The study examined the perception and usage of health information sources and services by the urban community users of public libraries. The study investigated 110 users from two public libraries in Bhadravathi. Findings revealed that majority of the users not enrolling library membership. 44.54% of users were visit library daily and large numbers of respondents were get health information through newspaper followed by television, advertisements and pamphlet/brochures. Education and sports were the most frequently preferred topics by the users. Purpose: The study explored staff perception on effective funding using in-house IGR sources, finance-related challenges in the management of libraries, examined operational conventional and additional sources, derived opinions on the benefits of an independent academic library financial management system and the strategies to improve on its funding in selected academic libraries in Nigeria.

Thirty five percent of landfill waste in California is made up of organic waste, and 18% of landfill waste is made up of food scraps (City of Santa Clara [CSC], 2019). The buildup and decomposition of food scraps at landfills produce methane (CSC, 2019), a pollutant that heats up the atmosphere thousands of times more than carbon dioxide (California Air Resources Board [CARB], 2018). Applicability Of Lotka’S Law In Parasitology Research Output Of India, Naheem Kt Mr, Sivaraman P. Dr., Saravanan G. Dr.

This paper examines the conformity of Lotka’s law to authorship distribution in the field of parasitology using Scopus during 2007-2016. Totally, 5792 articles produced by 3473 unique first authors, was compiled for analysis. Lotka’s law was tested using both generalized and modified forms by using the formula: , the values of the exponent n and the constant c were computed; and Kolmogorov-Smirnov (K-S) and Chi-square tests were applied. The results showed that the Lotka’s law fit to the author productivity distribution pattern in parasitology literature.

Abstract: The present study focuses on the ranking of the websites of the IPL franchises as well as the overall evaluation of those websites. Calculating three types of WIFs it has been found that according to the Simple Web Impact Factor (SWIF) ranking CSK holds the numero uno status with SWIF of 0.6454. According to Internal-link Web Impact Factor (IWIF) CSK holds the 1st rank with IWIFs of 0.3727. This study investigates the factors and challenges affecting the information-seeking behavior of multidisciplinary science and technology researchers of the six departments of the Federal Institute of Industrial Research Oshodi (FIIRO) in Nigeria. Analysing the websites of the Indian football clubs it has been found that in WIF calculation NFC holds the rank one position with SWIF of 0.7222, while MBAC and CBFCG hold the 2nd and 3rd positions respectively with SWIFs of 0.6973and 0.6363.
