This paper traces school library policy formulation and implementation as factors for attaining best practices in Nigerian school libraries from the inception of the National Policy on Education (NPE) in 1977 to the present. Nigeria’s post-independence educational policy advocates an active, learner-centered and resource-based constructivist approach that demands a central role for school libraries as learning and resource centers. The Policy also makes favorable mention of provision for school libraries. However, putting policy into practice has proved difficult in the almost 40 years that have followed. Abstract

The present study has been carried out to ascertain the level of usage of Wikipedia among the library users of University of Mysore. To conduct this study, the questionnaire method was adopted. Simple random sampling was adopted for data collection. In total 150 questionnaires were distributed and 137 responses were received. The response rate was 91.33 percent and the users' opinions that Wikipedia is very helpful to study purpose and also to get more information on a specific topic. The users point out that access to Wikipedia is essential for updating knowledge.

Under this study period, total number of 377 articles contributed by 723 authors published within 11 volumes and 44 issues. On average 34.27 articles published every year and researchers all over the world received total number of 3,346 citations (8.88 on average) from different reputed journals. Information anorexia can be defined as lack of or reduced absorption of information, especially information which necessary for everyday life and work. This research tries to investigate the correlation between application of information technology and information anorexia in a higher education setting. The present study analyzed 11681 global publications on feminism published from 2000 to 2017. The Scopus citation database was used to extract the required data. After analysis of the data it is found that the highest contribution in feminism research takes the form of journal articles. It is observed that the publications are steadily growing. The top 15 countries accounted for as much as 83 % global publications share. The United States topped the list with highest share (37.45%) of publications. Aim: The aim of this study is to assess the reading habit practices of Filipino community working in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).

Method: A cross-sectional survey was conducted through a self-administrated structured questionnaire from September to November 2019 at Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Fifty questionnaires have been distributed to Filipino nationals having a bachelor's degree and at least two years of stay in KSA.
