The purpose of this research note is to urge intercollegiate athletic departments and their administrators to foster a sense of belonging amongst Black female college athletes to aid in their felt membership as a college athlete and support their development as viable employment candidates in college sport. Black female college athletes’ graduation rates are on the rise; however, these being hired at dismal rates in college sport. This study examined the influence of career choice on professional and job commitment, factors influencing career choice, the perceptions on professionalization and the extent to which career choice has influenced the growth, job and professional commitment of librarians in selected libraries in Oyo and Ogun states of Nigeria. Descriptive survey research design was adopted with questionnaire as the research instrument. The reliability co-efficient of the instrument was 0.83. The paper presents citation analysis of PhD theses awarded during the period 1986-2015 in five sub- subjects of Political Science under the University of Burdwan. The study is based on the 7711 citations collected from 56 PhD theses of five specific subjects’ viz. Administration, Indian Politics, Political Sociology, International Relation and Political Thought under Political Science. This paper presents a bibliometric analysis of the Journal of Library Herald for the period of 10 years (2008-2017). The total number of published articles during the period of study was 222 articles in a particular journal. The aim of this paper was to analysis the authorship pattern, geographical distribution, prolific author, reference distributions, and authorship pattern of reference. And found out that 97 (43.68%) articles were contributed by single authors, followed by two authors 87 (39.18%).
