Purpose: This study sought to evaluate the scientific publications of Iranian researchers in the field of internal medicine as well as to compare them with those of the countries of the Middle East and the world within 2009-2018.
Design/methodology/approach: In this bibliometric study, the Scopus database was used. All papers published in the past ten years by researchers from Iran, the Middle East and the world in the field of internal medicine were included in the study. This article presents a bibliometric analysis of the literature growth and development of “yoga”. Yoga was a traditional system of about 5000 years of history and culture. Yoga is rooted in Indian philosophy and has been a part of traditional Indian spiritual practice for millennia. The Indian sage Patanjali prescribed adherence to eight limbs of yoga. This study investigated the utilisation of social media tools to enhance Knowledge Sharing (KS) practices among knowledge workers at The Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology (NM-AIST) of Tanzania. A case study design was used in this study. Data was collected by adopting a combination of document content analysis and semi-structured interviews from library and Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) staff. The purpose of this paper was to investigate the antecedents for the utilisation of Web 2.0 tools to enhance Knowledge Management (KM) practices in academic libraries of Tanzania. Objective- This study investigated the awareness and perceived availability as correlate of electronic resources usage in academic libraries in Kwara State.
Method- The study employed survey research method. A sample size of 377 was drawn from a population of 17,336 students. A self-designed and validated questionnaire was used with a reliability co-efficient of r=0.76 using split-half method. Both descriptive and inferential statistic were used to analyze the data.

Purpose - Webometric studies, using link analysis between websites and URL analysis as the basic data type, have been used to assess institutional networks, and to analyse the level of homogeneity among the CIHMs websites.
Design/methodology/approach - data were collected from the websites of all 21 IHMs (Central institutes) using three different tools, viz., Google search engine; moz.com (earlier www.opensiteexplorer.org) and webpagetest.org (originally developed by AOL).

Maqāsid al-Shariʿah has been typically defined as the objectives behind the Islamic rulings or the Shariʿah higher intent. This paper gives national and international perspectives of librarianship and examined the repositioning of libraries in Nigeria’s educational system to make them competitive in line with global best practices. Library leadership, training and curriculum content for professionalism and funding were looked at as devices for competitiveness vis-à-vis international university standards. This paper examines with scientometric tools a total of 7659 publications on natural hazards indexed in web of science database during the period 2006-2015. The average number of publications published per year was 765.9. The highest number of publications (1264) was recorded in the year 2015. The relative growth rates (RGR) has decreased from 2007 (0.72) to 2015 (0.18) in the span of 10 years. The doubling time (DT) has gradually increased from 0.96 in 2007 to 3.85 in 2015. The unique properties of graphene and its extensive applications has turned it an emerging area of research. Therefore, this study is an attempt to analyse the research output trends in graphene during the period 2010 – 2012 for the publications indexed by Web of Science.

Background and Aim: The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between time period spent on virtual social networks and communication skills of librarians in public libraries of Khuzestan province.
Methodology: The present study is a correlation survey- in terms of nature and an applied research in terms of objective. Researcher made questionnaire has been used for data collection.
