Hopelessness has been identified as a major psychological problem that exacerbates the clinical outcomes of chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients undergoing hemodialysis (HD). Hopelessness is mostly reduced by cognitive therapy, but the results are delayed, so a spiritual element is needed. Spiritual emotional freedom technique (SEFT) therapy can reduce hopelessness because it not only focuses on cognition, but also involves spiritual, psychological, and physical elements. Community leaders must understand their role in controlling COVID-19, such as monitoring misleading information and providing socialization, education, protection, monitoring, and evaluation activities in the community, due to the numerous limitations of local governments in managing large populations during this crisis. Hospital patient safety socialization is a routine part of nursing care. Although nurses’ knowledge of patient safety affects nurses’ safety attitudes, such knowledge may not be optimal. This study explored potential factors determining nurses’ safety attitudes in a hospital setting. This was a quantitative study with a cross-sectional design. The study population comprised 376 nurses who were recruited using the purposive sampling method. The instruments were valid and reliable. Hipertensi adalah salah satu penyakit tidak menular tanpa gejala dengan kematian tertinggi yang mulai berkembang pada remaja. Studi CDC menunjukkan 1 dari 25 remaja usia 12 hingga 19 tahun menderita Hipertensi. Sementara di Indonesia, terdapat 34,11% dengan usia di atas 18 tahun terdiagnosis hipertensi oleh dokter. Pada tingkat lebih kecil, dalam penelitian di kota Depok ditemukan 57,1% kasus hipertensi pada remaja di usia 12-25 tahun. Controlling Aedes aegypti mosquitoes with chemical insecticides causes resistance on humans, environmental residues, and contaminates food and water. Polygala paniculata is a potential alternative to insecticides in controlling Ae. aegypti. This study aimed to determine the effect of the Insecticide Score of P. paniculata extracts on the mortality of Ae. aegypti mosquitoes based on KT50. Jatropha tanjorensis is among the rich floras of Southeast Nigeria and used by ethnic people to treat infections and manage health conditions. Ethnomedicine has long been employed in the treatment of ailments caused by bacterial pathogens. Studies showed that the incorporation of synthetic α-tocopherol to an antibacterial agent improves its activity. However, knowledge about the antibacterial-enhanced activity of plant-based α-tocopherols, especially those isolated from Jatropha tanjorensis, is limited because of the different bioactivities of synthetic and natural α-tocopherols. Introduction.People with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) are at a higher risk of mortality from COVID-19. This study aimed to identify the relationship between T2DM and the outcome of COVID-19 patients in Sanglah Hospital Denpasar, Bali. Methods. An observational analytic study with a cross-sectional approach was conducted among COVID-19 patients. Coronavirus disease 19 (COVID-19) can present as various symptoms, which range from asymptomatic to severe symptoms. We report a case of COVID-19 female patient with malaria co-infection who developed pericarditis complication. In this pandemic era, it is mandatory to rule out COVID-19. Coinfection with malaria will result in higher cytokine levels which lead to atypical complication, such as pericarditis. Prompt identification of atypical COVID-19 complications is essential as it can lower the mortality rate and reduce the duration of hospitalization.

Background: Melasma, or chloasma, is an acquired pigmentary disorder caused by increased melanin in the epidermal and dermal layers, characterized by brown or gray patches on the face and neck. There are many treatment options available; however, the difficulties in treating melasma are frequent recalcitrants, high recurrence rate, irregularity in treatment, and the tendency of the patients to self-medicate.
Case Ilustration: We report a case of mixed melasma treated by microneedling and topical PRP administration. Thirteen weeks following the therapy, the patient showed a favorable response brighter skin and substantial disappearance of brown patches.

Background: Cutaneous metastasis is a rare phenomenon of thyroid carcinoma. Several mechanisms regarding cutaneous metastasis from internal malignancies have been proposed. Various treatment options are available, including surgical procedures, radioiodine therapy, thyroid hormone therapy, and other possible therapies. The prognosis of thyroid carcinoma with cutaneous manifestation is poor.
