The purpose of the study is to identify the sources provided by the universities of India to visually impaired persons to cater their educational requirements. There are 49 Central Universities in India, out of which 15 were selected for the study. The data from selected university libraries was collected using bilateral approach i.e. questionnaire and telephonic interview. It was found that central universities of India are not providing appropriate sources to their visually impaired users to fulfill their educational requirements. In Jamaica, violence is an all too common approach to the settlement of disputes. Scholars and informed observers have pointed to the genesis of this practice in a history of violence, oppression and inequity rooted in slavery and the colonial system. Policy-makers and crime fighting strategists have advanced a range of recommendations for its abatement. This article details the multi-year process of adding a 3,200 item campus collection to a university library’s catalog. The collection, housed outside of the library itself, belongs to the university’s Confucius Institute (CI). While acknowledging increasing political discomfort nationwide about Confucius Institutes, the university library nevertheless sought to increase discoverability and access to the unique set of materials by cataloging the entire collection. In addition to discussing lessons learned from undertaking the project, this article also includes results from a survey of additional university libraries on campuses with Confucius Institutes. The purpose of this study is to assess the libraries’ efforts in marketing of library products and services through their websites.

This study analyses the Eosinophilia research output carried out during the year 1998 – 2017 the different parameters including authorship pattern, growth, Time Series Analysis Degree of Collaboration, Institutions’ contribution, most productivity journals were analysed. The overall growth rate of literature output is found to be positive with an increasing trend in Eosinophilia research throughout the study period. Two and more authored papers constitute majority of the contribution and degree of collaboration had a maximum value of 7.14. The result shows that research development activities are increasing in Eosinophilia research in India.

A scientometric study has been conducted on the literature published on osteoporosis in children during the year 1950-2018. From the total literature 4837, it was found that during 2011-15, the maximum (855, 17.69%) of literatures were published and the minimum 7(0.145%) during 1950-55. The study has been done for authorship pattern and they are ranked. Journals are also ranked as per the number of articles published. This article provides an outline for jurimetrics and its role in finding most relevant and influential decisions of Supreme Court of India particularly in the topic of sexual harassment covering the period of 5 years (2012 to 2016). It retrieved 35 precedents that cited 662 legal information sources. These precedents are further analyzed with the network measures such as degree centrality, closeness centrality and authoritative scores to find out the influential and relevant decisions in sexual harassment. The precedents of Supreme Court of India (Vn=575) legal citation network is created to map the science of law.

The present study try to explore the occupational rural women information needs, sources and barriers to access information in Sonnenahalli and Dibburu villages, Bangalore North taluk, Karnataka state. The study employed survey method and data were collected by administrating a questionnaire. This study reveals that majority of the rural women occupation was agriculture followed by animal husbandry. 81.81% occupational rural women main information source was television and 52.72% rural women illiterate it’s a main information barrier in rural area. 50.9% occupational rural women are using information to polish their daily routine work.

ABSTRACT
This study sought information from respondents on the problems caused by the students use of cell phones in university libraries in Anambra State of Nigeria. The study adopted descriptive survey research design, that traced the history of cell phones in Nigeria. The population of 3000 registered student’s library users was studied. Sample size of 100 respondents was used. Accidental sampling technique was used to collect data. A self-constructed questionnaire, validated by two experts from the university library was used for data collection from the sampled students.
