A Citation analysis on 8289 citations cited in 59 LIS doctoral theses submitted to Kuvempu University (15 theses) and University of Mysore (44 theses) has been carried out to know the citation pattern. The data was collected using Shodhganga e-theses database. The study found that a total of 6883 journal citations were cited in 59 theses. The journal ‘Scientometrics’ has been cited 651 times and stands first in the rank list of journals. Introduction: Nowadays, the need for health information has grown all over the world, and this information often changes behavior and health decisions. This research was conducted with the aim of investigating the seeking behavior and health information channels in students of Gonabad University of Medical Sciences.

Methods: In this Analytic-descriptive study, 115 individuals from health department, 110 individuals from nursing department, 93 individuals from medical department and 112 individuals from paramedical department were randomly selected and analyzed. A structured questionnaire was designed and distributed among research scholars from various academic disciplines at Panjab University, Chandigarh (India). The level of managerial input from the leadership of any organisation could directly translate into the library employees’ performance. The paper examined the role of leadership style on the performance of academic library staff in Delta State. Five academic libraries (polytechnic, college and university) were purposively selected using a sample size of 94 which was randomly drawn. Engineers, Their Information Needs And Information Sources Used: A Nigerian Perspective, Oluremi Adenike Abiolu Dr

This study explored the information needs and sources used by engineers in Nigeria with a questionnaire randomly administered to 120 respondents using a survey research approach. The quantitative data were analysed using descriptive statistics. There were more male (89.7%) than female engineers, the higher greater percentage (45.2%) being between 41 and 50 years, and many (40.5%) had PhD degrees, with most being senior lecturers. The main areas of specialisation were materials and metallurgy, electrical and electronic engineering and agricultural engineering. The aim of this study was to assess the information needs, sources and the challenges of information access among women in Sagnerigu district in Northern Ghana. Data was collected through questionnaire and interviews from 150 women participants in different geographical zones in the district. The descriptive research method was used to study quantitative growth of print collections. Data about budget utilised, and year wise quantitative growth of prints books for the period of 2012 to 2017 under study was collected from the annual reports, accession register and library statistics file. A quantitative method using a cross-sectional survey was used to solicit information from 256 graduate students studying courses related to health in the Arts, Social, and applied Sciences.
