Kepangeranan Banyumas is one of the old and noble family members from Banyumas Regency, Central Java, Indonesia, who owned and kept the ancient Banyumas manuscripts in the physical form of dluwang paper. This is a preliminary study to provide an initial overview of the physical conditions of Kepangeranan Banyumas dluwang manuscripts. The results showed that the four manuscripts were in category three, or critical condition, and needed immediate conservation treatment.

This study aims to determine the development and trend map of Islamic Social Reporting (ISR) outbreak research that is published by a reputable journal in the theme of Islamic economics and finance. The data analyzed were more than 91 publications of Scopus indexed publications. The export data is then processed and analyzed using the R Biblioshiny application program to find out the bibliometric map of the development of Islamic Social Reporting research. The present study examines the Bibliometric Analysis of Publication Trends in Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya College of Arts and Science (SRMVCAS) during 2001-2020 using the Scopus database. Its goal is to look at how SRMVCAS’s research activity has grown and developed as evidenced by its publication output. A total of 740 records have been obtained and studied in accordance with the goals. The study explores the inaccuracies in the author names in journal references cited in five randomly selected theses in the subject of Library and Information Science (LIS) submitted to Banasthali University, Rajasthan, India during the period of 2012-2016, choosing one thesis per year. Five hundred and forty eight verifiable journal references appended in five LIS theses contained 924 cited authors. Findings show that 149 (16.13%) author names cited in 114 (20.8%) journal references were inaccurate. Furthermore, these 149 inaccurate author names contained 169 inaccuracies in both first name and surname. A sum of 49 errors (including 32 errors of missing …

This scientometric study investigates the current state of various studies on the Islamic moral economy published by journals equipped with a digital-object-identifier. The analysis is focused on descriptions of the characteristics and trends of keywords, authors and journals. The data analyzed were 182 research publications in Dimensi (https://dimension.ai). This study aimed to analyse the problems facing college libraries in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. For conducting this research study, the researcher adopted a mixed-method research design. A literature-based questionnaire was administered amongst the 221 professional librarians serving in college libraries, in which 186 librarians responded to the questionnaire. The response rate of the study was 84%. To obtain in-depth information, qualitative research was conducted. Face-to-face semi-structured interviews were conducted of the 15 senior librarians and M. Objective: This study aimed to conduct a bibliometric analysis and scientific visualization of the contribution made by Iranians' authors in the Library Philosophy and Practice (LPP) from 2006 to 2019.
Material and Methods: This bibliometric analysis used Scopus database for retrieving data on all papers published by Iranians in LPP during the study time span. VOSviewer and Microsoft Excel software packages were used for data analysis.

Commercial publishing houses dominate the academic publishing sector, and they discourage the sharing culture to protect business interests. Authors and institutions have no control over the publishing processes and lost the copyright on the works after publishing. The traditional model of publishing gives more financial commitment to authors. Self-publishing gives full control to the authors over the publishing processes. Open Access model gives the publications faster impact and greater user engagement. This article shares the experience of self-publishing an Open Access book in a higher education institution.

The main purpose of this study was to determine the extent of the relationship between Librarians’ ICT competencies and utilization of emerging technologies in academic libraries in Rivers State, Nigeria. The study was carried out using a correlational design. Three research questions, three objectives guided the study and three null hypotheses were formulated and tested at 0.05 level of significance. The population of the study was 55 librarians in four academic libraries in Rivers State. A census sampling technique was used for this study, where all the 55 librarians were used as respondents.
