Background: Pharmacy personnel in hospitals are exposed to workplace hazards, especially biomechanical hazards which potentially cause musculoskeletal discomfort (MSD). Understanding of MSD can help prevent and control the problem. Objective: To study the prevalence and related factors of MSD among pharmacy personnel of King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital (KCMH). Methods: This study was a cross-sectional descriptive study with a sample size of 197 pharmacy personnel of KCMH. Background: Patients with coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) exhibit a decrease in functional status during the postoperative period. The rehospitalization rate within the first month is 8.0% - 21.0%. Therefore, during the first month after discharge, most patients require help from health care teams. Telehealth programs promote health monitoring and share health information remotely during transitional stages, encouraging awareness, increasing cardiac rehabilitation and physical function. Background: Variation in basal metabolic rate (BMR) has been closely related to obesity and pulmonary function. Objectives: To determine the association between BMR, body composition and pulmonary function among university students aged 19 - 22 years old. Methods: This cross-sectional study was carried out among the pre-clinical students of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak. We reported two cases of acute appendicitis in a complicated group of pediatric patients in which the appendix also located at extraordinary sites. A child aged 5 years old experienced abdominal tenderness with the greatest point at lower abdomen. Another child aged 13 years old suffered from symptoms of abdominal pain. Background: Current treatments of Graves’ disease have their own advantages and disadvantages. Radioactive Iodine (RAI) is an effective treatment but most of the patients will develop hypothyroidism.Objective: To study the results of treatment of Graves’ disease treated with RAI and to identify factors those could influence the outcomes.Methods: In all, 1,168 Graves’ disease patients who were treated with RAI were evaluated on their thyroid function for 1 - 26 years. Solid pseudopapillary neoplasms (SPNs) are very rare pancreatic tumors in children. We present clinical presentation, tumor characteristic, surgical management and outcome of SPNs at our institute. There were four patients (3 males, 1 female) undergoing pancreatectomy for SPNs with median age of 11.5 years (10 - 14 years). Presenting symptoms were abdominal pain (n = 4), palpable abdominal mass (n = 2) and vomiting (n = 2). All patients had tumor located in the pancreatic body, and in two of them, the tumor also involved the pancreatic tail.
