorporating OER into the course development process? This is a case study of one University with a large online and distributed network with controls over the course design, timeline and curriculum delivered by the faculty. In early March, Seattle, WA, was the epicenter of the US COVID-19 pandemic. Providence St. Joseph Health had seen the first reported US case of COVID-19 on January 20 [1] and quickly found itself responding to a growing crisis, with little information about how best to care for patients while protecting frontline staff.

Purpose: This paper examines the archival maintenance practices for paper based archival materials in academic libraries in Nigeria.
Design: Two research questions and a hypothesis guided the study. The research design adopted for the study was a descriptive research design while the population of the study comprises of 277 library staff in academic libraries in South East, Nigeria. The annual library tailgate event held at a medium-sized academic university library at Jacksonville State University welcomes students, faculty, staff, and community members with the purpose of increasing their comfort and familiarity with the library. The tailgate draws on school spirit to facilitate stronger connections across campus. The event includes activities to highlight the library’s information access points in a relaxed atmosphere. The tailgate has taken many forms based on logistics and student feedback. The Australian National Audit Office (ANAO) evaluates the management and financial performance of Australian government programs for the Australian Parliament, Australian government agencies, Australian taxpayers, and individuals interested in the performance of these programs globally. This article examines how ANAO has examined the performance of Australian Army programs and strengths and weaknesses found in these programs while recommending changes to improve program performance. It also examines how government agencies and corporations which have been the subject of ANAO analyses have reacted to ANAO findings. Research consultations are a valuable service offered by academic libraries for students who are able to visit the library, however, many students enrolled in online degree programs or considering enrollment have limited access to campus services. We designed and tested a virtual reference consultation service for distance learners and graduate students. This interactive poster outlines a practical approach for designing and initiating a virtual research consultation service to offer equitable access to library services and a positive user experience for distance learners.

The study examines the use of ICT by school teachers in Sri Lanka and it intends to understand the knowledge of ICT and the use of ICT for their information provision. The survey method was adapted and the questionnaire used as the main data collection tool for the study. The results revealed that the most preferred information source was a colleague followed by personal knowledge or experience ranked second and professional books ranked third with high preference level. This study is focused on exploring COVID 19 information seeking behavior of Nigerian health practitioners using medical doctors in Delta state Nigeria as a case study.
