The present study examines the impact of Social Networking Sites on college students of Regional Institute of Paramedical and Nursing (RIPANS), Aizawl. The study focused on the SNSs usage on academic performance, both positive and negative influence, the purpose and problem faced by the students in using SNSs. 150 well-structured questionnaires were distributed to the randomly selected students of RIPANS to find out the impact of using SNSs for their academic performance, out of which 146 students have responded. The purpose of this research is to assess the quality of Iranian academic library websites pertaining to dissemination of electronic information, based on visibility, authenticity, navigation, accessibility, information dissemination, quality assessment and updateness, and consequently to rank them according to their conformity to these standards.The study is an applied research, conducted using scientometrics methodology. Research population consists of 80 central library websites of Iranian Ministry of Science, Research and Technology (MSRT) main universities. ABSTRACT This study asses the factor influencing Information and Communication Technology (ICT) competencies among library staff in university libraries. The objective of the study was to find how competent library staff are in using ICT facilities to do their job. The present study is conducted to identify the prevailing citation trends, durability of web citations or URLs, decay and half-life of URLs by analyzing articles’ citations of Indian Journal of Agricultural Library and Information Services published during 2012 -2016. A total of 980 citations were reported in 94 articles out of which 33.16 percent were having web citations. Of web citations, 62.15 percent of URLs were accessible at the time of testing and the remaining 37.85 percent of URLs were not accessible. This paper examines the SWAYAM online courses offered in past, current and upcoming years. It is found from study that in past a good number of courses were offered. But, there is a decreasing trend in the growth of the courses. Majority of the courses (58.49%) were offered in engineering in the past whereas in current year, more number of online courses were offered in science disciplines (22.22%). Undergraduate and School level courses were offered mostly in the past and current. English was a dominating medium of instruction.

People living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) attending clinics accessed information from different sources within and outside the hospital to guide them from infecting close friends and family members. There was apparent reasons to believe that PLWHA still engaged in risk practices especially sexually related ones. The study investigates the use of electronic resources by postgraduate students in University of Cape Coast (UCC). It specifically targets first year postgraduate students of UCC. Awareness, usage, training, and access were explored. A survey method was employed and a structured questionnaire was utilized to solicit data. The findings revealed that, though students are aware of electronic resources, they do not fully utilize them to support their academic pursuit due to poor level of information literacy skills. This study is based on the technology acceptance model by integrating the internet self-efficacy (ISE) as an antecedent to determine students’ behavioral intention (BI) in adopting internet for their scholarly activities. This study was to discover the Positive Youth Development (PYD) dimensions towards ICT usage in rural libraries among youths in Malaysia. This is a quantitative design and descriptive study in nature, which involved 400 respondents among rural youths from 16 selected rural libraries in four states of Peninsular Malaysia were chosen based on multistage cluster and simple random sampling.
