Citation Patterns Followed In Research Papers Of The Desidoc Journal Of Library & Information Technology, Geeta Gadhvi, Parul Chavda Ms, Piyush Pandya Mr.

The paper presents Citation patterns of 6914 citations appearing in 399 papers published in DESIDOC Journal of Library & Information Technology from 2012 to 2018. The researcher identified in the paper were Volume-wise Analysis of Citations per Article, authorship pattern, forms of literature, Chronological Analysis of Citations and a ranked list of top 25 cited Library Science journals. The most cited author of DESIDOC Journal of Library & Information Technology was Gupta B.M. The study finds that highest number of citations was single-authored (51.59 %), and 6.72 % citations were from books and only 55.07% citations were from journals. Chronological …

Background: The Journal of Computers in Human Behavior published its first issue in 1985. This study presents a general overview of the journal from 1985 until 2019 using bibliometric indicators to assess its performance.

Methods: The data for this study, dating between 1985 and 2019, was extracted from Scopus database. All the information was exported in CSV format for data analysis. This paper attempts to examine the impact of Human Resource Management (HRM) practices on the Job Satisfaction of Librarians in Jammu & Kashmir (J&K). On basis of the literature review, it is hypothesized that a positive perception among librarians regarding the HRM practices helps in developing a sense of satisfaction among them regarding their jobs. The hypothesised relationship is tested though regression analysis by using data from libraries of seven universities of J&K. It also traces users’ perceptions regarding subject access highlighting the problems in the retrieval of Bengali documents by subject in OPACs. Undergraduate and graduate students were enrolled in an upper-division online experiential learning course organized as a technology company start up at a public university in the US. Students participated in an academic department’s social media team, publishing a weekly newsletter and producing and curating content for multiple social media outlets designed for public and university audiences, a website for the department’s students, and a career portal. Purpose: This study investigates the Information-Seeking Behavior (ISB) of mass media professionals in E-environment working in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the most important strategic area of Pakistan. This work aimed at demonstrating India’s scientific contribution on Covid-19 research and analyzes the emerging research pattern using various bibliometric parameters.

Design/methodology/approach

Indian publications data on Covid-19 research were retrieved from SCOPUS database using structured query. VOSviewer & CiteSpace data visualization tools are used to generate citation, co-citation map and keyword clusters for better understanding of the research pattern. These monks are attached with the Dali Monastery of Darjeeling. 62 residential and trainee monks participated in the survey. All the monks are male. Survey method has been adopted for the present study. To introduce e-commerce to rural entrepreneurs, we need to convey information according to their needs. This article explains the information needs for rural entrepreneurs in developing their marketing through e-commerce. The proceedings concerning information needs for rural entrepreneurs were obtained through a case study approach in Tegalmanggung village, Sumedang Regency, Indonesia.
