Plagiarism is regarded as an academic crime, but can affect hobbies that rely on research and information sharing such as genealogy. The issue is well-known within the genealogy community. However, information professionals who aid genealogists in their research may not know enough about the issue. The Information Behaviors Of Fiction Writers: A Systematic Approach To An Understudied Information Community, Lisa Lowdermilk

Within the context of creative information communities in general, fiction writers remain a relatively understudied community. This article seeks to rectify that gap by highlighting the information behaviors of fiction writers, including the ways in which they network, as well as the processes they use when writing. In doing so, it reveals that fiction writers of all genres have many experiences in common, such as the "seed incident" that serves as the starting point when writing fiction. Altmetrics can be used for research evaluation of an original publication as well as the organization level. Several studies have documented on Altmetrics. However, there are very few studies conducted on an organizational level. This paper set out to examine how the papers published by the top five NIRF-2017 institutes were shared, saved, views on different social media platforms. This study used PLOS Altmetrics data to identify article-level metrics (ALM) of theses 5 institutes. A total of 208 documents retrieved from the PLOS database. The proposed study tries to investigate citation pattern of Chemistry theses submitted to Central library Tripura University. The study considered only those theses submitted to Shodhganga, the Indian ETD initiative. Hence data were collected from 20 theses constituting 6214 citations during 2007 to 2016. Bardford’s law is used to find out the core journals in the field of Chemistry. The rank list of journals showed “Phytochemistry” is the most cited journal. The dataset of the study did not follow the Bradford’s law. However, the dataset follow the Leimkuhler’s model. Half life of Chemistry journals is found to be 12.6 years. …

In 2006, the State of California passed AB 32, the Global Warming Solutions Act. Through this legislation, the state sought to reduce its carbon emissions to 1990 levels by 2020. The California Air Resources Board (CARB) was tasked with doing so and thus instituted the Cap-and-Trade program, a market-based mechanism to reduce emissions. Additionally, legislation has further directed funding on an annual basis for various continuously appropriated programs. This paper will examine the efficacy of those continuously appropriated programs and their legislative intent.

This research identified the factors that contributed to the decline of Medi-Cal enrollment in the County of Santa Clara (CSC). Additionally, it determined the actions that the County of Santa Clara Health System (CSCHS) can adopt to mitigate such decline. The CSCHS is the local safety-net healthcare provider for the residents of the CSC. Despite the CSCHS experiencing a significant increase in Medi-Cal covered individuals with the implementation of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) in 2010, this trend has overturned by 2019, with the County witnessing a significant decrease in Medi-Cal enrollment rates.

This research was conducted using a qualitative approach to the content analysis conducted on three official Instagram social media accounts from the three most popular Equestrian and Archery Tourism destinations in Indonesia.
